Love the H22/lude content. I helped my buddy put together and install a turbo kit on his 5th gen. We were able to keep p/s and a/c with a log manifold. Obviously a log mani is not as efficient, but for low boost on a stock block it worked well.
I have jun high lift cams, adjustable timing gears, titanium valve springs and retainers, bronze phosphorous valve guides, sleeved block, bearings ,rods and prisons with no turbo, I never got the Honda data, stage 2 clutch, lighten fly wheel, deleted balance shafts, I always wanted to tune it/get the cpu but times are hard lol . 95 Honda prelude h22 from Toronto
Your wastegate came stock with a 7lb spring. It's not the wastegate restricting pressure. It's the boost controller. The vacuum line on the turbo needs to just get capped and then run a vacuum from the wastegate to the intake manifold.
Wastegate came with 3 different springs. The boost controller worked fine. Lol I'm not new to building cars. You might want to double check your set up if that's how your running your car.
Sounds like you going for a nice build bro. It’s a lot of folks not trynna go crazy, but, trynna improve for the sake of like you said dependability. Hoping to learn from this one 👀
@treybedipping1734 So, any advice on dropping a tranny on a Gen 5? Everybody's talking about taking out subframe and axles and I would just as soon not do that if I don't have to 🤣
Hey man, I’m thinking abt like how the manifold is, do u know the dimensions, or would I just give it to a fab guy and tell him to make it so it fits ps and ac
What ignition cables are those? Ive been wanting to upgrade my Hseries ive recently aquired. Im new to the H series motors. Im usually a D series boy lol
I have a RHD ej1 with the H series. Literally no room so im thinking boost is out of the question going to keep it all motor. I fell in love with these torque monsters 😅
Hey man wantin to do stock with turbo. Engine builder more or less called me an idiot as he wanted 8k to build. Engine out and brought to him Thoughts?
It all depends on what your power goals are. If your only looking for 280-320 stock is fine with good tune. 8k seems a little steep. If you do a closed deck motor you can just do rods and pistons for like $2500 or less
Im just gunna tell you right now that you don't want a boost controller with that low of pressure. That's why you spent money on the wastegate, the spring regulates the pressure. I got a boosted 4th gen f22a1. It's been boosted for over 6 years. Your h22 should sound way better than that....it's not getting into boost like it should.
Just rewatched the whole series since I’ve been doing research on my build! Always cool to see updates
Yea bro I'll have a full breakdown once the build is done.

@patrickantiarrhythmickerce. What log mani do you guys use ?
I like the cast iron log mani's. I feel like the exhaust gases are more direct instead of the ram mani

Naaaaa your showing that h22 only got 205hp with 8lbs of boost? Dude my f22 is at 250hp at 8lbs. There's no way that setup is right.
@@ludelife3962 it only made 5 lbs and its an awd dyno add 10-11% for the correction
Ohhh yesssss Bro ! she sounds soooo nice !! Can't wait to see more on this build.
Thanks bro 🙏🏽
Sick , I been wanting to do my stock h series turbo but i doubt my stock ringlands , but this is giving me hope . Can’t wait for the next vid!
Thanks for watching bro

Where do you get your manifolds made? Been looking for one so I can turbo my prelude
This one is made by 850fab you can find them on facebook
Do you have a link to the manifold or a list of the parts you used for your build
@kenyonharris6295 no link but 850 fab made it find him on fb
I did 289 on 10 12 psi... Yours can do a lil more
I'm buying a '97 this is exactly what I want to do

she sounds good. nice clean pulls. why you did not get a Mac valve for the boost control.
I was being hard headed lol

Bro where did you get the h22 motor from?..I need one for my prelude my block destroyed
They are getting harder and harder to find to be honest. Best bet is look on fb market and find a motor or find one and rebuild it
