That's exactly right Tim. Your on the opposite side of the world. Hence do the reverse . Before making a move , do the exact opposite move. It sounds crazy. But just try it. At least once , you maybe surprised. Also , your not a fat kid . You just have a sweet tooth as we all do haha
Thanks Tim for the honesty although I'm not happy your drawing down its a good reminder it can happen to anyone and to stay humble and refocus on the setups that will dig you out of the rut. I've struggled since I started my day trading in Feb with STT but getting better, I've been playing RGTI multiple times successfully. Today was my best day adding to my position in RGTI for a great gain and got out for my best win in a very long time. Thanks for being real and inspiring.
I put a big dent on my small account with PBM also. Got in at $3.49 and my sell orders didn’t fill even though price went past $4 multiple times. I’m not going to trade premarket anymore because I can tell companies dump shares even premarket. There’s no better explanation of why sell orders do not fill.
@ yes when you place orders in premarket you have to change the TIF to ext(extended hours)otherwise it won’t trigger until regular hours. Not sure if you add ext on your orders. If you are then I would definitely contact your broker
Shorting is so much easier in small caps! Hello, how often do these stay up? 5%, 10% of the time? Not often. Shorting or going long both can be risky, it's called a stop loss. Neither is more risky than the other.
the problem being shorting can lead to blowups and your stop losses be damned, they can halt and rip right through them...it blows me ind I have to repeat this, but I'm grateful for the widespread ignorance as it makes my teachings more valuable
😆 That's funny. I have the same problem. I made all kinds of money when the market is tough, but barely turn a profit when there's so much moving all over the place. I'll settle in here in a bit and get it right.
Just had cervical fusion surgery working a physical job being a bellman for 16 yrs. I have 3 months off recovering from my surgery and my mind is made up when my medical leave is over I’m not going back to my job. I’m considering doing Tim’s millionaire challenge it’s time to make a change as far as occupations go. I’m willing to put the time into it and study my butt off.
Tsla I believe is going to pull back soon. I’ve seen this type of pattern with Tesla where it goes from $100-$200 pulls back now $300 just a little over $400. I believe it will pull back to around $350 $320 pretty soon then eventually start to make a move to $450 and then $500. Always pumps then dumps consolidates for awhile then pumps again

Are you putting extended time on your sell orders during pre market?
@ yes! Ext time with my broker is 7am to 8pm.

I definitely am better at shorting. Going long you have to anticipate the moves where as going short just wait for stocks to rip and then go short

I have done that with too many calls on TSLA. I'm an idiot. LOL! Nothing is ever guaranteed. Money management always. Thanks for the vids.
