I gave my Hubbie a navy leather recliner many years, maybe about 30 years , ago and it is still almost like new. It has had much use. Could not be happier with it. It was a lot of money for me back then but you get what you pay for and we still have a beautiful piece of furniture. I think it will outlive both of us.
I just bought a house, and inside it, i have found an old 90's sofá with a recliner machanism still working. That thing is huge! My wife asked: Put it on the trash!! But i said: No! I like it! There was a tag reading LaZboy. I thought: Made in US. Gonna bring it to life again. I have spent 1.500 bucks to renovate it. I dont know how this LaZboy sofa got here in Brazil, cause we dont have this brand here...but one thing i know for sure: Now i have a beautiful and confortable sofa in my room.

Interesting that you mentioned the straightness of the welt. We bought the Paxton sectional but I just couldn’t get over how wavy the welt looked. Thank goodness I was able to cancel the order and get a refund before it was delivered. Because now for the “health and we’ll being of their customers” all sales are final once received. Also, I couldn’t find what kind of wood was used. The store manager researched and let me know it is rubber wood. Not necessarily bad I guess. I was just looking for kiln dried for the amount of money they charge.
The frame of my La-Z-Boy recliner broke and pushed through the fabric. I bought the lifetime warranty and they will not honer the warranty. Terrible customer service. For the price I paid for the recliner I expected better quality. Again, they do not stand behind their lifetime warranty. I would think they would want a returning customer but instead they now have a disappointed customer. I will take my business elsewhere. I will never buy from La-Z-Boy again!
Why the heck wouldn't they honor a life-time warranty? Did they give you a reason? I'm looking for good quality furniture and it almost seems like there is just nothing good/reliable out there.

We purchased 3 lazy boy sofas and one love seat for a little over $13k about 4 months ago from the Fleming Island store in Florida. All these years people were telling me that lazy boy was the best but I’m not thrilled. They make weird creaking and cracking noises when moving around, lifting, or lowering the foot rests. When closing the foot rests there’s a loud sound. It’s hard to explain but they were super quiet in the showroom. The foot rests will also randomly pop out of the metal scissor pocket as well and it’s a real pain trying to get them to snap back in. So, this is what all the hype was about? I’m a very easy person to please but they don’t compare to our previous reclining sofas that were half the price.
I bought a new sofa and loveseat from Lazyboy and end tables, coffee table, TV stand. I called to cancel the accessories two days later, but they ordered it anyway and charged my credit card. They have refused to refund my money and the manager won't answer my calls. I'm done with them.

While I usually agree that La-Z-Boy are long lasting and comfortable, I am dusappointed with two matching recliner couches. I bought the two matching couches in 2018 and here it is Aug 2023, the main recliner couch - La-Z-Boy 440537 - has already fallen apart and is broken. No longer any good for anything. The other one a love seat with the center console for drinking glasses is still holding up. However when I bought the couches I was told that the pull levers for the recliners had a lifetime warranty. Less than a year later the love seat couch and the cables to the levers on both sides slipped out of the levers. I called La-Z-Boy and they said "Yes, they do have lifetime warranty for the lever system" - What they did NOT mention is that they send the new levers to your home for free BUT I have to pay to get them installed. So now I have a lover seat that will not recline and the main couch fell apart and even the wood broke, all in five years time. I was starting to think that I had bought a "lower quality cheaper" Laz-Z-Boy model. Just to mention this: I do have a lady version recliner chair that has been passed down to me that is around 35+ years old and it is still working fine.
I bought one. And it’s the worst thing iv ever bought. I’m unfortunately now stuck with them due to them being so expensive. I can’t even lay on the sofa as design gives me neck ache. Can only just about sit on it ….
We love La-Z-Boy, my family, in Canada and the US really love the brand name,.But when we move to Texas La-Z-Boy store has note store will close. But now 5 years store still open. Look like a not respect customer. We bought Leather so the leather is cracking bad along. We never purchase any more in my life. La-Z-Boy leather furniture .So bad customer service.!

My really cool looking recliner I special ordered ( material, padding , swivel rocks and reclines took three months, but worth every minute I waited !

the foam gets soft ( sag ) within 2 years on lazyboy i like them own a recliner couch & chair just work on a more firm german-style foam in the future
Get off your wallet tough guy, and get the upgrade to tempur memory foam cushions...no more sag problems.

Back cushions on sofa began to sag after only 2 years.
The reviews in the UK are deplorable and you are not recommended at all.
