Awesome set up!! Thanks for all the info. FYI I see you have both antennas sticking out parallel? I’m sure you’re not concerned about range but I think they’re supposed to be 90° from each other.
@ yea duh, I should have figured u knew that already. Sorry. lol I was thinking about building a drag car. But with how cheap it is to get insane power these days I can’t convince myself I’ll be able to get traction without weighing the car down
I found if you shave of the lip on the esc tray just a bit you can fit the XLX2 pretty straight. I have it that way in my infraction and limitless. Great video
Are you really using that as a drag car? You would have fun building a real drag truck/car, unless you have already done it before? I have two drag trucks… Losi and Traxxas… I’ve built them kind of here and there… they both would smoke that car on 2s… if I throw a 3s battery in it would blow your mind…
@@RC-Closer1313 yeah I’m not really into the 2WD drag cars. To easy…wanted to build something that would be a challenge. Eventually it will most likely end up on foams and need some serious prep. This is all just testing right now.
Pretty rad video dude!!!
@@saaarrruhhh we are having fun!!!
Great, build love the video.
Keep it up.
Love watching.
@@curtiswilliams4501 greatly appreciated!!! We are learning more and having a blast!!

@@Raven77m yes they are normally 90 for more range. Since this drag not worried about it. My infraction and speed runners are set as 90

@ haha… I haven’t added any weight yet…I’m trying not to. If I want to go faster it will need a little weight possibly and tire prep for sure.
Nice I like the shock trick for the shaft I seen another guy use small fuel line and put over shaft to shorten it what we're those washers u used ....
@@JmanRc they are just an 8-32 nylon washer. I get them in different thickness to tune the height
Get ur some BSR foam tires, double pinks, or 25 shore. U going to need prep & a wheelie bar.. No locker. 500k in both diff's
@@bojones1709 don’t plan to use prep..want to keep it a dry tire build. I blew through the 500k diff so it definitely needs the lockers

Hey bro, the make tire bands that hold the tire on perfect while the glue dries… they work awesome
Use 25shore FOAM TIRES! You'll thank me later. 💪🏿
Whats the gearing?? I put a center spool and a million weight front and rear with foam tires and it launches straight as a arrow
@@anthonysmith9765 a lot!! Haha. It goes straight now that I’m using the traction control on the radiolink and diff lockers front and rear.
