This is the finest tinplate layout that I've seen in ages. It's quite obvious that he is a scale modeler. I feel his pain about no trains under the tree. Our two adorable cats have taken care of that! Great video, Austin.
Austin that was a great video!! I loved seeing the layout and hearing the story behind some of the buildings, etc. He's quite the craftsman. I also loved the intro and outro music.
I stumbled upon your channel and became a subscriber because I have an American Flyer set that my parents gave to me in the 1950s all boxed up in the closet. You are inspiring me to get it out and see what it needs to make it my annual around the tree train. Right now I use G scale and it is just too big. Thanks and keep the videos coming! Oh and Merry Christmas!!
Love the Plasticville! Thanks for the video tour! The “Capacitors” in the little truck appear to be fluorescent light starters. You can still buy those new at Menards or any other hardware store. This video gave me lots of ideas for my layout as well. The grass carpet might help with noise too

Very nice winter garden! Very nice interview. Some great ideas and customization! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing. This is great to get more people into Train's . Running trains around a Christmas tree 🎄. Very nice job on the video
A great train layout - display. Really enjoyed the interview.
Old scenery materials from the 40’s and 50’s by Life-Like and others will specifically say “for Christmas Gardens.” Nice presentation. 👍
I really enjoy these interview videos. Thanks for this one.
Thank you Mark.
Many thanks to Austin for interviewing me and thanks to all of the kind words regarding my Christmas Garden.
Many appreciate your artistry and detail. Well done!
That’s awesome!!

Awesome! Thanks for joining and welcome. I have playlists on the channel that may be of help...or just fun...as you move forward with your flyer.

MGT, yes, the combination of the carpet and the rubber road bed really do a great job of reducing the noise.
Hey Austin, was the large roadbed order mentioned mine?
Yep
