We set a goal of finally driving an R/C car over 100 Mph.. so in my opinion this is the best rig to achieve this goal. We build it up gave it paint job and then give it a proper speed run just on 4s to test it and came away very impressed, but before we take to the next level a little adjustment is needed stay tuned 100mph+ speed run is coming very soon.

Cool video, I'm debating if i want a Limitless V2 or an Infraction V2 6s and modify it to run 8s but currently i need to get my new O8S EXB running. Unfortunately don't have a great speedrun location and i mostly bash so i might get an Infraction or modify a Limitless into a street basher. Hope you get to the 100+ MPH club if you already have that's awesome.
I did just recently joined the 100 mph club and only on 6s on the limitless v2 need more room for an 8s run I would get the infraction and convert to 8s that will be enough to get you to 100 and it’s already setup for street bashing I will have an infraction or a felony in fleet sometime in the future..👊🏻

Joe, motor specs say its 47.3 mm, any reason you got the 40-42 motor mount instead of the 47-48 ? (1717 1650 motor)
@@jlmoreno7912 that the mount that came with the kit it fit the 1650 perfectly

I tape it against the esc and the esc mount with double sided tape
Great video would love to know where you got the fan for the motor
I got it from my local hobby shop now i see it on eBay without the heat sink mine came as combo but maybe check the power hobby store

Just bought my v2 last week.
Haven’t decided what motor or esc to put in it yet.
I’m like you aiming for 100.
What other cheaper options for motors and esc would you suggest?
Could I just leave the stock gearing spool and be ok for 100?
Yes the stock spool and gearing will get you to 100 easy a good cheap options will be the spectrum 1250 kv with 160 amp 8s esc will get you over 100 for sure and it won’t break the bank but if u want 120 plus get a castle system I just hit 103 on 6s with my castle set up check out my other video 👍🏻👊🏻

Would EZRUN max 5 fit?
I have seen people put xlx2 in the v2 should I would imagine the max 5 would fit but I’m not 100% sure 🤷♂️

Sup man just got a v2 limitless. I wanna keep it 6s. Would be happy with hitting 85-90. Would like to bash it more than speed run it. What combo do u recommend n what gearing?
For bashing I would go with the spectrum 1250 kv and 160 amp esc u can run in 8s if u want and maybe hit 105 and on 6 s you will 85 just h🥲gear it right a good affordable system for bashing min gearing for the v2 is 32t let me know how it goes when u build it 👊🏻

This is fast enough, but I bought 2028 1100 Kv for my limitless v2, I don't know how it turns out.
It will be more than fast enough and with the right gearing it will be over 100 easily

@@Joercgarage All the parts arrived but 34 tooth pinion is too short for 2028 I ordered 39 tooth for it, it takes 1-2 days for delivery

How many cans of paint did you use for your body?
I was wondering 2-3?
I did 2 for the main coat and one was not enough for me
What does 4s and 6s mean?
4s and 6s is the amount of cells in the lipo batteries this car is 8s capable so I can run it on two 4s lipo for 8s so for this run it was just 4s
i dont want to wreck, drives it first time out in a shit industrial park with on grade sewer drains....
Yeap I have since found a better area I wasn’t expecting 80 plus mph on 4s but I was happy
