RV Care Tips: Conditioning Slide Out Wiper Seals
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 15 ส.ค. 2024
- Failing slide out seals are the most common source for RV leaks. Regularly conditioning the seals on your RV will extend the life of them, but it will also make sure they are functioning properly and sealing against the weather. It’s important to be proactive with regular maintenance on your RV, especially with the slide out wiper seals and really, with all the seals. Taking a little time to condition now and save yourself a headache later.

I like to use zep floor shine to do my whole RV. Turns out beautifully. You can purchase it from Lowe’s.
Do you only use it on the seals or the fiberglass too,
I’m in Florida. So I do it once a year. I also use 303 UV protectant.
Well done sir👏🏻
We appreciate the feedback! Thanks for watching!
Did you do the horizontal seal on top?
Also does the 3n1 have UV protection?
Can you use silicone on the seals?
If you're asking about silicone conditioners, yes. But please don't use silicone caulk on your seals or wipers as a conditioner. Just make sure the spray/conditioner is intended for the slide seals and wipers. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
