i have a feeling that producers added in the callback cards in season 2 as a way to not only bring back dancers who were eliminated and create more suspense for the season, but also as a way for them to create more drama. regardless of who the card was used on it would create drama bc it means that the kid has more pressure on them but it also gives the moms more reason to fight each other. even if the mom wasn’t generally a person who created drama (like kira), it created drama since abby said she wouldn’t use the card but then used it to bring kalani back. this also furthered the narrative that kalani was abbys favorite and received special treatment. while i believe that abby genuinely wanted kalani back in the competition, i think the producers saw it a great opportunity to stir up some drama. i def could be wrong, but it’s just some food for thought
i totally agree. the call back card was an un-needed thing to add to the show, i feel like it was totally just for drama. abbys the first to say no second chances, so i feel that abby had little say in the call back card adding onto the show.
It doesn’t surprise me that Jojo’s Mom didn’t talk to her about the show before sending in a tape. She’s a show mom and they typically go to any length to get they’re kid famous.
I don’t see an issue with it tbh. Jess probably didn’t even expect JoJo to get in. JoJo wasn’t the most technically advanced dancer. Hess probably just thought it’d be worth a shot. And I’m sure it was a fun surprise for JoJo, since she loved Dance Moms and actually enjoyed being on AUDC.
Now I’m curious about the other spin off Abby’s Studio Rescue. I’m going say that producers made up all that drama as well between the owner and Abby. I don’t know though that series actually seemed real. But I agree this show was probably staged as much as the original series Keep up the good work.
i watched abby’s studio rescue at my dance intensive and it’s so fake my one dance teacher was in one of the episodes and she said it was fake and 90% of the drama was fake and they actually had a good studio and just wanted more clout (idk how to describe it)
Yvette is actually a really sweet lady. I used to live close by her dance studio and my mom was mutual friends with her because she worked at a shop owned by a mom who had a daughter that danced there, and she was close with Yvette. My mom would hear stories all the time about things producers did to incite drama and crazy ways they have edited situations on the show. I also had a friend at school who was on her competition team and had nothing but nice things to say about her.
Yvette seems like such a misrepresented person. She seemed so optimistic and sweet, yet her constant smiling and laughing made people think that she was a fake person.
@@MackZBoss true,i think the producers did that somehow like when she laughed at something bad when she stopped the camera man mustve moved the camera to a diffrent scene idk xD
Abby is the most money-hungry person I know, without wanting take any risk: three shows, everyone in Pennsylvania has to go to her studio, all the aldc girls has to have her as manager, all the merchandise must be under ALDC... But she sent her girl only to fake competitions because she was not able to make her studio the best in the U.S.A by herself, or maybe she was able but she didn't want to work on it. And, as it that weren't enough, instead of training her students, she always picked other studio's girls to pretend that her team was the best because of her.
Production sent them to staged invitationals a lot, later in the show, because the team had gotten banned from a lot of comps, after they had broken the rules by portraying one kid as beating another, when they actually both won their own age divisions.
My question is, why does Abby need so many shows for herself? I don’t think anyone even watches Abby’s studio rescue! And she puts the cast against each other in solos, so why would she need basically another competition that costs more money???
Can you make a conspiracy about Abby and Kelly’s relationship when Kelly was younger and how it contributed to how Abby treated Brooke and Paige? Edit: OMG I DID NOT EXPECT THE LIKES!!!
Panic_Potato * that’s not the reason she dislikes kelly though. kelly danced at the studio and ended up quitting at a young age and that was assumed to leave a bad taste in abby’s mouth.
the thing with gianna not training with abby, she lives in the philadelphia area (or near philly) which if you don’t know is on the other side of pennsylvania which can be between a 4-6 hour drive. so you expect her do go to your studio while living that far away. people really do underestimate the size of PA
Oh, I didn't realise! I'm from Western Australia, so every US state seems pretty small to me 😯. It's funny, because I think I recall Abby praising Pressley on her instagram saying that she drove over four hours to take class at the ALDC. I certainly hope Abby doesn't expect other students to show that much commitment.
MackZBoss oh it’s all good. i’m in the us and i live in the same state that presley and gia live in. i have driven a few times from when i live to pittsburgh for three different wedding and it’s been so long. philadelphia is right on the border of nj and pa on the east side and pittsburgh is thirty ish minutes away from ohio to the west. presley must be really committed because driving to abby’s from northern new jersey is really far.
EXACTLY!! I live in the Philadelphia area and going straight to the Pittsburgh studio from my house would take me over 4 hours. No WAY would I drive that far every day just to take classes w/Abby if I wasn’t on the show

