Chloe should have been a ballerina. I’ll stand by this for my entire life. She has the natural build for a ballerina, y’all and skinny. Beautiful technique for being taught by Abby, who isn’t the best technique teacher. Had Christi put Chloe into ballet school as opposed to Abby’s, Chloe wouldn’t be famous. But she’d still be dancing and likely would become a famous ballerina.

She would need a loooooot of help tho. All the ALDC dancers developed bad habits when working with Abby. Little things like posture, relevé and leg placement in turns are all things Chloe lacked. I know technique isn’t just turns but Chloe was a turner so I suggest she had fix her habits before entering a professional ballet school. Chloe should’ve also worked on her face when she danced. She was BORING.

It's one thing when it's adults signing a contract and it's their lives, they're old enough to understand what they're getting into, and it's still not right for them to be exploited and manipulated and coerced. But kids, when those children were what, 7-10 years old at the start, and the producers want drama.. refuse opportunities for them, refuse to let them leave, messing up their chances, their lives, whilst instigating drama to upset them and stress them out... who the f*** does that to kids?

When my grandma had knee surgery, she was up and walking the same day... I was told you were supposed to get up and start working it little by little so it doesn't lock up. Maybe not stand for three hours no but i don't know what surgery she had I'm not her doctor it could have been different for her 🤷

Abby’s contract was different from the mom’s and dancer’s contract. She had to do 1-7 seasons and if the producers wanted her to she was required to do an eighth season as well. So she couldn’t just leave or not return after season seven.

I love how people are so quickly to point the finger at the cast for their actions, behavior and other things such as costumes or set pieces. Instead of blaming the cast we should blame the producers for a lot of the problems on the show. Don’t get me wrong you need a little drama in the show to make it interesting. However I’ve learned that the producers of this show are horrible monsters. Some of these people should not be allowed to work with kids again. I mean how low do you have to be just to ruin a kids chance at something or make someone look bad
Facts. The producers literally made Gianina (a season 8 dancer) look like a brat in the begging of the season and she received a lot of hate for it, but if you browse her personal channel she seems sweet and she cares about her fans a lot. Definitely not a brat.
They are still largely responsible for their actions, especially the moms in the later seasons who knew what Abby was like prior to signing their contracts and did so anyway.

Sometimes it’s hard to sympathize with Abby but I truly believe the producers sent her into a downward spiral of craziness. She was so unhappy with the show and it came out in her behavior and emotions each day. Essentially she was going to a job she hated with terrible bosses and that’s never a good situation for anyone.
She loves teaching dance that is her life. Abby got extremely screwed over and used. Melissa used her badly. The TV show and producers did end up causing stress on Abby and she had no clue what was going on sometimes and she didn't have a Lawyer of her own. I love Abby. I understand her. So much happened to Abby and on top of it Melissa scammed and got immunity. So much. Things could have been so much better if Abby had control over her Own show.

Abby is an acro teacher,ballet is really not her thing however she coreographs a lot of lyrical because that is what tends to do better at competitions
standing on a knee that recently had surgery is really bad, I damaged my knee when I was little and after I was given surgery I wasn't allowed to move it for a week and was in a wheelchair for several months to make sure I wasn't putting weight on it.
I know I had surgery on my knee too and I was bed bound the night after and I could barely put any weight on my bad leg and I had to be in a wheelchair for a few days before using crutches

I think that would be a long bow to draw because it is really normal for many kids to lose interest in their hobbies during adolescence. They discover other interests, not just the ones their mothers picked for them and at the elite level the activity no longer becomes a game, but a lot of hard work that only gets harder.
Honestly you’ve done a great job getting all these facts out there in the public... people should know the truth about the show. I agree with what others have commented on, that these producers should NEVER legally be allowed to work with children ever again.... I understand parents wanting their kids to be the best, but this show is ruining life’s not helping them.

