I can confirm this does work. I still haven’t figured out how exactly but I got 1/3 when i destroyed a single UAV because i had destroyed 5 with the Cigma that same game. Now i’m at 2/3 after around 2 hours so it’s still kind of inconsistent but definitely better than trying to get all 5 with the HE-1

Pro tip for any map but specially nuketown. Get on an elevated position. Climb on any surface, you will decrease the distance and it is much easier to shoot UAVs.
Don’t feed them kills or else you’ll get in worse lobbies with people who don’t get kill streaks and aren’t that good, just play as best as u can until u face a sweaty team that uses the score streaks a lot

Dropped my FOV from 120 to 105 and started walking a little to keep the rocket straight like someone else said, and did Dark Spine in one game. thanks so much for the tip. Literally only missed like 3/4 rockets out of all the UAVS
@ i saw a guy comment that he had did the line up but moved with the uav/counter and he said it kept the rocket from straying off randomyl, after i tried it, i did notice i got so many more hits and was yelling with joy once i got it done in one match.

I love you. I was about to lose my mind and start smashing things. I watched till just about the very end and hopped on a Nuketown game and went from having zero progress to having dark spine completely unlocked before the game even ended. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart.. Thank. You.
Watched your original HE-1 guide and now this one, and will say it helped a bunch in getting it gold! Not to say it was a cake walk, but some of these tips did help with the UAV timing, as well as mentally knowing it’s possible and pushing through! One observation that helped me in regard to everyone saying Archangel rockets are the only thing in Nuketown - if you are at the objective there is a good chance it will come towards you. I would aim down and self destruct with my launcher and it would also destroy the rocket giving the “Dud” medal and hence counting towards the challenge.

This challenge is actually hell. I legit had to feed the enemy 36 times and finally got my 3 UAVs in one game. Need to do it 8 more times now :/ CUAVs have been really difficult for me to hit so I've been sticking to the UAVs. The FOV technique really helped. I'm not sure how I'm going to get Dark Spine on this when my opponents saved their streaks for BO7 and then I miss the shots too
Hahaha yeah the fact it's completely out of your control what streaks the enemy has and whether they even get them is the worst thing! Last resort you can throw them care packages and hope they get streaks from it 😂
I did the launcher camos on nuketown (Gold and Dark Spine) and on Stakeout (Diamond and Dark Matter). For Gold you can just destroy enemy equipment on the ground as well, so getting 3 scores (5 for Dark Spine) on Nuketown is very simple, especially if you play Team Deathmatch or Kill Confirmed. Those two gamemodes will cause the spawns to switch sides more likely than for example Domination or Hard Point. You can destroy enemy assault packs and springer mines after you spawn on the oppsite side very easy. For the Diamond and Dark Matter Camo you just play Stakeout (any gamemode is fine) and just fire your rockets into the most likely direction of an enemy. For example the rooms to both sides of "B" or into the other rooms where you assume enemies. Also take a look on your radar after you respawn or use the Recon Specialisation to see enemy locations. I used perk greed to have "Fast Hands" and 3 Recon Perks to be able to switch to my HE-1 launcher quicker.
Yeah the addition of equipment to the challenge helps massively for the gold and dark spine challenges! When the game launched it was literally only streaks that counted so the challenge was much more difficult! Great tips though, I'm sure they'll help someone out 🔥
you can destroy field upgrades too now. counts for the camo. the details in the menu is now updatet too. it says "Destroy 5 Scorestreaks, Equipment or Field Upgrades in a single match 3 times with the HE-1"

In case anyone didn’t notice, to make it easier they just changed it to where you can destroy equipment and field upgrades as well. went into hardcore nuketown with engineer equipped and got 2/3 for the he-1 dark spine in one game from mainly shooting anything that lit up from engineer that the enemy team put on the ground. I did somehow manage to hit a carepackage plane with it and got x2 fly swatter as well and even hit an archangel missile with it but not sure if that one counted towards it lol.
I’m on dark spine, I got 1 off of the last game 4 times now and I just can’t hit any aircraft. And now of course when I want lobby’s where I’m getting absolutely stomped and the sky is full, I’m getting actual good lobby’s
For anyone struggling to find lobbies with people putting up uavs go into hardcore nuketown. Generally sweatier players && people are more likely to run uav bc there isn’t one already on their screen.
I only went for the diamond because there’s a specific trophy for it. I read a guide when the game came out said that launchers are the easiest and you only have to destroy or kill 50 to get it, but boy was i fooled. It was honestly pain but got it done in a span of 3 days.