One of the most unfair eliminations for me(outside of zack) has to be Jordyn. Her dance was the best from all of them (in my opinion) Amazing video again, showing the truth as it is
I grew up with jojo in Nebraska. Jess has ALWAYS been pushing jojo since day 1 for her to be famous. It was always her life goal for Jojo. Therefore, it doesn’t shock me at all that she didn’t ask before sending in the tape. Jess is living through jojo

When Zach got eliminated in season 1, thats when i realized how fake AUDC was. His improv and turns during the elimination dance off were SIGNIFICANTLY better than Elizabeth's. Her turns were fine, but she didn't improv, like, at all. She walked off stage and waved at the judges
Hi, I love your videos. Maybe it’s just me because English isn’t my first language - i’m French - but I can’t hear your voice that well because of the background music, it’s a tiny bit too loud. But as always, thanks for all these informations. Love how well-constructed your videos are! X
You can write pretty good English though. I started learning French this year-in school- and I can'rpt write what you wrote in French. And yes, I like French class. It is my favorite subject.
Love X Esmay not everyone watches for the dancing though. the drama will make you wanna see what happens next and stuff like that, hence why it’s there. if there was no drama, the show wouldn’t have made it this many seasons.
Gianna Newborg on AUDC was actually my favorite from the show! She's now a dancer for the NY Knicks and I was able to watch her dance at a game at Madison Square Garden :)
I think at the end of the day they do want to let the kids with the most talent win. That’s why 3/4 top contestants were relatively skilled dancers. However it’s also obvious that the dramafrogs with less skill make it through more than they should.
Hi I'm sooo early I love ur vids. I heard something on tik tok which could be useful for you! This girl posted syaing that when she was younger she got casted in candy apples for one episode but she was never on the team before.
Gianna was one of the best in season 2. Her mom wasn’t that bad. She was saying what the producers wanted her to and also just being honest a lot of the time.

