Wow. 2 real good-looking guns right there. The Rossi is really nice, but this silver and black Taurus is just stunning.

Great video, exactly the type of video I wanted to see for these Rossi and Taurus revolvers. Looking forward to the next part(s)

I want the Rossi, just can’t find one anywhere yet. Thanks for the video

Thanks for looking inside this revolver and your opinion on its built quality. For somebody who’s not a gunsmith, which main hammer spring could I use to lighten the trigger for a quick dirty trigger job?

Just out of curiosity what are the Factory Hammer and rebound spring weight? What would be good replacement Springs?

Assuming the same passive safeties as on a Smith hammer mounted firing pin. Rebound slide, hammer stop, and hammer block. Most revolvers today have frame mounted firing pins so they use the transfer bar.

I have an RP63 and my only complaint is the grips. The stock ones will do until aftermarket catches up.

For whatever reason Taurus has refused to release the Rossi to California. So I purchased the 856 executive and model 65. I told em before i would buy this and the other 2 in the Rossi line. Im serious. Cmon Braztech, wake up! This is a home run for you!

Taurus once again trying to imitate the S&W, model 10-10 MP from the Brazilian contract, with fixed sights, built-in extractor, 3" barrel and round butt!

Question: I’m no a gunsmith. I like that the firing pin is in the hammer-very traditional. However is there a safety mechanism in place to allow for carrying 6? Some sort of transfer bar??

It has a piece that blocks the hammer from being able to reach the primer. You can see it in the video

You're a "Gunsmith", and you didn't clean the front of the cylinder/back of the forcing cone (gun has been fired) before measuring the Cyl/barrel gap!? Your measurement is completely invalid.

You call yourself a gunsmith, you should be a little less vigorous when you're inserting the cylinder back into the frame. Anybody that knows anything about revolvers knows that Hollywood style slamming cylinders back into the frame is not the way to handle revolvers.
