Well, we used to kind of have this. In the form of wrath which was green/nature colored in the early days, obviously entangling roots, and in tbc, insect swarm which had a neat animation and sound.
@@pytnzpltr we arent getting "support" classes because Blizzard barely has the brain capacity to balance 3 spec types and you want them to add a 4th? Let alone adding new specs for classes to become "support" lol. If we do get it, wouldn't be this Xpac. They really should look at how other games develop class systems and job systems and steal that and improve it. Anytime Blizzard has stolen another games idea they always do it better, anytime they make their own shit, its always terrible. Hero talents overall I would say have been a success, doesnt feel like borrowed power, but it does feel like abilities that our specs SHOULD have already had or be able to have. I'm glad gone are the days of that stupid talent tier level shit. I think they should really look at final fantasy tactics, Bravely default, Lost Ark, etc for class ideas and build off of those. I also think youre going to lean into 1 spec does this then having all these "baseline" spells that are never used in any rotation is just dumb. How often is my frost mage going to use arcane explosion? Ill take spells never used for 300 Alex. Support classes would be fun if I had faith in them knowing how to make them work. Really for classes to work better they need to stop trying to make every class "fair". They are kinda doing what League of Legends did, where every champ has a slow/escape, every champ has some kind of mobility, every champ has some kind of heal. If you want people to play together there has to be a reason why you would want certain classes. Right now its "which class does the most dps yup taking them" zero thought into anything else "oh whats their M+ rating" nobody cares much about cc, defenses, heals, etc because almost all classes in their respective specs can do what each one does just differently. The only one who can out CC everyone else in dps is Frost cause of the 30 slows it has.
Also, the Darkbloom Warleather pants are still bugged on Male Night Elves when casting certain spells like Wild Growth. They turn a solid neon green color and it looks cheap and stupid. 😥
this looks better but they should prioritize hero talents first. make they look cooler. instead of just making the base talents better. These hero talents might as well be in the regular skill tree.
Might sound dumb but I've always wished there was a plant based dps for Druid. Poisons, vines, and other shit.
I feel that may be coming in the style of a support class with the soon to be released Harronir. Would make sense tbh… could be interesting?

problem is that druid has BORING hero talents so It feels bad to play when other classes have better toys
