- Video showing the installation of the Hi-Power Safety Fast Shooting System (SFS) (a.k.a. Fast Safety) step by step on an Arcus 94 Hi-Power Clone - NOTE: This is an excellent demo video for all Hi-Power pistols including the FN and Browning Hi-Power which is identical internally to the Browning Hi-Power Classic and Mark II.
Tip: To hold everything in the right place when installing the tiny safety spring, you can use a toothpick to wedge against the other parts so they don't move around. Put the wedge on the right side of the frame. The wood is soft enough not to mar anything.
The best video on the SFS install I've seen. Thanks.
Great looking Hi-Power and video.
All of you at BHSpring do exceptional work, amazing job on my FN.
Thank you my friend, and your english is more than good enough for me....the detailed explanation here was awesome, I now KNOW I can order SFS kit and install it properly myself! 👍👏
Simple enough, thanks a lot!
Very helpful video, thank you for sharing it
Very unique Arcus
that was amazing
Thank you sir, That was great!
Great instruction. To me, your English is perfect. Nice Arcus. I'm interested in your sights.
Thanks.
The sights are OEM Arcus sights drilled out and milled (there are cuts in the metal so more light to reach the fibers) and fibers are inserted.
As a rookie to this kind of detailed work, I wanted a bit more instruction on mounting the sear spring. Also, when you installed the right side safety lever and then used punches, I don’t know what you were doing. An explanation and detailed view would be helpful.
Mine, purchased March of 2021 has a pin sticking out the top of the safety lever. Am I supposed to leave that, remove it, or what? The kit came without written installation instructions, so I was hoping for detailed instructions here. I will see if there are other vids on sfs that will clarify.
I have both levers on, and the decocking/ cocking works. I need to know what to do with that upward sticking pin in the right side lever.
Thanks for this video and for the sfs system.
@15:30...that right side safety lever pin is facing DOWN when putting the lever into place....the pin should then be "punched" in until flush, LOCKING it into place. Both safety levers should face the same direction (forward or up depending on engagement or not) when finished with NO pins protruding
I need this same unit where can i purchase and model info plz
I see thats the Arcus w/ what I call
the "fastback" rather than beavertail style
... on the Arcus w/ the very extended
downward beavertail IS IT OK TO
FILE/MACHINE OFF MOST OF THAT?
Thats a sweet Arcus. My Arcus has the beavertail which is cool. Done see lightening cuts on the slide on these guns very often and dont see magwells either. Did you do that magwell? Is it welded on?
Thank you for the kind words, the magwell is BHCustom Part. It's not welded on but screwed in. Can be removed anytime.
@@bhspringsolutionsllc555 cool, I have never seen that before.
English was fine good video
