I always see all the tutorials online do cinematics from camera viewport, but not from player view where the camera/player is grabbed and it plays out a specific sequence, that is where I try to figure out what I need to do.
Hey a bit confused on something. I thought a cutscene was more like a rendered out video file that plays when a player crosses a certain part or interacts for example not something that is called live from the sequencer. How do I do this? Where a the game cuts to a cinematic that I already rendered out then back to the game. Maybe I missed something. Thanks
That's the old way of playing cutscenes. They used to premake cimematics, render them as videos then play them when needed. Nowadays cutscenes are all rendered in real time, meaning your game progresses exactly how the scene's being played.

It is all so simple, you just need to know which button to click. And that's the hard part :P
Exactly haha! Some cinematography skills wouldn't hurt either 🤣
How do you exit out of the cinema editor?
You X out of the sequencer tab.
no words.
