  • JACQUES ROUGEAU VS DYNAMITE KID FIGHT STORY - PART 3
This is the 3rd and final part of the most detailed interview ever with "The Mountie" Jacques Rougeau Jr. of the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers about his involvement in possibly the most brutal backstage fight in World Wrestling Federation (WWE) history against "The Dynamite Kid" Tom Billington of The British Bulldogs.

Iron Sheik "Rougeau I can't believe you come to the town of the guy you beat. You are my hero Rougeau you are my hero."
That bit about the Iron sheik was funny as fuck.

It's fascinating to learn how much his retaliation haunted Jacques. Having to look over your shoulder for years afterward is something that never occurred to me.

What a guy!! Jacques Rougeau tells a story better than most.
One of the best shoot stories for sure. Like that it goes full circle with the apology from Davey Boy.

What a great guy Jacques Rougeau is, loved listen to his story. I'm British and I'm glad what he did to Dynamite because he was nothing but a bully and a scumbag.
Jacques Rougeau deserve to be in the WWE Hall Of Fame.

Im a north west England guy. I live about ten miles from where dynamite was born and now lives. The bulldogs were heros to us. But even im glad jacq got the better of him. You can tell hes a decent guy who is telling no lies about what happened during this time. You can also tell from numerous stories from so many in the business back then, that dynamite was a bully, and bullys should and always do finish last.

That last story more or less sums up the wrestler mentality of decades gone by. The thought that wrestlers would even consider fighting someone they didn't like if they find out that said person was spotted in their hometown is something you don't expect now a days.

Excellent video, glad you brought it all to a conclusion now. Nice interview man, Jacques a classy guy. Its good to know he didn't live in fear his whole life and was man enough to do what he did and had pride looking out for himself as one should. Even if Iron-Sheik ribs him about it til this day heh.
Although i've heard over the years Vince got'em out of Survivor Series '88 quickly because he knew Dynamite wanted revenge and ordered them to leave since The Rougeau's were the first eliminated.

I understand it was like this:
Jacques sucker-punched him, but Dynamite deserved it, and Jacques was just 1 of many who would have deserved to be able to do it as Dynamite was a bully and an asshole to many but Jacques was the only ones with the stones to have done it, even if it was a sucker-shot deal followed by him taking off before Dynamite could react or retaliate.
