I used it a lot and i love it, but Striga and Hypnosis are quite similar in range and damage and i prefer Hypnosis. If you are good timing the shot it deals a ton of damage, so Hypnosis wins. If you are not very good with the timing or aiming to weakspots, Striga will be better. For secondary i really like Midas, very good automatic rifle for medium to close range, or if you prefer Echo shotgun is good aswell. The most important thing is to enjoy the game with what you are comfortable with, so have fun mate!
@James10411 I think the reload on the shotguns is quite slow, so haven't used them very long. Still wish the damage drop-off for all guns wasn't so extreme.
I maxed out every single thing available in the game and Striga is by FAR the best weapon in the game for a few reasons. No need to be accurate, just aim a little bit above their heads from far aways and it will do a ton of damage, fire damage and lightining damage. Combined with Madwoman this thing obliterates everything around in 2 shots and it can do up to 700 damage to stunned elites (it has high stun)...also VERY VERY VERY ammo efficient...you'll never run out of ammo, and you'll melt bosses pretty fast WITHOUT having to aim down sights....ever. Midas or Ricochet goes well along with Striga. Stormball,Fire Stake,Madwoman,Elixir Fetish and any ring of your choice (fire ring not needed since you're gonna be using the stake). Yes,Hypnosis also does alot of damage and it's pretty good too BUT...by the time you aim down sight, charge and manage to hit 3 crits in a row with Hypnosis to get the T3 bonus(if you can),you already killed 10 enemies or more with the Striga,or did 3 times the damage to a boss. The only bad side is that at close or medium range you won't be doing the T2 or T3 bonus with the Striga...that's when the Midas,Ricochet,Echo or Rotweaver shines.

Do you like the Striga?

Striga is actually a late game weapon that is given to you early during early access, it wont be there after gnosis 1 when the game releases
Yeah it's amazing, so glad they gave this benefit.
the nodules turn into woodsman on approaching - they atart spawn as game levels up hopefully you havent put any points into last 2 stats -
Thank you for pointing that out. Which 2 stats are you referring to?
