I would pay attention to the BASE stats of your Tamer weapon. While looking at your weapon mods pay attention to the weapon info. Press "TAB" to see it while looking at your weapon mods. I feel like you could get much more damage if you went for easier conditions. Weak point and fire rate, firearm damage, and element damage are the best mods for Tamer. The Tamer has a base crit rate of 10%. This means when you apply 100% crit rate to the gun it's BASE only goes up to 10% adding the original which totals to 20%. Which is okay on a 100 round drum but that scenario compare to guaranteed damage for hitting weak points on bosses is way better. Feel free to test this by using a boss timer. (However VALBY with Supply moisture transcendent mod gives her skill crit rate and for some odd reason it applies to her weapon making her Tamer base crit rate go wayyyy past 10% I heard it was up to 70%-80%)
That’s because they give you bunny for free and she’s easy asf to build/use, other characters require a actual brain. People wait for others to post builds, viessa always been that gal💪🏾
Because of that, whenever there's a Void Intercept, Bunnies are the one that go down first, i've lost track of how many times i have to res the Bunnies in a Dead Bride - Hard mode, that boss is not even strong lol
I'm sticking to this channel on builds. Because the other channels be like "unlock this character first (not easy) then all the maxed-out modules which is going to take hours of farming. And let's not forget the transcend modules you have to farm too.
Shield is really bad. Do not build around your shield unless you are playing around shield mechanic that converts it to damage. Shield does not inherit defense or resistances. Build HP instead. There is this mod that increase HP but decreases shield. Use that instead.
This build all together is actually very bad, he’s using spear and shield but stacking that with ultimate defense, he’s only using 2 skill mods on a descendant that relies on skill spam…..lol
I'm farming with Valby now cause she is fun, fast and works great with Bunny. And because u always have at least 1 bunny in your Team Valby is great in every team.
I farm on viessa my blizzard has 100% uptime and one shots pretty much everything Even if they have a shield bubble which is nice, with a range of 11 meters
@@StickyFingerss cold blooded mess for the buff, no conversion (highest cd reduction), nimble fingers, focus on chill, skill extension. Then use expansion, amplification control, to increase range
I need to be up front for any newer player watching this. This is a tank build centered on surviving long enough to kill something with your gun. He has too many defensive mods and barely any skill damage/change mods in general. This is a very tiring way to play. You will spend forever killing anything aside from trash mobs. Get rid of shield mods, they are useless. Stack HP. You don't need the defense up mod, you can get plenty from your external components. YOU SHOULDN'T CRYSTALIZE YOU TRANSCENDENT MOD SLOT. It saves you less room than if you just crystalize a normal slot and get 8 points back from a max mod. Be careful watching these build videos, some of these people will make you waste a lot of time and resources on useless things since they themselves don't know what they are doing.
ANd there is optimal range in this game, so keep your shotgun ammo for adds or when you stunned the boss after breaking one of his part. Cause I think optimal range for SG is around 10 meters.
I use my Viessa for Pyromancer(hard) farm(for other i use Boss Gley) and i prefer Skill Range (+100%) over skill Crit%, because the Pyro always walking around and Blizzard range is not big. My Damage Ratio Weapon:Skill is 1:2 on this Fight.
So Hypothermia is a drop from a hard mode Colossus? Which is beyond 90-odd percent of players. I use Hypothermia but what other Viessas need is a build to get them to the end of Normal. But a good vid 🫡
I mean realistically you can run chill specialist, nimble fingers, technician, HP, DEF, expansion and extension along with an antibody mod and that will get you through most of the content I main viessa and still haven't gotten hypothermia lol
hmm. i've been doing hard colossi with ult viessa, and i just completed obstructor. i only have around 1800 DEF, but allocate towards status resistances in fights. Base antibody mods(not maxed) with their respective "Maximize (Toxin, Fire, etc.) Resistance"(not maxed), and one or two element resist substats on my components and i tank fairly well. i get generally over 10k towards the resist i'm going for, and the rest is skill related* mods and the main HP mod.
@@BlackyChan805 I'm not sure I understand you. What do you mean, "bottom slots", and "use that space for more damage"? I thought external components are only DEF, HP, and Shield stats? Sorry, I'm a noob, clearly.
Shield is very weak at the moment, you are better focusing in HP first and defense second for external mods. I keep external components to buff resistances in my inventory in case I find I am getting melted by certain things. Tbh, this guy's build is WAY over spec'd into defensive modules. You are better off forgoing shield entirely and using a skill mod of some sort.
Without a complicated explanation basically shields aren’t worth investing in. You’ll get much more survivability from 10k+/10k+ DEF/health, I barely die now
Nope I think crit rate on tamer is a mistake. Last theorycrafting says magazine size, firerate, weak point damage, reload speed. 16 points here to get 1,5 percent added crit. Better usage of your mod points. You build crit on a weapon when it's higher than 20 or 30 percent base crit. Crit damage why not, but again the base crit damage of the weapon is low. High crit and crit damage weapons are low firerate in general like scout rifles. Nice vid and build thx.
Hunting down good external components is so annoying. I’ve only managed to find low rolls and max shield. Can’t seem to find any defense or health ones

Ice Needle does absolutely horrible damage. I mean did you even bother checking it to see how much damage it does before saying it "adds a ton of damage?" It ticks for like, 1,000 damage. That's worthless.
If you spec into chill/singular it will get the dmg pretty high. Also it boost your blizz dmg as well.. Hypothermia changes the 4 and the passive from tech to singular. I hardly have invested into it and i got about 6k ticks atm.. So I'm willing to bet you can reach 15k+ pretty easily with a mod or 2 geared towards it.
why da hel u focus on shield mod? too weird... it's the 1st thing always got destroyed in combat... if i was u i'll put battle and stamina in that slot, throw the shield mod away, and put skill extension in - for bosses run, if for mobs i'll throw battle and shield away and use skill expansion + extension.... and instead of putting crystal catalyst in the skill mod slot i will put in the sub slot and u'll get 85 capacity... 🤨🤨🤨

@@mind3482Finally someone that actually understands how the stats work, skill power modifier is indeed additive to the number shown in the skill descriptions, which Viessa already has huge at base so it does nothing (On Valby for example it’s a different story, she has 25-35 at base so adding 70 literally triples-quadruples her dmg). You can comfortably slot Maximize Range and it will lower the damage of her ult by 0.7% while doubling the range so bosses actually get hit. Focus on Chill is also much, much stronger on her than Chill Master for this reason, and she needs a Singularity or Tech reactor, not a Fusion one. For Ice Needle damage, use Focus on Singular, also helps with extra cooldown, which is extremely important.
