I found it funny that you use the adjective "phenomenal", when the game is largely inspired by the Dario Argento's movie called Phenomena. (the protagonists share the look and the name)
There's the hidden "S Ending" where either Anne or Laura survives alongside Jennifer. Unfortunately that ending isn't the canon, only Jennifer survives the events of the first game, as well as a boy who is called Edward and the story continues on in the direct sequel.
Are you sure about it? I'm pretty sure in the next game it is specified that Jennifer survived with one of the other two girls who can survives in the S Ending in the prequel's summary that appears when you start a new game...
@@JohnNeigeunfortunately the sequel states only Jennifer was the survivor of that game, as well as a mysterious boy she doesn't remember seeing + Ending C would be the most likely canonical one as it's the only time Jennifer ever heard the name "Dan", something she reacts to near the end of CT2
@@lowhp_comicI'm pretty sure that in the second game it clearly says at the beginning that Jennifer managed to escape with one of her sisters (without specifying which one it is)
i really like how you get a little taste of bobby one last time at 1:35 with the classic DWAAN of scissorman. its honestly the last time we get a nod to this scissorman
I see something big that’s going to happen with this clock tower series, hopefully the remastered version sells extremely well. I want a movie of Jennifer
I can see why the Rewind re-release added a new opening & closing song - Good effort overall in the entire OST but too many things repeated or re-used. Making a cover project for this will be difficult ...
I wish we could get a good, well-handled film adaptation of this game. Even today I think it could be done very well if someone followed the game, with only minor shifts needed here or there, and it could be absolutely terrifying.
BenAllen52 i don't know this is gonna be a simple dream, but i wanna somehow create a film of this game, but only the time gonna define if i could do that because i'm a great fan of this and making a film about this game it's gonna be great tribute to this game and the films based on video games
jon..................its the end.............................jon your gone..........................the end is near jon.............................this is your fate jon
hmmm this song should be used for a video on youtube about a garfield gameboy game and garfield becomes a demon and jon gets his hand bit off and like ye
This, coupled with the fact that Jennifer is the only canonical survivor, makes her standing alone with the rain just so melancholic
"The Nightmare is finally over"
Ummm...yeah...about that...
AHA, MY NAME WAS DAN ALL ALONG JENNIFER!
monday
Remember me Jon
dan: imma bout the end this man's whole carrer
I wonder how Battler would have done in the Barrows mansion.
Jennifer: The nightmare is finally over.
Dan a few months later: *Guess who's back? Back again.*
And this time
He’s in the mood
I guess the music director(s) really loved "Cradle Under the Star"...
I think the recurring theme works well in this game
Ever heard of a motif?
That is called a leitmotif.
This game's soundtrack is so simple, yet so effective. It's so phenomenal for being so little.
Jawsome perfect description.
I found it funny that you use the adjective "phenomenal", when the game is largely inspired by the Dario Argento's movie called Phenomena. (the protagonists share the look and the name)
This soundtrack gives you the sad feeling knowing you are standing on your own knowing you have lost something or have lost someone.
Agreed
Well. She lost four friends, learned her father never really abandoned her AND DIED captive, and she has PTSD from the events. So...

Clock Tower: The Nightmare is Finally Over...
Thrill Drive: Congratulations! You cross the finish line!
As Jennifer looks out in the clock tower, as it begins to rain.
She finally can cry peace
Glad to see Clock Tower coming back next year
Such an amazing ending theme, it’s so heartbreaking that we never got this masterpiece here in America.
Good news.

Would be pretty amazing to see this game, re-imagined in 2022 graphics and animation technology but change nothing of the scene design or dialogue.

The new intro and outro songs both feel like perfect easter egg songs for Call of Duty Zombies.

This game pioneered the horror genre and I'd love to see any kind of adaptation/reboot, honestly. And as long as it's a good one.
Watch Phenomena
Is the nightmare over? I can't be sure since mr scissor man doesn't seem to die easily.
