I loved the looks of both the Gen 2 and Gen 3 Honda's but this kit really looks awesome. I cannot believe how many little brackets or plates are needed to make this work but the detail is outstanding. Well done !!
think of doing all this to make ur slow bike look cool even though you suck at riding and ur bike is so slow even if you were fast you could still not go fast
Back of the classroom buddy you’re in time out, I have to say thank you because outta all the mean comments I’ve seen this one hands down was the funniest 😂
This video is very satisfying to watch great angles ! You’re super underrated, you’re gonna blow up one of these days. Thank you for the quality content 👍🏼
It feels good on the track, still feels solid. It didn’t make the bike too wide, it’s super skinny still. Only complaint is that the seat is absolutely rock solid, so going into corners when you sit it feels like you’re on a 2x4
Curious as to what you did with the forks on your bike? Been trying to figure out if I should do a front end swap to the newer crf platform or send the forks out to Pro Circuit. Bike looks great, it’s been on my to-do list even before tx race put out the kit lol
So this bike was actually my buddies bike that I was doing the conversion on, and the forks were bone stock. But, I did ride this bike and the front end had a lot of room to improve. I've seen a lot of people do the newer front end swap on the CR's and they love it. I believe the newer Hondas have a bit more of a rake that really helps with handling
@@ChaseBuiltBikes yeah the 00-01 cr125’s are regarded to having jack hammer front ends that even the racing teams had a hard time with. Saw the decals on the forks and thought they’d been done, or possibly it was a swap. Might have to look into a swap, since it could be cheaper/more effective than revalved/rebuilt forks. Thanks for the response!
Thank you! If you want to restyle it, your best bet is TXRACE. If you’re just looking for original but new plastics, you could go with UFO plastics and get replacement plastics for your bike.
@IvanLaverde-td9sm TX RACE is your best bet. They come with all the brackets you need for running new style plastics, so all plastics are bolted with all the bolts
The TX race kit comes with shroud graphics, but for all other graphics you’d get your normal 250f graphics and may have to do some slight modding and cutting
Does the bike run different after install?Im interested in buying a kit for my CR but I heard that since the air box is more cutoff that the bike runs like shit

Thank you! It does look really nice if you want to restyle your old Honda. But I do agree with you the older bikes have a charm to them!
slowest most useless 125 ever made ...good choice

Sick video! Love the varied camera angles.
Did you try it out on the track? How does it feel with all the brackets and new plastics?

Bonjours tout les support sont fournie ? Celui de la seat et aussi les plaque noir ? Merci
Everything is provided in the kit! It comes with all brackets, bolts, and the new seat.
Son plásticos originales con los adaptadores ?!
Todos los plásticos vienen con el kit, todo es nuevo
where do i find all the extras for it please ?

@@a_gill242 you're welcome! Good luck on the swap. Would be sweet to find a part out or something like that.

I' Ve git a cr 250 1998. Is available a kit for mine?
Thanks a lot for the answer
@@cesaremileto1784 TX Race offers a restyle kit for your bike, it will be for a 1998-1999
@@ChaseBuiltBikes thanks a lot.

where can I buy these plastic mounts, because I can't find them?
The mounts come with the Tx race kit, which comes with plastics, the mounts, and the bolts
Brackets and plates are include in the kit?
@@SoaR_006 yes they are
@ thanks
@SoaR_006 no problem!

OK perfect. the problem lies in the supports for placing the new plastics.

You didn't even get a small sticker set with it,because it says so on the website?
It does come with shroud graphics and front fender graphics. I just didnt install them in this video.

The TX kit is clean!
Thank you!! It means a lot coming from you!
nice video I love the rendering of the bike
I wanted to know if this tx race kit raises the seat compared to the origin
The seat sits about in the same spot. It may raise just a bit, due to the new seat being so hard. The new seat is much thinner than the old seat.
I have the Polisport restyle kit and regret it, may sell it for one of these or go back to stock. This one looks way better
The seat is included in the kit??
Yes it is!
Does the bike run different after install?Im interested in buying a kit for my CR but I heard that since the air box is more cutoff that the bike runs like shit
I’m not sure on a stock bike. This bike actually has a lectron on it so it self meters. It seems to run just the same
Link please?🙏
No problem! I can’t link in the comments, I put the link in the description.
Dope & the music was 🔥 too
Thank you, much appreciated!
@@ChaseBuiltBikes you're welcome
Original plastics are timeless on the 125 in my opinion cool though
Does the kit come with the brackets used in the video
Yes it does, it comes with every bracket and bolt needed.
Super sick
Happy to see my old bike living a good life! LET ER RIP! 😎
Oh absolutely, she flies!
Seat looks thin though..
It’s very thin and hard as a rock
@@ChaseBuiltBikes Thanks for the input.
@@GearheadRob319 No worries! The in my opinion my least favorite part of the kit. I think when the seat gets broken in it will get better
