The way you teach us very simple and effective. most of the others they speck and do it very quickly. so i dont understand. zour video is awesome and thank zou
Glad to hear that! Also I have moved all of my new videos over to my new HTG Photo channel here www.youtube.com/@HTGPhoto. The old stuff will be remaining on this channel.
Very well-done Tutorial! Excellent! Easy to follow - step by step! I have bookmarked your video for future reference. I used this to create my TH-cam Logo! (I'm switching out the US Flag Logo to one that focuses what the videos are about - Die Cast Scale Model Building.) Thank you. I also subscribed to catch more of your videos!
Marvellous. I particularly liked the use of the Control command on the 'There you are' text. Not sure if you had not already covered that in a previous tutorial - senior moment!
Hi Peter, I did a couple of versions of the round text previously. The last one didn't require flipping the text, so that was not part of the project and the version before that was quite a while ago in an earlier version of PSE where the ctrl trick would not work. The last version did have a nice discussion of using symbols around a circle, here is the link th-cam.com/video/3_Yb9m470DM/w-d-xo.html George
George, best explanation on how to handle this issue on the web!!!! Thanks for tackling this, I have been successful creating this effect in the past, however it took a lot of time and still is not perfect. I like your style because it is now just a matter of steps in a process. Thank you for that! One question, do the folks who use regular photoshop have any easier time doing this same effect? It would seem like it is a bit complicated doing this effect, was wondering if everyone had the same issues with this kind of type? Thank you for all you do! Rich
Hi Rich, this technique is basically the same way it is handled in Adobe Photoshop. It would be nice if there were two tools, one for text outside a shape and one for text inside a shape but unfortunately that is not how things are. George
Make sure you are using the Text on a Shape tool, click into the text, hold the ctrl key down, pull the text down to the bottom. That should work, I was unable to bring up a menu no matter what I tried so no idea how that could be happening.
Question. On the multiple layers... is there a way to save that as a working file so you can go back at a later date to make changes, rather than start all over again? (p.s. - my circle logo you see here is one I did following your tutorial!)
@@HTGGeorge Thanks again for your help. I have another question. Every time I select new Image, the image window goes to the desktop, and I have to drag it into the application. It used to appear in the application automatically. Am I missing a configuration?
I"ve been going through your Photshop Elements 2018 Training DVD. It is very comprehensive. In your information about the Help Menu you mention that a download of the User Guide is not available. This is still the case. However, I think I've stumbled across User Guides for the Editor, Organizer and Premiere. helpx.adobe.com/pdf/photoshop-elements_reference.pdf for the Editor helpx.adobe.com/pdf/elements-organizer_reference.pdf for the Organizer helpx.adobe.com/pdf/premiere-elements_reference.pdf for Premiere I'm not sure if you became aware of these after the DVD was produced. This is the information incase you haven't. Note: Your link for sending Email doesn't work for me. My Windows 10 system wants information which was not clear to me. I couldn't find a specific Email address that I could use. I also have How To Improve Your Photographs with PSE that I look forward to getting into. Thank you for producing great training videos.
Hi Rich, thanks for the links, I was unable to find them when I recorded PSE 2018 last year, possibly they were uploaded later. The PDF downloads are much better than the online help at Adobe. You can find my email address on the About page in my TH-cam channel. George
Thanks! I always say you can do it cheaper for yourself. Now all you need to do is to use the money you are saving and get my training course for Photoshop Elements and you will quickly be an expert. George

Sure, just save the file in the default psd file format and you can go back at any time and do more editing
