I am enlightened in several ways... To have seen the story behind the book cover... To have known the first black man to win gold as far back as 1954... To have seen a clip of the Biafran war...a big Kudos to ask those behind this.
    I searched for more clips...I can't wait.

Tolulope Olamide Ajayi But it was only education for the very few elite needed for administration. Not more than 100 privileged people were trained in that Queen’s English per year probably. Don’t be mistaken as if the British launched a mass universal education system for all.

This could have been a turning point. Ojukwu could have heeded the advice of Ifeajuna. History could have been different. Ifeajuna and Nzeogu are 2 soldiers that would have my respect till death. They are the bravest of the brave men Nigeria ever produced.
Ojukwu himself fled. He'd never be any where near the ranks of Ifeajuna and Nzeogu in my books.

BRILLIANT!! Very powerful, very emotive, A-class production by highly talented Nigerians... O, May Almighty God forgive our sins, help us stop this cycle of repeated the errors of our past. I found this depiction quite emotional... Strong, gifted young men whose misconstrued, precipitate acts brought on ferocious, uncontrollable, adverse consequences they hadn't envisaged at the onset. There are lessons from the movie's storyline. May Almighty God forgive and eternally rest the souls of the departed from both sides of Nigerian Civil War. Thanks. Shalom.

First of all, I must confess my utmost admiration for the producer, director and the Actors in this short film. I sincerely doff my "cap"for them and their efforts. I am not a film buff, but I thoroughly enjoyed the Film. My greatest admiration is to the two main characters; DIM Ojukwu and Ifeajuna. Secondly, the last piece at the end of the film, was really news to me. All I knew about Late Emmanuel Ifeajuna was simply that he was a coup plotter. Simple!!!. I never knew he was an accomplished athlete.
Because History has blighted them, especially for us the generation born immediately after the civil war. All we knew was "Odoji Award" largess.
Once more, my sincere appreciation to Tolu Ajayi for this production and uploading. I cant thank you enough. Thoroughly enjoyed. Thank You and God bless.

    Ojukwu was quite brutal, frankly.
Same way he did not yield to Jaja Wachukwu's advice on the use of Child Soldiers.
At the end of the day, No Victor No Vanquish.
May All Their Souls Rest In Peace.
PS: Victor Banjo's kids are very much alive. His daughter - Professor Omigbohun - is Nigeria's first female Professor of Psychiatry and first female Provost of College of Medicine UCH Ibadan.
His Sister - Professor Adetohun Ogunsheye - The First Female Professor in Nigeria.

This is a well researched work, very close to accounts I have read. Biafra didn't loose the war to Nigerian army. They lost it to their ancestors who abhor the blood of their children being shed on them by their other children. That's is why the Yorubas will never unite. They shed each other's blood on their land in many yoruba civil wars. No Igbo man will get it right to shed another Igbo man's blood on Igbo soil. Too bad.

Sounds just like another country that I'm from that had a civil war after it's independence from Britain (U.S.A). I'm going to do my homework (research) on this and learn more about this topic. I'm proud to an (BIAFRA) and when coming back to earth 🌎 next time I will ask God to make me an Igbo-man...... I'm proud of the producers and actors who played a smart and Sharp role💯👍 We all keep on praying and fight for the coming off BIAFRA (Not with guns/weapons yet maybe protest🏳️).
If you read more and go into history deeper, you will found that (BIAFRA/IGBO) have fought alot of war in the past (the war with British🇬🇧 which lasted for 31 Years "not day), and also a re-match which end 1914. I love BIAFRA❤️❤️❤️ we must have our own nation we peace and enjoyments go full everywhere💛💛💛💛and make sure you do ur PVC- I vote for Obi-T😃😃😃😃😃

I was wondering if the ending would look better by showing his actual gravesite in the end (if known) otherwise a very beautiful portrayal of a dark part of Nigerian history.

I like the way Gauloises is used to hint at the fact that France was the most active supporter of the Biafran cause and during the war supplied arms and other materials worth US$ 30 M (the 1960's dollars).

This is such a beautiful production. I'll harbor hopes that something delightful can be produced for the decade starting with 1966. Once again, so much appreciation for everyone who worked on this.
