Great Video with excellent step by step guides - Thanks for giving me the confidence to replace my internal screen protector on my 5 month old fold 4 - I was terrified that I would damage the screen - due to your video I managed a 100% fit and I'm so happy 😊
Funny how people are worrying about the inner screen protector when its the hinge protector that causes problems. As it folds into the phone and changes the clearence gap in the hinge which can put pressure on the underside of screen and kill pixels. Ive had 2 folds both with a Whitestone TPU protector layered OVER the factory protector and both have been fine I use tempered glass on the cover display.
I followed the steps as best as i could and it did go on nicely but when i folded my phone again the screen protector lifted up again in the middle. Not sure if i did something wrong.
Did you have to remove the pre installed screen protector before installing whitestone Dome one? Can i still apply it without removing the one that coes already installed?
I found one for the inside and outside , no hinge, I bought it perfect application but I'm worried that it will actually damage the inside pre installed one but I doubt it. I ordered a hinge one separately
what's the point of removing it if you're just going to replace it with this product? Wouldn't the factory protector be better? I can see the outside display. But messing with the inside would make me nervous.
Great work!!! I've just got my Galaxy Z Fold 4 a few weeks ago and I've put on a Samsung front screen protector, and the free standing-case you get from them, but I can't decide what screen protector to use on the inside screen as Samsung don't seem to do them. I'm definitely going to choose from these guys you've shown me how to install. I'll be coming back here for more advice with you again! Thanks V
Mine doesn't it was perfect a bit of rainbow around the edge and camera but barley noticeable, because it's covering the bottom of the inside camera slightly and the edges because it's refracting the light through it but other than that perfect, il see 6 months down the line how it held up and if it bubbled but doubt it. If it didn't now then I doubt it will later. I didn't use any of these in the video tho.
@@HighTechCheck so my reason. For buying this the 1st case I used on the front got loose and moved and put a couple super small light scratches on my screen . I've read a bunch that this protector being liquid will kind of fill in those and hide micro scratches like that. What's your opinion on that not to much info on this setup
Just curious, how is the hinge film holding up? I have it too and am hesitant to install after reading many users claiming it wrinkled and peeled due to the tight gap tolerance when folding and unfolding the phone
@@CristianoCritico, nothing to do with phone casing....the hinge protector film is just too thick for the reduced tolerance gap between the hinge and body. Whitestone just did not test their product prior to launching
Great video.... keep up the good work Q: Can you remove the screen protector without any issues or residue? the "Whitestone Dome premium glass Screen Protector"? as the glue and curing it seems permanent .
great video but i just don't see what is the point of getting Dome protector with UV light over the EZ... seems the same to me. any insight on the matter?
I will say 1 thing I've read. Is if u have small micro scratches that are not super deep or large it fills them and hides them quite well. I'm going to try out this brand tomorrow.
Im pretty sure putting ANYTHING on the inside screen voids your warranty from Samsung and possibly from your carrier as well. It's probably better to just put a case on it, get insurance, and be careful with it.
Did he remove the pre installed screen protector on the big screen?

I just need a screen protector for the outside screen and the hinge( not the inside) . All I can find is the full kits.

Do you remove the factory screen protector before installing this one?
You're supposed to yes. Having both can be to thick and cause damage when you fold it.

@@TheFlashyWeasel I think this has a better feel than the factory one
Will it void the warranty if I remove the factory screen protector from the inside screen?
@@MrJhobert only if the damage is related to you removing it. But like if it's something unrelated to the screen no they should still cover that.
so which one's better... their Dome Premium Film (TPU) or the Dome Premium Gen Film (PTE)?

Which screen protector against broken
i noticed a thin line in the second install on the front screen. Is that always there?!?!?
Yea but it’s not horrible

Question does the last one the UV cure kit come with the uv light.?
Yes it does

How much
What happens to the original protector on the inside screen if you have to remove the whitestone product?
You take that off to install the Whitestone one. So if you remove the Whitestone you won't have one until you install another.
do not remove the factory inside protector
@@GearheadOutlaw you have to remove it to install this one. If you leave it on your going to damage the screen having 2 on there

wonder why there are horrible reviews on amazon ...1-star reviews are 40% of reviews almost half the people who bought this that left a review
