Laura, I loved what you said about not choosing something just because it has value or the right marking on the bottom. That choosing something because you think it is beautiful is a more important reason and especially if it fits into your decor. Convinces me you are a grounded person.

Funny when I go thrifting, I find things I think you would like. I always pick it up and look for the artist signature which isn’t something I ever do for myself, then I always say, Laura would have bought that! Love you girl!

My mother always used saddle soap on leather coats and shoes. With warm water and a soft brush swirling in the soap tin applied to the Leather also in a swirling motion, conditions and cleans at the same time! A must try!💕💕🦋🦋💕💕

Your home is coming along. I was 20 wearing a Wilson. If you bought a Wilson you were stylin. Nice to see someone liking vintage leather especially a Wilson. It makes feel vintage tho. Lollol. I still look for the 80s leather square boxy sport jackets. Huge deep pockets in the front. I have two black. I haven't seen any other colors. I enjoyed your video..I always do. Love the big hand. I imagine it mounted on a piece of wood, with fingers pointed outward, and hung on the wall. Hang necklaces, ties or whatever from the fingers. …place rings, brooches in the palm. So cool!🙂

The terra cotta pottery, we call here in the Philippines "palayok", and we used it for linger cooking time, fish dishes, specially "sinaing" a Batangas dish. A mackarell like fish cooked with salt and camias. A very good dish....

I no I've said this before but y'all have the best goodwills in the states. I'm in West Tennessee and we just don't get half of what y'all have. Boohoo. But glad y'all can have these great adventures together as a couple.
So glad you got your FedEx package!! It is the struggle that adds to the story of our favorite finds! I found a Egyptian male statue life size and it fit in a Target shopping cart.I walked it to my apartment over 3 miles 💜 that statue! Kitchen is slow and steady and that always wins the race!

This may sound weird, but I'd love to see a video about your duds. What have you found that just turned out to be meh, or stuff that you've learned to steer clear of. Don't get me wrong, I love all the great finds, but we all learn from our mistakes. When I first started reselling, I paid wayyy to much for a McCoy cookie jar, I didn't do enough research and got caught up in the moment.

Laura, the small three leg dish would be also great to use it for antipasti in a dinner parti, like you can put some olives. Or you can put some dried flower petals. There are many more ideas.

Hi Laura, I'm in the process of redecorating my kitchen as well. I'm finding so many vintage items from my local goodwill for the kitchen, it is almost finished. I added black and white tile to make a herringbone pattern for a backsplash. it goes well with the bright sunflowers of my kitchen colors I chose. I found the coolest sunflower border at my local thrift shop and did only one main wall in the kitchen. the house was built in 1932 so the kitchen is very small with only minimal cupboard space so I converted a spare bedroom into a pantry. I lined the room with large storage shelves. I love to cook so the room is well stocked with all my cooking stuff. the colors I chose for the kitchen are taken from the border I found. I'm very lucky to live in a town that has several thrift stores. I'm a crafty sort so I have been also making wall decor and repurposing other things for pot and pan hangings. You inspire me and I so love your videos. thank you for your sweet smile and personality. you always brighten my day.

For the bathroom, have you considered having the door swing outward? Another option, instead of a pocket door could be a sliding door on the outside wall. I have a really tiny 3-piece shower room (less than 4’ x 4’) that had a door swinging inward. Changing the door to a sliding door made a huge difference to the bathroom, and allowed us to have a shower along the full length of one wall.
So many wonderful things, Laura! But my absolute favorite was your little Italy furniture arriving, finally. Yay!!!!
I traveled for a
month from CA TO NEW MEXICO AND AZ ! I shipped home 6 file size boxes full of treasures purchased in thrift stores antique shops and goodwill and savers ! I even went to a couple of yard sales in AZ .
I shipped my boxes 📦 the day before I flew back home and everything arrived intact the day after I got home 🏡
I'm so happy you finally received your furniture ! The packaging your furniture was in looked like it would have an interesting story to tell if it could talk !
