It's interesting to see just how heavily this line leaned on Akibaranger, a series for which interest quickly died out once it stopped being produced. I could be cynical and point out how they were using it to manufacture demand for new product rather than actually listening to what the fans wanted, but it's also worth noting that a lot of team releases started because of Akibaranger tie-ins - notably Zyuranger, Hurricanger, and Jetman.
I never bought any Sentai SHFs back in the day, but I bought Gokai Yellow off Mandarake a few months ago when I started watching Gokaiger and she quickly became my favorite of the team. I eagerly pre-ordered Zenkaizer last night, Zenkaiger is a fantastic show, and I'm happy to support the return of Sentai to Figuarts
I remember seeing these at conventions in Australia. I regret not buying some of these because the price for some of these are kind of really high now.
I remember the 1st time I knew about SHF, I never imagined double jointed joints would be a possibility for action figures. Loved collecting them. Durability will always be LC's pro though
Minor note on Princess ShinkenRed. She was actually not at P-Bandai, but another online store entirely called Aeon Group. Kinda like how Gokai X'Mas was exclusive to the Toei Hero Net store. Also, not a figure per se, but there were Tamashii Stage bonuses for Akiba Red, Stage decals for Sentai purchases during "Season Tsuu", and the Power Rangers Stage set at SDCC.
Thanks a ton for this video. Going through all the releases was a huge wave of nostalgia. I vividly remember sitting in my dorm room and looking at all of the newly revealed Figuarts, budgeting for the ones I wanted, and ordering through HLJ and AmiAmi.
While I never experienced those late night pre-orders for Figuarts back in the day I'm good friends with those who did exactly that, I bet it was a crazy time
Man....I love this, Josh. this is a love letter to Super Sentai Figuarts. And that ending....Tokusatsu Forever. Man, I wanted the rest of the Jetmen, those SWAT Mode Dekarangers, Malshina, Bouken Silver and the Gorangers. As for teams not done, I wanted the Magirangers (in both base and Legend Modes), and the ToQgers (ALL of them). I supported the line as much as I could, and am happy to see them back. We'll see for how long, and who else gets released. But man......never thought I'd see the day....
Man I need to get back on my S.H Figuarts collection! I've been so focused on Lightning Collection last 6 months I forgot to keep track of of these as well. Already have Armored Tyranoranger, Ryuranger, Red Hawk, Black Condor!
I was momentarily bit by the sentai bug back in 2014 and ordered several from Japan but completely fell out of the phase a year later lol. But I still got them but lost some accessories
I love figurearts. Durability wise definetly lightning collection. Its sad seeing goseiger and gekiranger being left alone, those are my top2 fav shows. Same can be said for liveman and bioman ,like those are some GOOD suits
Would be cool for Bandai to get into more pre-zyu teams but also Dairanger, as these are rather unlikely to be covered by LC. Still gotta give Hasbro credit for doing a lot of 90s seasons that were kinda overlooked by Bandai's initial SHF run.
Great video as always! I managed to get the Dragonranger on eBay for £26 earlier this year, still not sure how it sold so cheap. I check eBay every so often just in case.
I found the princess shinken red for $35 just today. It’s the lowest price on Amazon and since I ordered the metallic version of the team I got her as well
I genuinely hope they make the Kyurangers, as I used to binge watch that series, and I loved it!! Although, I do think it would be hard to get them since I'm in America
S.H. Figuarts is perhaps the best Ranger figures out there. Detail, Super articulation, Many accessories, screen accuracy for body sculpt. They are expensive, but worth it. Let’s not forgot their other line. S.H Monsterarts makes the best Godzilla figures.
a nice companion video to this as a suggestion could be a video detailing the sibling line of Bandai's Super Robot Chogokin that did many of the teams primary Robo, and like SHF's some ended up also shown but unreleased.
Out of those released I got Shinken Red, (male and female) as well as Shinken Pink, Gokai Red (with the Steering of the gallon), Deka Red, Bokken Red, Blue and Black, Jetman’s Black Condor, Goseiger’s Ryu Ranger, Kyoryu Red, Go Ranger’s Aka Ranger, Red Buster, and the american box releases of the five from Ninja Storm/Hurricanger, and all MMMPR/Zyuranger Rangers but the armored black. Most of them got them at released, some second hand but complete and great condition, mostly the red one of Japan release like Deka Red, Red Buster, Bouken Red, Ryu Ranger, Female Shinken Red, & Kyoryu Red for like 30USD each, at a store where a collector came to sell them cheap since needed to sell them and the guys called me and gave me first crack at them, since I’m one of their main clients on PR, spider-man and Star trek stuff. And still have hope of completing the ones released from Dekaranger, Shinkenger and Gokaiger plus Red Hawk the same way, if not all at once like the those previous red ones, one at a time, since the prices of 100USD and up they are going on the web are too much if considering that I also have to add the transport to Costa Rica and the Customs fees and the stores cut.
Fantastic video bro keep it up and yes I also collect the sentai figuart and I completed my taiyo sentai sun Vulcan team since they are only 3😁 and also the kyouryu sentai zyuranger and I also completed the zyuden sentai kyouryuger team as well
I only have MMPR black for sentai figuarts. There were others I wanted to get but they used the articulation scheme I wasn't too fond of at the time, namely the drop down hips which I'm glad they got rid of
Can someone tell me why the pink and yellow figuarts of the Power Rangers Mega Drive never came out and suddenly where did the photos with the 5 figurines come from also why they did not make the yellow White and blue of the jetman? Thank you because I'm tired of having the figurines without the team being complete
I've got a lot of these figures, still disappointed they stopped for such a long time and didn't finish teams. So many Red Rangers. I want full teams! And even though Hasbro has Power Rangers they should still be able to make Sentai Figures. Josh: I have 2 unopened (still in shipper) Gosei Knight figures if you want one. I'll sell it to you at a reasonable price. Let me know how I can get in contact with you. I'm hopeful with the new figure being announced, means I can get Zeo, Turbo, etc...
That's good to know! I'll have to pass for right now because I have a lot to pay off here soon but keep in touch by either DMing me on Twitter or you can shoot me an email at tokutopics@gmail.com
Very interesting line for sure! I’m planning on going for the Super Sentai versions of all the main 6 Samurai rangers since that’s the generation that got me into Power Rangers in the 1st place:> hopefully they’re not “too expensive” on resale sites:
Personally, if they do release for sentai figures I want Magirangers. Either red or the entire main team. I’d also want Timeranger again either red or time fire or the entire team
I got the complete set of SHF MMPR. I bought some LC MMPR rangers but sold them afterwards, as the SHF ones are far superior (of cos with the higher price point esp after market)
I Hope Bandai will let latter SHF Sentai have a 2.0 joint. I don't know why they decided to put the old joint on every SHF SS product before Zenkaiger, which is a disappointment as the look will not be immensely satisfying due to the rough leg joints. Compared to SHF KR, SHF SS just do not receive quite a reasonable care from Bandai
I remember seeing all of these way back, never picked up any cause frankly, I'm not a fan of how skinny they looked. Great representation of the suit itself, not very good on capturing the feeling of a guy in a suit. Hopefully the new releases change that.