@hi my names CATRINA • i'm not sure, because it seems that different mums tried to left the show before the end of their contracts (kelly, jill, christy) but they weren't allowed. The only one who could do it was Jojo because in California it is forbidden to force a minor to continue a job if he does not want to. This should mean California protects minors, but Pennsylvania forces them to meet contract deadlines.
The fact that dancers had to dance while they were injured is insane they need time to rest let them do that so they don’t permanently injure it then can never dance again.

when i first started watching dance moms a while ago, it seemed like the perfect show even through all the arguing. the kids had multiple opportunities and had (has) millions of followers on their instagram accounts. but as i watch these episodes of “uncovering dance moms” i realize how staged and disgusting the show was. imo, the show damaged the kids childhood from the pressure and long hours of shooting. maddie, chloe, paige, and other cast members seem much better now that they’re off the shoe, which im glad abt. i cant seem to trust abby tho. idk if shes the victim or vice versa. also, the producers always seemed sketchy to me 🙄

Had Christi put Chloe into ballet school as opposed to Abby’s, Chloe wouldn’t be famous.

Abby is an acro teacher,ballet is really not her thing however she coreographs a lot of lyrical because that is what tends to do better at competitions
standing on a knee that recently had surgery is really bad, I damaged my knee when I was little and after I was given surgery I wasn't allowed to move it for a week and was in a wheelchair for several months to make sure I wasn't putting weight on it.
I know I had surgery on my knee too and I was bed bound the night after and I could barely put any weight on my bad leg and I had to be in a wheelchair for a few days before using crutches

If I remember correctly Abby didn’t want the dancers to do opportunities so they could they focus on dance but Maddie only was allowed to do opportunities so I think the producers had a hand in that

The contracts was really cruel, but I feel like it was the mother’s mistake that they even signed up for a contract like this. It makes me wonder if they just did it for money at first.
I remember Christi saying she never expected for Dance Moms to continue for as long as it did. So, probably none of the moms or girls thought the show would go as long as it did. Plus, it’s good to remember that these people were just average people from Pittsburgh. I’m sure they didn’t know what they were doing at the time.

I think that would be a long bow to draw because it is really normal for many kids to lose interest in their hobbies during adolescence. They discover other interests, not just the ones their mothers picked for them and at the elite level the activity no longer becomes a game, but a lot of hard work that only gets harder.

Honestly you’ve done a great job getting all these facts out there in the public... people should know the truth about the show. I agree with what others have commented on, that these producers should NEVER legally be allowed to work with children ever again.... @hi my names CATRINA • i'm not sure, because it seems that different mums tried to left the show before the end of their contracts (kelly, jill, christy) but they weren't allowed. The only one who could do it was Jojo because in California it is forbidden to force a minor to continue a job if he does not want to. This should mean California protects minors, but Pennsylvania forces them to meet contract deadlines.
The fact that dancers had to dance while they were injured is insane they need time to rest let them do that so they don’t permanently injure it then can never dance again.
Who was she talking about when she said about the mother that chased her around the audience saying "your girls hate you blah blah blah etc...?" I wanna see this stuff 🤣🤣🤣🤣💖 the whole "my daughter's better than yours" crap reminds me of being in school playground 🙈🙈

when i first started watching dance moms a while ago, it seemed like the perfect show even through all the arguing. the kids had multiple opportunities and had (has) millions of followers on their instagram accounts. but as i watch these episodes of “uncovering dance moms” i realize how staged and disgusting the show was. imo, the show damaged the kids childhood from the pressure and long hours of shooting. maddie, chloe, paige, and other cast members seem much better now that they’re off the shoe, which im glad abt. i cant seem to trust abby tho. idk if shes the victim or vice versa. also, the producers always seemed sketchy to me 🙄

When she said she asked her friends why they didn’t let her die, why they didnt let her go really strikes a chord. I used to hate Abby, I may hate the way she treats the kids at times, but it’s horrible that the producers pushed her to the point of depression so low that she literally lost the will to live AFTER resuscitation.

Dance moms uncovered is so enlightening ! As a huge Dance Moms fan, it is a reality check. It was obvious that the producers were responsible for much of the drama but it’s actually shocking how much! I’m not surprised that most of the cast wanted out! 😠
