Me too!!! It started with rose gold accents; that was my gateway. Now I'm looking at this yellow-gold accents, and they look delicious 😆 Man, I should have never gotten into watches. This addiction is quickly getting out of hand 😆
I just received the DS Action two tone Diver, and I am Impressed. Great finish to all surfaces ,great quality for the money and looks cool also . It would be awesome if they could make a 41mm that would be the sweet spot for me. I am very glad that I have this watch in my collection. Do you think a 41mm would be well received by the world watch buying market? Regards Newcastle Australia.
That's awesome! I'm so happy for you I think anything 40mm to 44mm is great So 41mm would be a great option personally However, on social media, everyone wants sub 40mm watches 🤷🏻♂️ Certina does have action divers in 38mm, but I'm not sure how much better they sell I wouldn't be upset if they replaced the 43mm with a 42. Maybe that would be a good middle ground? What do you think?
Carlos, great video. If you don’t remember me, I was the guy who gave you a hard time for using the word “insane!” to describe a watch. Your recent videos have articulated the experience of using these timepieces in a way that we can use to make informed decisions. Great work!
Hey Dude! Yes, I remember! believe it or not, I try to listen to folks feedback and put it into practice whenever it feels right and organic to me 😜 Thank you for your original feedback, for sticking around, and for taking the time to highlight my growth I appreciate you, my friend 🍔🍺
@@LosNTime You’ve earned my sub. I wish you the best on your channel. My wife surprised me with a Tudor Black Bay GMT. If you are ever in Colorado, you should stop by and do a review.
Dood! That’s awesome That's a great watch Thank you for the good wishes I'm actually in the middle of reallocating my family to Portland, Oregon (from central Texas) So, who knows? If Colorado has some good events, I may make it out there 😆
Thank you Carlos, for this high-end review! I’ve just subscribed to your channel, and I saw you’ve already made some very promising reviews of watches that I’m interested in. I think that the blue with gold (or any gold) varieties look great on people with a darker skin color. Could you please make a video about a blue with black colored watch? Blue with black attracts me a lot. A high-five from The Netherlands!
Hey there! Thanks a bunch for leaving such a positive and uplifting comment. I'm going to start searching for a cool black and blue watch to showcase on the channel. Just so you know, it might take me a little while because I'm in the middle of moving halfway across the US 😊 Thanks again! It's awesome to have your support! 🍺🍔
In comparing the three watches, I would give a higher rating to the Certina over the Alpina due to its ISO rating and the presence of a well-lummed second hand. The clasp of the certina is also superior (same as the Mido). I prefer the styling and finishing of the Ocean Star, particularly the polished bevels on the case and the dual-finished hands. However, it's worth noting that the Mido is not ISO-rated. While style is subjective, when considering the specifications on paper for a three-hand date diver priced under $1000, I believe that Certina offers the better option. That being said, regarding vintage GMT catalogs, I find Mido to have the superior offering. 😆 I would add Alpina is an excellent watch with more original design than Certina, even if the watch is not as strong on paper
Funny how they made entry level tool watch to look flashy like two tone gold. I'd rather get Hamilton Khaki Navy Frogmen. At least the H10 movement in Hamilton does not have plastic like Powermatic 80. Also H10 movement accuracy is within COSC. But i guess that's why Hamilton branding is stronger than Certina even though they are both under Swatch Group.
Certainly! Here's a revised version of the text: It's important to note that both the Frogman and action diver movements are the same for both Certina and Hamilton. Neither are COSC certified, and they feature the same escapement, without any plastic parts. However, one advantage Certina has over Hamilton is that the action diver is ISO-certified, if that factor is important to you. While Hamilton has a strong brand presence in the US, its popularity diminishes significantly outside of North America. It's important to understand that entry-level Swatch brands all utilize the same resources and each focuses on different regions of the world market while sharing the profits with Swatch. In the end, Hamilton, Certina, Mido, and Tissot all offer the same quality and value. You can confidently choose any of these brands based on what resonates with you. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I also have a fondness for Hamilton and am looking to review their Frogman diver. Cheers! 🍔🍺
Hey, heads up! Next week, I'm dropping the review for the PH200m. Let me tell you, this watch from Certina is another level of awesome, and the colors are seriously cool. The only bummer is that it's not ISO certified, but it's still a fantastic skin diver-style watch. Keep an eye out for it if this is your kind of vibe! 🌟🔥👀

I think you are right . lets hope they come up with another size option . I feel they would then be catering for all wrist sizes . Regards

Love 2 tone but I prefer the 38 mm version.
That 38mm was a great option !!!!
Is the 38mm iso certified?
@@LosNTime yes, it's a certified diver. 300 m WR
That is absolutely outstanding!
I have a 7.5-inch wrist, so 43mm is a great size for me, but having a 38mm option was a brilliant move by Certina 🍺🍔
The two tone is growing on me. For $900, that's pretty awesome. How does it stack up to a Mido or an Alpina around that price point?
