I love that Bowser retains his personality even while he's a good guy, he's easily the most entertaining part of any Mario game where they join forces.
Just want to add - Bowser is DEFINITELY a great leader. Kamek is able to rile his minions up just by using Bowser’s name to motivate them. Aside from the whole kidnapping thing, he’s probably one of the morally good characters of Mario.
The first time I see the ending, I thought to myself, “What happened to Olivia?” But than I realized that since Olivia is created and folded by Olly and that she wishes that all origami Olly had created be undone, Olivia too is unfolded as well. Olivia is the best. I will never forget about her.

In the past paper mario games ( not counting sticker star ,color splash and super paper mario doesn't have toad in that game ) they had been coexistence with each other since first and thousand years door treat the "baddest" creatures as their own person meaning not every koopas or any other creatures not all work for Bowser to look ALL the same. They can live at the same town like koopa village , toad town and Petal meadows for examples ( I think that how u spelt thousand year door koopa town )

This is the first time I've completed a multi-hour long video. So worth it. There was alot to this story that actually caught me off-guard, I didn't expect to see so many twists on a mario storyline.
This game is beautiful. Not just because of the graphics. The story. First it starts off with Mario and luigi which in most paper mario games the bros are separated. But my favorite part is the origami king. He did so much wrong due to his blind rage and thinking that he was doing the right thing when he actually wasn't but he changed due to his love for his sister. With all the stuff going on in certain communities like smash and fire emblem a lot of people do bad and even horrible things but they can change. In some cases redeeming yourself and doing the right thing can cost you your career or maybe life. I respect that Nintendo went into this and centered the story about it. I know that all the origami characters are gone but I'd welcome him and his sister with open arms in any new kart game of party game.

I'd say in a way, they brought the classic formula back. Equipping your attacks like in 64 and TTYD. No fast travel like in TTYD and 64. Though, toad town looks a bit different, shouldn't classic paper mario 64 characters make a comeback to help their old friend Mario? It would make sense.
I never really liked XP in paper Mario. It just made battles feel mandatory. I like the battles here and CS because they are just for fun and they are!
So Olivia intentionally killed herself right? Like she knew that by undoing all the origami her brother made she was undoing herself? She didn't unintentionally mokey paw herself right? she could have said I "wish all the damage my brother caused was undone" she chose death.
Y'all remember the time that character that wanted to kill themselves (and EVERYTHING ELSE) to be with the one they loved, y'al, count blecks pretty cool and the BAD GUY IN THE WRONG. Killing yourself isn't the answer to losing loved ones, not to mention if she wanted to be with them again she could have used the wish to undo the damge caused. That would have brought Bobby back.

If I've learned anything from this game it's this: 1. EVERYBODY HATES TOAD 2. Bowser is parent of the year 3. Peach needs to invest into REAL security 4. Luigi needs glasses and be more important in the plot EDIT: SPOILER AHEAD: One more thing...THE ENTIRE PLOT OF THIS GAME COULD HAVE BEEN AVERTED IF OLLY OWNED A MIRROR.
I'm gonna say this now, this is the first time a game's CREDITS made me cry tears of joy. THE CREDITS. Especially with the 100% ending, had me tearing up before the credits even started-

Olly has the most unique story,he didn't want to do all this,he was driven crazy by everything he's done and he wants to redeem himself by sacrificing himself.
I like how in this game everything is actually papercraft, with stickers, materials, and strips, instead of simply being flat and simple. They really focused on the paper part of paper mario.
Bowser and his minions are just a delight in this game. Every bit of dialogue that was "Wait, we're working together this time? Uh.....okay I'm down with that!" was both adorable and hilarious. And that scene at the end, minions, toads, Bowser, Mario, and Peach just having fun and letting the Paper lanterns into the air was beautiful. It's amazing how incredible Mario games are when Bowser is an ally instead of a villain.

I lost someone super special to me earlier this year, and when the Bobby death scene came up I actually cried. THANKS A LOT NINTENDO! WHY’D YOU MAKE ME CRY???!!!
41:36-45:37 This scene was so heartwarming, uplifting, sad and emotional. It even has an educational moment about death where Bobby dies and Olivia was very sad when she finds out he’s not coming back. Then Mario finds Bobby’s Ghost in the mine and he tells him that he’ll still be here with him and Olivia. After that Bobby’s Ghost tells Mario to cheer Olivia up by using a paper goomba macho soldier mask. She then cheers up and they continue onwards to the yellow streamer. Sure Sesame Street did that topic about death much better in episode 1839 called Goodbye Mr Hooper but that moment from Paper Mario: The Origami King would put all of the educational Mario games to shame. Also Bob-Omb’s Encouragement is the best music in the soundtrack because it kinda sounds like a lullaby for babies and toddlers. This game is the reason why I cut the fuse off of my Bob-Omb plush and why I made a Ghost Bobby redesign by replacing his feet with a ghostly tail to express my love for Bobby and how cute he is.

Killing yourself isn't the answer to losing loved ones, not to mention if she wanted to be with them again she could have used the wish to undo the damge caused. That would have brought Bobby back.

I like how in this game everything is actually papercraft, with stickers, materials, and strips, instead of simply being flat and simple. They really focused on the paper part of paper mario.
Bowser and his minions are just a delight in this game. Every bit of dialogue that was "Wait, we're working together this time? Uh.....okay I'm down with that!" was both adorable and hilarious. And that scene at the end, minions, toads, Bowser, Mario, and Peach just having fun and letting the Paper lanterns into the air was beautiful. It's amazing how incredible Mario games are when Bowser is an ally instead of a villain.

41:36-45:37 This scene was so heartwarming, uplifting, sad and emotional. It even has an educational moment about death where Bobby dies and Olivia was very sad when she finds out he’s not coming back. Then Mario finds Bobby’s Ghost in the mine and he tells him that he’ll still be here with him and Olivia. After that Bobby’s Ghost tells Mario to cheer Olivia up by using a paper goomba macho soldier mask. She then cheers up and they continue onwards to the yellow streamer. Sure Sesame Street did that topic about death much better in episode 1839 called Goodbye Mr Hooper but that moment from Paper Mario: The Origami King would put all of the educational Mario games to shame. Also Bob-Omb’s Encouragement is the best music in the soundtrack because it kinda sounds like a lullaby for babies and toddlers. This game is the reason why I cut the fuse off of my Bob-Omb plush and why I made a Ghost Bobby redesign by replacing his feet with a ghostly tail to express my love for Bobby and how cute he is.
