The elevator buttons is the stupidest thing i have seen. You need all buttons. Its not about saving money and space. Its the most used item for all residents. Also what do guests and workers do?? How stupid
Nah, it's perfectly fine. Ultimately, you're supposed to go to your floor only. A more traditional lift system but with similar security controls (only able to either go to one's floor, ground floor or facilities), will also allow the access card holder to only press those few buttons. Acid test is always the owners/users of the system. I did speak to 2 residents during my visit there and they have no qualms about it. Immediately able to adjust to it, not even an issue to begin with.
