Funnier enough my king becomes imortal with this ability active he can tank even a fully charged single inferno

It's because u use the warden eternal tome first then after or while the eternal tome gone u use the king gauntlet and there u go

Other than that if your king happens to walk on the outside of the base for a while whilst your main push is going he will be full health again. Very useful

The vampstache is my favorite ability it makes the king 21% faster with the dps on giant gaunt so good

Actually when gaurlet activates then the king hits many of target at once so that the health is not declined

i use the king with vamp to funnel my queen and warden in hybrid so vamp gauntlet is pretty good

its an active ability like rage vile

You need to press the king icon or just wait until king dead (remember to activate "use ability automatic when heroes dead" in settings)
