Hey I just found your channel. I think its pretty awesome what your doing. I've been practicing Taekwondo for 14 years and my favorite weapon is the nunchuck. I like the way it flows and the versatility. I was taught to use it with all the fancy tricks but lately I have been sticking to a more traditional training style. Lately I've been training with Slungshot or a monkeys fist which is very similar although its a bit smaller and typically used with one hand. I practice with a rock in a pouch that has a paracord handle that loops around the pinky for extra support. similar to a lock and rope its devastating and compact. It uses the same techniques that is used with nunchucks but can be a good option in places where its hard to carry nunchucks outside. I'm curious on your thoughts about monkey fists or having a loaded shot or weight at the end of a rope or lanyard and if its just as effective. One of the unique ways of using a monkeys fist or slungshot weapon is that since it consists of a short rope the shot or weight can be thrown at an opponent while the other end is looped around your pinky or hand to reel it back after throwing. The only issue with this weapon is that if its a pouch it can likely tear after heavy use but substituting it with a heavy nut bolt or bike lock can be used extensively. The weapon is shorter and can have more or less weight depending on what its filled or attached with. When I attach a lanyard to my keys which are many so its essentially a small heavy nunchuck or monkey fist but fully legal and easily accessible.

Listen if you beat with your strikes you will end up beaten yourself the strikes are suppose to be like a boxer direct strikes from various angles and again with less swinging.

I’m listening. Make a video and show me how it’s done.

Hey nunchuck man! I'm a fellow nunchucker and hoping you can help me out. Can you point me in the right direction to purchase 14" chain chucks (speed chucks) that are of high quality? The ones at Karate Mart fall apart on me after one workout.

Yea those are hard to find. Aren’t many places I can find with a good selection. And most seem to always be sold out. I had an issue with a certain pair that were made in China that broke right away. I wrote karate mart about them. Another one with a decent selection is kungfu 4 less. I think the best chucks are sold overseas.