Got my He-1 done thanks to this. Wanted it done before the patch tomorrow. Just in case UAV/Counter UAV stop counting as 2. Was hard pushing after I did zombies. Took me over 80 hours of playing multiplayer to get all guns diamond. Have 7.5 days in zombies. I suck at mutliplayer. Here is hoping I don't get hard stuck on bat triple kills now XD

The launchers were the first weapons I got Diamond. Getting the HE-1 gold was the most miserable experience I've ever had in a Call of Duty game. I am dreading getting Dark Spine for them when I eventually get up to that point...💀

Wow ive been leading the shots too much on the UAV, thinking it was HIGHER up than the counter uav, because it looked smaller, and in my mind it was because its further up lol
At some point I just gave up on launchers cuz it was wasting too much time so I just hit the grind for every other weapon. Thank god they added new guns and you only need 33 guns dark spine . Just completely skipped over the launchers might want to come back to it later tho after watching this video
Yeah skipping is completely reasonable and there's nothing wrong with coming back to them later! No need to put the whole grind on pause for one weapon!

Bro this helped me my first game after watching but it didn’t track my progress. I had 4 flyswatter medals and the other medal for destroying a watchdog helo and it was still at 0/3 for darkspine
2:21 I don’t understand. I was trying this today on Nuketown and I had to lead it so much ahead and still just went behind it. I tried it like in the video at first and it was just way off and missed completely so that’s why I was trying to lead it more. My rockets were shooting soooo slowly

HC Nuketown 24/7 on Hardpoint or Domination I guarantee that you will eventually have the sky blotted out with how many arial streaks are called in. Be kind and use them yourself too so other people can get the camos.
I got ok at hitting CUAVs and the occasional UAV but I swear they've sped them up recently. Not close anymore and have to aim so much further than previously
I'm on 120 FOV and I maybe land one hit every like 20-30 attempts lmao. I kinda wanna see people that play 120 FOV do this tbh, my rockets just look like they're going through the UAVs

Aim much further ahead than you think for CUAVs and less far ahead than you think for UAVs! The side by side I show in the video shows just how much further away CUAVs are
I've been struggling so hard with this challenge. I did the Krig and Saug to skip melee weapons, would you recommend doing melee weapons instead and skipping the launchers?
you cant just skip a class lol, yes you can interchange guns, like say you wanted to do the kreig instead of the val, but you cant skip an entire class

Fair comment, that UAV was right on the edge of the scope when I shot but generally you can just about see it! Also I think the way I said the fov works is correct, lower fov is more zoomed in therefore you've got to aim further ahead on your screen? If I'm wrong though then that's my bad!
I had 2/3 5 scorestreaks completed before the game I just played where I destroyed 4 Helos and 2 Uavs and it didn’t not count!! Any advice, been grinding it for 3 days now and i’m disappointed it did not track
10v10 is the way, i got 9 uav/cuav and 1 sam turret in the same game so 10 which counts to 2/3 times, u NEED HARDPOINT so the game last long enough u also need that bit of luck to have a nice balanced lobby not getting wrecked but not destroying the other team either, engineer and assault pack is also a must
Don't sweat guys, the challenge states air streaks, also enemies equipment like, spring mines, refill packs, and so on. I just did gold on that launcher by just destroying enemies ground equipment. I had the launcher as sendondary and destroying enemy equipment as i go. Try it. Thank me later.

Bro changing my FOV changed EVERYTHING! Really helped. I was at 120 and was constantly missing but changed to 105 and nailed almost all my shots

@@MusmiBlackOps Yeah I just finished dark indeed (Earned Dark Matter on 33 weapons in Multiplayer) today. I did triple kills in hardcore stakeout, but I did bloodthirsty in core domination for bat. I personally had a easier time with it then snipers. My aim is so bad XD
I would love to see you go into zombies and pull a gun out of the mystery box and use that in multiplayer for your wheel series

The launchers were the first weapons I got Diamond. Getting the HE-1 gold was the most miserable experience I've ever had in a Call of Duty game. I am dreading getting Dark Spine for them when I eventually get up to that point...💀

@ managed to get it done. I found to be destroying more equipment than score streaks anything I saw in the floor I just destroyed and got lucky with a couple UAVS

Wow ive been leading the shots too much on the UAV, thinking it was HIGHER up than the counter uav, because it looked smaller, and in my mind it was because its further up lol
Haha yeah it 100% looks further away and took me ages before I realised I was shooting too far ahead of it!

