Probably the best coaching/tips on TH-cam. Most people play Doubles and there's isn't much tips available like this, thanks for sharing. I particularly liked the net shots for Doubles, which I don't use but would try now!
Great Video again, love to see more on doubles tips and anticipation around the net, the way you show the do's and don'ts makes it really approachable to apply during my games
Simple & effective tips.. i make the first two mistakes most of the times. I get away with slower opponents but against more experienced or quick youngsters i get punished everytime.
He he I know that feeling, but I'm usually on the other side, I have punished so many on their faces mostly (of course unintentionally :p)... I am not particularly a fast-paced player, I happen to anticipate apponent's return as demonstrated in the video. This video provides excellent insight.
Great video. This is what i am looking for some time..basically it help us to correct our game without taking coaching..pls post more strategy videos like this.
Yes these will help you because watching your video you definitely play a good net shot or return and then duck. So this will bring you into the game and help you dominate the net area.
Hi😊 thank you for this very informative video i learn new things. Just a little thing though, I find hard sometimes who of the player you are talking about😅
Move a little right to cover the straight shot because most amateur cant do crosscourt shot with a forehand grip. Also do more reaction training to improve your speed at anticipating the shuttle.
@@michaelkoerli3815 Yes some great advice from Wide. You want to keep practicing technique and speed to play shot consistently tight to the net and get there earlier than your opponent.
Teach is how to hit soft shots by the net or soft drives not sure what they are called but when i try to hit the aoft Shots they float in the air to long for the opp to catch up and smack it down .

This is great, I regularly find myself at the front and no idea what to do. This video made me realise I likely don't have my racket up in the air 👍🏻
Great we could help and it’s small things like that that can make a big difference. From a mental side as well.
useful 👍🏻
1. always have hands up
2. play lower nets
3. link shots together (anticipate straight return)
Best one
