Yup, it's art choice was definitely a problem, at least for me. The characters looks funny and cartoony but there is nothing awesome, cool, or charming about them. So I'm stuck on choosing a dumb looking character or less dumb looking one That being said, we still don't know the exact reason why it was shutdown so it can be anything. Even though I don't like the art style, I believe this game will have long lasting niche fan base because the gameplay is actually awesome. Iron Galaxy is amazing at making a game with deep but fun gameplay. P.S. : Might want to lower the background music volume. The message, which is the most important part of this video, is kinda blurred because I got distracted by the loud banging music.
he had music playing in his video sadly and i wanted to avoid copyright just in case because it's just an upload from his video I used to get his attention. The reason the game was shutdown was because Iron Galaxy didn't finish Rumbleverse on time like they were suppose to. The game was supposed to release on February 2022 but the developers needed more time to work on the game, so they released it in August of 2022 (6 months later). That made it to where they had 6 months left to make enough money to make up for the 6 months lost. So the cosmetics were probably overpriced because of that and everyone clearly noticed that there wasn't many facial options besides ugly and uglier to most people's opinion. It was a fantastic game, the developers just didn't have enough time to focus on everything else sadly. The game is now complete so hopefully if they get a second chance theyll be able to focus on advertising, character looks, and reasonable priced costumes

the developers were supposed to release the game in february of 2022 but they weren't finished with the game, so they released it in August 2022 instead. They were most likely on their last year of a contract they signed with Epic Games to seem profitable but because they started 6 months late, that means they had 6 months left to make a years' worth of money to keep the game running. They would never make it without those extra 6 months, so Epic Games shut down the server but let Iron Galaxy keep the Rumbleverse IP
Was an absurdly fun game. Would love to play again and yeah throw a little support if it came back. If they change the visuals and aesthetic but keep the gameplay that's at least something. There is really no game that plays like this did.
Since they finished the game, if they hopefully get another publisher they should be able to just focus on all the other stuff that the game lacked. So advertising, more facial options besides 2, mandatory tutorial from the start, and any other factors that could be worked on. But yea 100% agree, gameplay was amazing, they just have to focus on all the other stuff to make a fantastic comeback if they get their second chance

It doesn't even have to be "anime girls." The characters in Rumbleverse looked goofy and dumb...but they ALL looked goofy and dumb, there was basically no option to actually look cool. That's a big turn-off for a lot of people.
precisely, the game was and STILL IS a gem. you dont get to find a similar one like it in the same life span.

@@EbonMaster Blaming anime games for the reason this game has a less appealing art direction for the masses is indeed wrong.