At some point I just gave up on launchers cuz it was wasting too much time so I just hit the grind for every other weapon. Thank god they added new guns and you only need 33 guns dark spine . Just completely skipped over the launchers might want to come back to it later tho after watching this video
Yeah skipping is completely reasonable and there's nothing wrong with coming back to them later! No need to put the whole grind on pause for one weapon!
So you're telling me that we don't have to make the launchers and that we can make the other weapons that they added to get to 33? and therefore obtain dark matter.???

Bro this helped me my first game after watching but it didn’t track my progress. I had 4 flyswatter medals and the other medal for destroying a watchdog helo and it was still at 0/3 for darkspine

2:21 I don’t understand. I was trying this today on Nuketown and I had to lead it so much ahead and still just went behind it. I tried it like in the video at first and it was just way off and missed completely so that’s why I was trying to lead it more. My rockets were shooting soooo slowly

Haha fair enough! The UAVs are smaller which is tricky but because they are closer to the ground it's a bit easier imo!

HC Nuketown 24/7 on Hardpoint or Domination I guarantee that you will eventually have the sky blotted out with how many arial streaks are called in. Be kind and use them yourself too so other people can get the camos.

I got ok at hitting CUAVs and the occasional UAV but I swear they've sped them up recently. Not close anymore and have to aim so much further than previously
Imagine if they constantly change the speed of them throughout the game so you can never get consistent 😂

I'm on 120 FOV and I maybe land one hit every like 20-30 attempts lmao. I kinda wanna see people that play 120 FOV do this tbh, my rockets just look like they're going through the UAVs

Aim much further ahead than you think for CUAVs and less far ahead than you think for UAVs! The side by side I show in the video shows just how much further away CUAVs are

I've been struggling so hard with this challenge. I did the Krig and Saug to skip melee weapons, would you recommend doing melee weapons instead and skipping the launchers?
you cant just skip a class lol, yes you can interchange guns, like say you wanted to do the kreig instead of the val, but you cant skip an entire class

I finished 1/3 in one game and 2/3 in another
I swear the 2/3 game I had I didn’t even get all 10 I got maybe like 7 or 8 but I was shooting sam turrets and counter uav’s as well I don’t think I hit one UAV that game I got so lucky
The he is my last gun to get dark spine on ive only managed to get 1 out of 3 done.
At the moment I'm doing the headshots for the krig so well see which I get dark spine on first 😂

They should just make the HE-1 equipment destroys like the special camo, the other launcher is easy

Fov higher = Longer away Not shorter. Also you show that you move the uav OUT of the scope before you shoot.
Fair comment, that UAV was right on the edge of the scope when I shot but generally you can just about see it! Also I think the way I said the fov works is correct, lower fov is more zoomed in therefore you've got to aim further ahead on your screen? If I'm wrong though then that's my bad!
I had 2/3 5 scorestreaks completed before the game I just played where I destroyed 4 Helos and 2 Uavs and it didn’t not count!! Any advice, been grinding it for 3 days now and i’m disappointed it did not track

They actually just changed the challenge with the mid season update so equipment and field upgrades count! The challenge is super easy now 👍

10v10 is the way, i got 9 uav/cuav and 1 sam turret in the same game so 10 which counts to 2/3 times, u NEED HARDPOINT so the game last long enough u also need that bit of luck to have a nice balanced lobby not getting wrecked but not destroying the other team either, engineer and assault pack is also a must

Don't sweat guys, the challenge states air streaks, also enemies equipment like, spring mines, refill packs, and so on.
I just did gold on that launcher by just destroying enemies ground equipment. I had the launcher as sendondary and destroying enemy equipment as i go. Try it. Thank me later.
Yeah they just changed the challenge to include equipment etc in the mid season patch!
