I was not able to convince myself to buy any LLM AI subscriptions. But having this level of AI integration in my most used/favourite tool is definitely worth it. Just subscribed to the Pro yesterday. Keep up the good work.
P.S. The automation, easy interface, cool add-on functionality has motivated me to create my personal projects for this. Will soon become a member of the dev community.
mind blowing as always, I am such a fan boy of Raycast, it's insane :D all we are missing now is chatting with documents features and image generation and I will literally never leave raycast's window :D

Nice! You should merge this feature in some way with the AI Commands. It would be awesome because AI Commands are sometimes faster than opening the AI Chat. But nice work, guys. Loving it 😎
You can already share AI Commands at prompts.ray.so! They’re indeed better for some use cases. Nice to have both options!

It’s not a small thing just because it’s incremental. It’s stable and useful. That’s nothing small. More than that, it’s control which is what Raycast is all about.

It’s still there! You can even set it to different models like Perplexity now, for super fast an accurate web results 🌐
@@raycastapp Quick AI should somehow be combined with this. It doesn't fully make sense. and for presets, I want to really be able to invoke my favorite ones on the command line.
Love it! Once image generation is added to the AI chat, I will finally be able to ditch my OpenAI subscription. I don't utilize the API keys enough to warrant the sub. Just upgraded to the advanced AI add-on as well, looking forward to utilizing it!
On another note, have you guys seen Fabric by Daniel Miessler? Wondering if the presets were inspired by his project at all. This should give a more daily-use option, without having to use a CLI.

Love Raycast! It is a big part of my daily design workflow. Unfortunately these prices for pro features are high 😢 even if I really wanted to be able to make use of these features!

the only thing I'm missing is the ability to create shortcuts or aliases for my presets, everything else is perfect!
Currently, you can open the AI Chat and navigate between chats with Command + 1…9, in the order they appear in the sidebar. Since you can pin chats, you can have any chat that you use often mapped to a number!
Super cool! Are there plans to add the ability to add files in AI chat? This is the one missing feature that is stopping me from switching over to the advanced AI plan.

Does the inbuilt chatGPT in Raycast saves previous conversations?
Loving pro with the AI! One thing though, would love to see CMD+Return for submit, rather than just the Return key.

Nice, but getting access to pro features is way too expensive for a lot of international users. $150 AUD year is a hell of a lot of money, it's a shame as it'd be nice to use with Ollama locally (which would be no cost to Raycast)

The results from Raycast's interface (say GPT 3.5) seem inferior to the direct results one would get from Open IA GPT 3.5's own web interface. Any reason for that? Other than that great tool, thank you.
They’re both similar products, but they make slightly different use of the same model. We aim to keep answers concise and provide flexibility on configuration with system instructions and the ability to tweak creativity etc. That’s why sometimes the tools yield different results, that can be better or worse depending on the use case
You can also continue the chat in the AI chats window which is similarly functional to OpenAI's.
Good update. The only thing I need now is to figure out how to keep the emoji picker open so I can spam emoji without having to keep hitting the hot key 😂😭
Is it option enter? I don’t remember. But look for that option in the action panel! (Cmd K)
Hmm-does News Reader require the upgraded Raycast AI? I tried it with various models included in the normal Pro subscription and none seemed to search the web for recent news
That one specifically could use some prompt tweaking… We also struggled to find consistent results - we were going to mention it as an example in the video, but ended up taking it out. Since presets.ray.so is open source, it would be nice to have the community get that one to 100% 👌

Oh, we don’t have a notification system, currently. You could try making an AI Command instead and assigning that to a keyboard shortcut.
