I feel like this video really shows how busted the qualities are too. He goes from a low tier gold weapon to a max tier purple one and does way better, then goes from that to an s tier and is suddenly sweeping through the mid game rounds he was struggling on last time because of the higher gear qualities.

14:17 There was an upgrade that involves lightsabers, and that was the boomerang monkey’s final upgrade in BTD4. That was the only appearance of an upgrade in one game due to fear of copyright issues.

I think a good mechanic would be when you upgrade the monkey you have a lower chance at lower rarities, so when it's maxed you can't get common or rares anymore. Either that or being able to upgrade your luck like with the upgrade monkey. And maybe add a warning system for exotic or higher rarity so you don't accidentally skip over something good.

Try making this mode have a sandbox kinda feature like with the upgrade monkey where you could choose what upgrade you want but here you could choose what the accessories or traits or whatever you want so that you can try out different combinations and try full set bonuses

One improvement I'd like to suggest is for the rarities to adjust as you upgrade them. Like, first upgrade makes the common tier less common, and make other tiers more common.

All of the bows hit multiple enemies like ricochet that they all do that all of the bows. They’re all like Quincy so you should just only get bows.