Psych tests are VERY common with reality shows. I'm pretty sure they're mandatory to some degree, although I'm not certain if it's competition shows only, or if non-competitive (i.e. Dance Moms) require it. Asia was almost certainly not the only contestant who was given a test. The reason they're done almost all the time is less to protect the contestants and more to protect the show from liabilities, to say they did their due diligence before casting in case someone sues them. HOWEVER, the biggest problem with these tests is that they're actually too general and too easy. There's not a lot of regulation around them. Some reality show contestants report that it is very easy to fool the tests and tell them what they think they want to hear. They fail to truly account for everything a person will experience. Again, I'm not sure if they're mandatory for docu-style, but they are for competition shows. The problem is that they're designed to protect the show/prodco, not the contestants.
What I don’t understand is why can’t we let talent speak for itself? I understand ppl like the drama and it’s good for views and money, but we’re losing focus as to what it’s really about which is DANCE! this is so stupid and fabricated it makes me sick
Because then people wouldn't watch as much. These TV shows are designed to make money. Most people don't know about dance and will believe whatever the judges say- which is based on what the producers want.
Please make one about how the original 6 ALDC members made it on the show! How old were they when they first trained with Abby, when did they join the show, did they have any history with Abby?!
Good video ideas I would like to see: Abby and Kelly relationship when Kelly was little Abby’s other spin off Abby studio something Savanna and season 8 (I don’t think she was ever on the team) And Ashlee, Brynn and the other moms relationship
Just interesting to point out that along with Yvette joining the main show, Gianna mentioned in her main video about AUDC that she kept getting offers to do things for Dance Moms as well. Thought it was interesting that at least two of the "villians" were contacted afterwards to join Dance Moms
I just finished watching season 2 today! The theories were very interesting to see. One thing I never understood was that nobody commented on Travis/ Tyler's abilities in season 2. Although they were good, I'm surprised they lasted as long as they did (and none of the moms pointed out their lack of technique or performance). I think that Zack had better technique and performance quality than both of them yet he was eliminated very early in the competition (I know he was up against different dancers, but he should have stayed longer).
Can I suggest something for a future episode if you can find info about it? I’m a little confused with why Melissa reacted the way she did when her engagement got brought up? Keep up the good work! (If you have already covered this, please let me know what video to watch)
I loved Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition! Wish it ran for more than two seasons! I honestly would've taken a third season of this show than a season of Abby's Studio Rescue!
I realized that in Scary Sweetheart S7 many things happen.... First of all, the mums "attacking" Brynn. BUT the thing that caught my eye, is after the WHOLE competition, in the dressing room, Brynn (and everyone else) are wearing the group dance costumes. i have a feeling that producers added in the callback cards in season 2 as a way to not only bring back dancers who were eliminated and create more suspense for the season, but also as a way for them to create more drama. regardless of who the card was used on it would create drama bc it means that the kid has more pressure on them but it also gives the moms more reason to fight each other. even if the mom wasn’t generally a person who created drama (like kira), it created drama since abby said she wouldn’t use the card but then used it to bring kalani back. this also furthered the narrative that kalani was abbys favorite and received special treatment. while i believe that abby genuinely wanted kalani back in the competition, i think the producers saw it a great opportunity to stir up some drama.
i def could be wrong, but it’s just some food for thought
Anna McQueen I want to respond about something related to your comment but I’m too lazy to read it all 😭
i totally agree. the call back card was an un-needed thing to add to the show, i feel like it was totally just for drama. abbys the first to say no second chances, so i feel that abby had little say in the call back card adding onto the show.
I feel like another reason to send Kalani home was to try and push Abby to use the callback card and push their narrative of Kalani being favoured
@@tumblrgrl222 lol same
also, more callback cards means more episodes and more episodes means more views and more views means more 💵💵
It doesn’t surprise me that Jojo’s Mom didn’t talk to her about the show before sending in a tape. She’s a show mom and they typically go to any length to get they’re kid famous.
anastasiagirl1342 I know right? Just slimy
I think that she probably didn't even think she'd get in but she should have told jojo
She probably just did it for fun and was "like haha lets see if she gets in"
anastasiagirl1342 idk but maybe jojo wanted to but didn’t know that her mom actually did it
I don’t see an issue with it tbh.
But I agree this show was probably staged as much as the original series
Keep up the good work.
I was just thinking of this too! I’d love to see what that was all about. It was such a random show lol
Yeah I dont know what the point of that show was. It was just there
It's like the dance Kitchen Nightmares
Daniel Mackowiak i never heard of studio rescue
i watched abby’s studio rescue at my dance intensive and it’s so fake my one dance teacher was in one of the episodes and she said it was fake and 90% of the drama was fake and they actually had a good studio and just wanted more clout (idk how to describe it)
Yvette is actually a really sweet lady.
Honestly feel like yevette was just trolling for the show, like she put on an act for the drama
Trans girl Activist I agree. Kalani’s mom on Dance Moms seems to be faking too.
Wow, Yvette is nice?!
Am I the only person who liked gianna. I thought she was kind and she didn’t deserve so much hate because people didn’t like her mother.
No I liked gianna
i love gianna!
I loved Gianna she was my fave
I loved Gianna! I couldn't believe she didn't win, her final solo was breathtaking imo
It Stranger things life nope. She was my favorite person on the show (other than dancers)
When kalani got eliminated abby told her "i will see you dance someday" she KNEW that the producers would bring her on dance moms
Plus im only gonna guess she gets some money drom asias show every time her name gets said
Production sent them to staged invitationals a lot, later in the show, because the team had gotten banned from a lot of comps, after they had broken the rules by portraying one kid as beating another, when they actually both won their own age divisions.
This needs to be a Netflix series I swear so much effort are gone into these it's crazy 😳❤️
50k subs without any videos challenge Thank you so much! You're so kind 💕💕
My question is, why does Abby need so many shows for herself? I don’t think anyone even watches Abby’s studio rescue! And she puts the cast against each other in solos, so why would she need basically another competition that costs more money???
Hayley Byrne! She doesn’t need them lifetime does
Umm actually alot of people liked Abby's studio rescue.
Trans girl Activist I like Abby’s studio rescue more than dance moms and Audc and I kinda wish there had been another season
Alot of people watch it I'm sorry if you don't alot of people have many shows.
Wait? There's a studio rescue?? O.o
Can you make a conspiracy about Abby and Kelly’s relationship when Kelly was younger and how it contributed to how Abby treated Brooke and Paige?
Edit: OMG I DID NOT EXPECT THE LIKES!!!
iiMxntyLeaf yes
iiMxntyLeaf well basically kelly used to dance at abbys studio when she was younger so Abby just doesn’t like her or her kids
Yesss
Panic_Potato * that’s not the reason she dislikes kelly though. kelly danced at the studio and ended up quitting at a young age and that was assumed to leave a bad taste in abby’s mouth.
Kelly stole some guy from Abby while they were in high school 😂
the thing with gianna not training with abby, she lives in the philadelphia area (or near philly) which if you don’t know is on the other side of pennsylvania which can be between a 4-6 hour drive. so you expect her do go to your studio while living that far away. people really do underestimate the size of PA
No WAY would I drive that far every day just to take classes w/Abby if I wasn’t on the show
@@catherinemary2098 That's my state too! I also have cousins whose other side of the family lives in Pittsburgh.
Tbh the producers are rlly mean. They want drama, and it has caused stress on the dancers AND the mothers.
Obviously the producers didn’t tell the cast that Abby was going to be there ,cause if they did then everyone would have just ran out of there 😂
OMG now i just realised how fake this show was
(I am not saying everything about this show is fake I’m just saying that sometimes it can be a bit fake. Of course there are some really nice moments that are amazing and I respect that)
amelia rose But 5:08 that was not fake and im not being rude or anything i just found that moment so heart warming didnt u
The part wher he walked her in
I found this show so much more compelling and fun to watch than some of the later seasons of Dance Moms
One of the most unfair eliminations for me(outside of zack) has to be Jordyn. Her dance was the best from all of them (in my opinion)
Amazing video again, showing the truth as it is
I grew up with jojo in Nebraska. Jess has ALWAYS been pushing jojo since day 1 for her to be famous. It was always her life goal for Jojo. Therefore, it doesn’t shock me at all that she didn’t ask before sending in the tape. Jess is living through jojo
I feel like this show should have been a t.v show with characters and a script rather then a reality show because that would have been more realistic
Cheyenne Cora Ikr? If it was a scripted series with fictional characters, there would be less online hate and the kids wouldn't be as hurt.
Thx so much for doing these they are so interesting and give so much more info about the show

