Another great topic! The NASG truly pulls together the ‘46 through ‘66 American Flyer crowd. It’s a great organization to be a member. Great job, Austin! 😊
I have been a TCA member since 2001. A lot of TCA, NASG, TTOS Uncataloged American Flyer cars fill my closet!! You would not believe how beautiful the Lionel produced American Flyer cars were and are! Some are so rare and hard to find that they are rather expensive in unused boxed condition which most are anyway! I am a condition freak so all of mine back to 1981 have never been used or even out of the boxes. I have so much Exc+ Gilbert originals, that I don't. even have space to do much with the items made in the 1940s!
Nice to see someone stepping up to the plate for S gaugers, especially since the demise of S Gaugian magazine. I still see a need for an organization dedicated to Gilbert American Flyer.
Postwar Flyer folks and S scale snobs unite? If they were dedicated American Flyer postwar i would in a heartbeat. Scale modlers are hateful towards toy trian peps in my experience.
Excellent. I'm actually joining right after my other shoulder surgery! Thanks and God Bless!
Thanks for the info Austin, I'll give it a try

Thank you Joseph. Love your attitude!

Very nice. I use the NASG site to view both scale and high rail layouts.

I agree Ron.
I just joined, Austin. I had NO idea the organization existed
Wonderful!
Congratulations on the article about you!
Thank you Alan. Very kind of you to say.
I also agree about not having folks around me that run trains!
Are you part of the NASG?
@Austin's American Flyer trains no but been thinking about it!

I'm optimistic that there might be positive change possible. I've been told on different occasions that most in the fine scale end began with postwar.
@@AustinsAmericanFlyertrainsI'm going to join just for the magazine and to troll the S scale snobs.
Get em Champ!