I was so happy when Gokai Red 2.0 was revealed. I'm a HUGE fan of S.H.Figuarts DBZ and Sentai.

You're right, I should've mentioned that for her. I knew about the stands but decided not to cover them.

I started collecting the Sentai Figuarts again so this is perfect timing for them to come back. I'm hoping Kakuranger gets a release.

oooh ToQger would'be been nice
@@TokuTopics OOOOOH YEAH! Imagine the Transfer Change gimmick….
And I want Hyper Mode for EVERYONE…..including that funky Yellow/Pink hybrid mode….
I remember finding red and gold samurai at toys r us, I was blown away by them and spent the next few years but as many as I could
This was literally me. Looking back I wish I never sold Bouken Red and Red Buster.
Man I need to get back on my S.H Figuarts collection! I've been so focused on Lightning Collection last 6 months I forgot to keep track of of these as well. Already have Armored Tyranoranger, Ryuranger, Red Hawk, Black Condor!
Wow. Must’ve cost you a mint, right about now. Where are you getting them, and for how much?

Thank you! I agree, BoukenSilver would've been really cool in my opinion.
Love this kind of informative video
Same here, I'm glad people are enjoying it!

Ya know for all the jank of the Lightning Collection, at least it all comes out. Great video
Fair point! lol
Great video bud! I have MMPR Red Green Pink Blue Black, never got Yellow though I also have BFighter (beetleborgs) blue and shadow
Those ones looked great.
rw:are any of these S.H.FIGURARTS of SS and PR are even on sale Toku Topics?
I’m glad sh figuarts is back
I'm so happy. The shodo candy toy line is way to clunky for me. Glad to have a collector grade zenkaizer and another chance to get gokai red
thank goodness they made a comeback with zenkaiser I hope they do a release more sentai teams including ToQger,Kyuranger and Lupinranger vs Patranger
You should do more video like this for other toy line
I will be :)
I only got kyoryured in 2014 so pre-ordering Zenkaiser was an instant yes! Will for sure get the new Gokaired too!
I only have MMPR black for sentai figuarts. There were others I wanted to get but they used the articulation scheme I wasn't too fond of at the time, namely the drop down hips which I'm glad they got rid of

NGL, even today, i still hoping Bandai to release Geki Yellow
Why is the last few minutes of the video just has music
Forgot about Gokai Christmas.
i wish the Malshina and Aoi figures were released

I would have liked to have seen something from Ohranger or Gaoranger. Even Kakuranger would have been nice.
I only got shinkenred n shinkengold
I just want them to update Ryu Ranger or complete the Dairanger team, and I would be eternally grateful 😭
Same here, the ones like that and Jetman that stopped with two are a tragedy.
Can you do every kamen rider sh figuarts release?
I'm thinking about it
So they haven’t made Dino thunder?
I wish the unreleased were released
Hmmm I wonder how much every Single figure in this video would be
Depends are you wanting original value or current value?
Most of them are actually very affordable in the secondary market if you check Mandarake
Probably a few thousand regardless if we don't account 2nd hand market prices.

Gyeah!,
Bioman, anyone ?
I will never forgive my family for not buying me samurai red even tho I saved up all my money for it I never got it those sons of bitches