Cindy was represented as a villain? She was deadass the funniest person on the show by far 😂
absolutely love this series!
When Zach got eliminated in season 1, thats when i realized how fake AUDC was. His improv and turns during the elimination dance off were SIGNIFICANTLY better than Elizabeth's. Her turns were fine, but she didn't improv, like, at all. She walked off stage and waved at the judges
Why did I not know this existed...

Hi, I love your videos. Maybe it’s just me because English isn’t my first language - i’m French - but I can’t hear your voice that well because of the background music, it’s a tiny bit too loud. But as always, thanks for all these informations. Love how well-constructed your videos are! X
Je ne suis pas la seule française 😊
I don't think it's the music what's the problem but that she speaks sooooo soft that her voice kinda feels like it goes away at times
You can write pretty good English though. I started learning French this year-in school- and I can'rpt write what you wrote in French. And yes, I like French class. It is my favorite subject.
omgg moi aussi putain jme sentais seuleeeeeee
When will the producers finally understand we don't watch for the drama but actually for the dancing
Love X Esmay not everyone watches for the dancing though. the drama will make you wanna see what happens next and stuff like that, hence why it’s there. if there was no drama, the show wouldn’t have made it this many seasons.
Omg yes. I watched this competition to pretend I was apart of it
If the producers cut out the drama and only kept the dancing. This show wouldn’t be as successful
Gianna Newborg on AUDC was actually my favorite from the show! She's now a dancer for the NY Knicks and I was able to watch her dance at a game at Madison Square Garden :)
I get so excited to see you pop up on my front page! Thanks for making awesome content for all of us and putting in work for evidence!

