What should people in cold climates do in the winter with this zero turn? JD says storage at --4F but I live in a place that can have --20 below and I've seen solid research that says there is battery degradation below freezing (32F) on Li-Ion batteries.

Thank you for your question about the John Deere Z370R Electric Zero Turn Mower and its performance in cold climates. You're correct that lithium-ion batteries can experience degradation in extremely low temperatures.
Electric mowers, like the Z370R, are ideal for certain situations but may not be the best fit for every environment. If you live in an area where temperatures frequently drop below -4°F and you don't have the ability to store the mower in a conditioned space, this model might not meet your needs optimally.
For best performance and longevity, storing the mower in a temperature-controlled environment during winter is crucial. If this isn’t possible, you might want to consider a gas-powered model, which can be more resilient in extremely cold conditions.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or need help finding the perfect mower for your situation!
