Great question. It looks as if this is normal behavior for sharing PPT within Teams. However, you can try either of these two things to help: 1. Add a transition/animation to the video so that it plays automatically when the slide starts (Transitions, Timing, With Previous) or 2. Share your desktop PPT application so that you can play the video for everyone. With this option, don't forget to also share system audio so students can hear the video as well.

How can I rectify that when my slide comes up with a video - that I can control it?
Great question. It looks as if this is normal behavior for sharing PPT within Teams. However, you can try either of these two things to help: 1. Add a transition/animation to the video so that it plays automatically when the slide starts (Transitions, Timing, With Previous) or 2. Share your desktop PPT application so that you can play the video for everyone. With this option, don't forget to also share system audio so students can hear the video as well.
Tks..how can i keep chat hidden from students pls
Hi! To do this, click on the three dots on the General Channel tab, and click" Manage Channel" From there, Manage the Permissions to say that "Only owners can post messages" This will disable students from posting on the Channel and chatting during class.
@@ClassPoint-Edcafe hey tks but i think my question is this if im to re phrase it pls..how do i prevent students from viewing my chat bar while im presenting pls.
@@amiwrong9152 I have not found a way or heard of a way to do this! You might have to disable the chat for every meeting and then turn it back on after wards if you only want to hide it from them during the meetings.
@@ClassPoint-Edcafe tks and appreciate your response..A Tip : for the moment im trying this by loging in wz both phone and pc to the meeting where i can revert from phone.

So, what are the consequences of the mandatory 365 account? I have always tried to stay away from it, because it is a lousy deal. I already have the microsoft Office package (Word/Excell/PowerPoint/Publisher) - so no need to keep paying forever for the same software.
Hi there! You can use a free version of Teams on your own if you are not interested in Office 365. For differences between the free version of Teams and Teams with Office 365, check this out: support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/differences-between-microsoft-teams-and-microsoft-teams-free-0b69cf39-eb52-49af-b255-60d46fdf8a9c.
Don't forget that Microsoft has plenty of offers for education and nonprofits that can give you access to Office 365 for free.

What if ya don't want it share your while desktop with the students?? I appreciate your video, but it seems something isn't right here being in contact with students 24 hours a day!! Teachers are not supposed to have any contact with students outside of the classroom
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