oh my God yes yes yes yes yesss!!! i was waiting for a new episodeeee!!!
I get so excited when a new one of these comes out 😁
I mean in the second season of AUDC Trinity’s mom didn’t cause much drama at all, but Trinity was in the top 3.
Maybe they only judged her on her talent?? But you’re right, it’s weird
They have to have that one kid that is not dramatic so they don’t look suspicious
Ilsen Leon yeah
I think at the end of the day they do want to let the kids with the most talent win. That’s why 3/4 top contestants were relatively skilled dancers. However it’s also obvious that the dramafrogs with less skill make it through more than they should.
maybe because trinity won so many challenges and her mom had a lot of power
Hi I'm sooo early I love ur vids. I heard something on tik tok which could be useful for you! This girl posted syaing that when she was younger she got casted in candy apples for one episode but she was never on the team before.
Your voice is so calming I even listen to you while doing school work-
Gianna was one of the best in season 2. Her mom wasn’t that bad. She was saying what the producers wanted her to and also just being honest a lot of the time.
I have been watching this series since day one and it gives me a whole different perspective of Dance Moms that I never knew. Thank you for making this series and keeping me entertained during this time. I just had to get it out there.

I have been doing NOTHING but binge watching your DM videos.😍
I can’t watch these shows anymore like I used too. For a good reason tho!!
Most people don't know about dance and will believe whatever the judges say- which is based on what the producers want.
most viewers aren't watching for dance, they watch for drama. it only seems like we only want dance because we're apart of the fandom
niara it’s sad
They need new producers and someone that can force abby to behave
Yvette was def the villain😂😭
Your videos are so well made!
i’ll say asia handled the stress of the show better than most of the older kids
Another amazing video 💖❤️

MackZBoss, you’ve done it again. Great video!
Please make one about how the original 6 ALDC members made it on the show! How old were they when they first trained with Abby, when did they join the show, did they have any history with Abby?!
I love your idea about all kids being evaluated and so on while on the show

I hope you continue making these videos their amazing, and so interesting

Good video ideas I would like to see:
Abby and Kelly relationship when Kelly was little
Abby’s other spin off Abby studio something
Savanna and season 8 (I don’t think she was ever on the team)
And Ashlee, Brynn and the other moms relationship
also one of the competitions mari’s mom, gina, is a judge i just think it’s so weird how she was a dance mom judging a competition
You put so much effort in to researching and you make all your vids sooo interesting!
Thank you! Your channel is amazing !
Do more of these! We love it!
Just interesting to point out that along with Yvette joining the main show, Gianna mentioned in her main video about AUDC that she kept getting offers to do things for Dance Moms as well. Thought it was interesting that at least two of the "villians" were contacted afterwards to join Dance Moms
Love your series soooo much❤️
I just finished watching season 2 today!
Gianna is from the eastern side of PA, and Pittsburgh is on the western side. It's like a 6-hour drive
your my new therapist
Can I suggest something for a future episode if you can find info about it? I’m a little confused with why Melissa reacted the way she did when her engagement got brought up? Keep up the good work! (If you have already covered this, please let me know what video to watch)

I realized that in Scary Sweetheart S7 many things happen.... First of all, the mums "attacking" Brynn. BUT the thing that caught my eye, is after the WHOLE competition, in the dressing room, Brynn (and everyone else) are wearing the group dance costumes. BUT when they ask Brynn and Yadie what happened backstage, they are both wearing their scary sweetheart costumes... Like WHAT??
Who remembers Abby’s Studio Rescue?
