RV Care Tips: Conditioning Slide Out Wiper Seals

Failing slide out seals are the most common source for RV leaks. Regularly conditioning the seals on your RV will extend the life of them, but it will also make sure they are functioning properly and sealing against the weather. It’s important to be proactive with regular maintenance on your RV, especially with the slide out wiper seals and really, with all the seals. Taking a little time to condition now and save yourself a headache later.

Did you do the horizontal seal on top?

If you're asking about silicone conditioners, yes. But please don't use silicone caulk on your seals or wipers as a conditioner. Just make sure the spray/conditioner is intended for the slide seals and wipers. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
