this may be controversial but i hope genshin never does vocal tracks for the common bgm, to be honest. They only use vocal tracks within context-- whenever an actual character is singing, or representative of their singing, like with the fatui bosses and that makes the moments all the more impactful and meaningful. If they did the same thing as the honkai games with singing osts for many major cutscenes these scenes wouldnt hit as hard.
Even after the Honkai series popularity. I think Genshin is still the most aesthetically pleasing game that Mihoyo have created with all of its grandeur, from graphics, gameplay, open world prowess, incorporating different cultures and ofcourse the music! 🎵
honkai is for wibu and nerds. only with genshin that hoyo got mainstream popularity especially among international gamer. plus genshin as open map game will forever be superior than honkai turn based mechanic. i always see honkai in ads but never quite like the game. but somehow genshin has attracted me and millions of other players to play the game. and usually the ads of honkai and honkai itself only has women as playable characters. that alone scream wibu.lol

And then there is turn-based Honkai Star Rail, wich no, it doesnt have just women. You cant judge two games as if they where 1 and before even actually knowing them, man.

I'm not one of those who cry easily and even so I didn't do it in the mission "masquerade of the guilty" and in the legendary mission of Furina but both of them made me sad and knowing how I am, that implies that both are very well written missions in such a way that it manages to convey what it is looking for in an effective way to the player.

honkai (impact) for me will always have a better story (some arcs legit broke me in that game) but i do have to agree genshin just looks better
