This was triggering for me. I accidentally selected the ‘assassin perk’ with my first unlock token. I grinded the entire first weekend to prestige. The rage was unimaginable fellas.
Since this video is mostly multiplayer oriented. I would recommend zombies players use their permanent unlock token on the mutant injection scorestreak. Pretty much guarantees a successful exfil if you have one ready to go
*On the zombies end of Prestige tokens:* If the AS VAL isn’t a Season 1 blueprint, I can absolutely recommend unlocking it for zombies. It’s an underrated AR that can hold its own, and subsequently was my first Prestige unlock simply because I like it that much. Your first and second Prestige tokens- if you’re not using one on the VAL- should be dedicated to either the Mutant Injection or Shadow Rift (with the Big Game augment) so you can deal with Elites. I’d tend towards Shadow Rift, since you can equip that ammo mod for significantly cheaper than crafting the Mutant Injection *and* can still get relatively common Mutant Injection drops mid to late game. Afterwards, I’d also recommend unlocking Aether Shroud, since it’s a late game unlock that a lot of people love. I use Frenzied Guard a lot more but Shroud is significantly easier to use as a panic option and can save your bacon in clutch situations. After those… there’s not *that* many zombies unlocks that are too important for most situations. You could switch unlock the Chopper Gunner if you also play Multiplayer and aim for big streaks (or swap it out with the Mutant Injection since they both share the function of erasing Elites and are mandatory to late game exfils). The Kazimirs are a great piece of equipment unlocked at a late level, but they’re so expensive to craft I don’t feel great recommending them unless you really like them- especially as all tacticals are fantastic in their own right. Even if you’re not a zombies “main”, but rather switch back and forth between MP and zombies I highly recommend at least considering perma-unlocking one of the first few unlocks I mentioned above. Aether Shroud will likely be your best bet if you’re that kind of person since it’s the most versatile, and you can make do without the scorestreaks/ammo mods if you’re not planning on sticking around past round 30.
This is really great advice, but the one thing I’d add is to not sleep on Healing Aura. Being able to pick up anyone that is down from ANYWHERE on the map is crazy strong. Plus with the beam augment, you can pop it when you get cornered and when you go down if you stay in the beam it will revive yourself which is just nuts lol
I perma unlocked the AS VAL (I don't mind if there's a Blueprint or not, it was my favorite gun in Battlefield, so I unlocked it for that alone). So far with all my different magazine attachments (I'm only missing the very last extended mag), this thing reloads stupidly fast with classic formula speed cola. It almost feels like you're pumping a shotgun, it doesn't even feel like a reload. I thought it was just something so hilarious seeing it when I did eventually have that augment. Even in MP (I like to switch between the two modes, but zombies is my main), the AS VAL still practically insta reloads. It's insanity.
there's an AS VAL wallbuy on terminus that me and my buddy just speedrun to get because it's also on the way to the third power generator. we learned quickly that it is an absolute monster for rounds past 25, and since it's a wallbuy it keeps scaling up in rarity as the rounds progress.
Personally, if you’re like me and mainly playing face off and (later) Nuketown, i think tac mask would be a little more important than ninja since being quiet isn’t really going to help you live any longer on a map that’s literally a 3 bedroom apartment. But if you’re mainly playing core maps, stick with ninja.
Ninja is bugged right now and hasn't worked since launch, according to lunchtime. Your enemies still hear your footsteps, so I used my 2nd unlock elsewhere
Probably the same i experienced on perk greed. Shit was loud as hell. But if you say it's quiet for me and loud for others notmally. Damn. @@Popsthechute
@@william9922 Also footsteps in this game are not loud... don't know what Ace is on about but I've been knifed from behind or shot from up close by people that don't run ninja and I couldn't hear a damn thing... and my headset is actually top notch... this CoD has the most silent footsteps of the last decade...
I picked fast hands for the 1st prestige because I like to swap to the dedicated melee weapon and being able to run faster at the beginning of the match, and I felt that using the specialties with any perks at the earlier levels is quite fun on its own.
Feel like combat specialities makes perk greed kinda a crutch in this game. I wish I had more freedom to use the other wild cards and didn't feel so boxed in. Might have to balance it, but kinda wish the specialties weren't tied to perks at all and you could just pick whatever specialty you want.
maybe if all perks played into more than one specialty that might make it a lot less frustrating. Engineer being both a blue and green perk would be a good example
It feels like a big step back from even the MWIII Vest system which itself felt like a needlessly restrictive framework at launch. Hopefully it's more fleshed out over time like the Vest system was, but three games in a row with perk system gimmicks in pursuit of "meaningful choices" is really starting to wear on me personally.
I want the enforcer specialty but most of the red perks are trash. Green perks are meh, blue perks are the only ones that are semi useful. Treyarch needs to rebalance these perks and get rid of the colour system all together.
you're the man! I JUST prestiged and didn't think to look this up before and used it on the damn AS VAL. smh but I am prioritizing camo so it might work out but greed is obviously the best. Just didn't see it until the end. Thanks, I'll chose it next!
I used my 2nd token on the AsVal, I was hesitant but if you keep going you only get it for 1 level basically; being it's usually an upper tier with the free suppressor, I think it's an exception to the unlocks in this vid...especially for those of us who'll never use higher score streaks
1:11 Correction: You need to "purchase" the blueprints with the campaing cash you earn through missions, cash which is used to buy upgrades to your character. Just completing the campaing isn't enough.
The best token usage is probably 1. Your favorite wildcard 2-4. Your favorite perks 5. Favorite field upgrade 6-7. Favorite tac/lethal 8 and on is dealer's choice
I used my first on perk greed and now it’s time for my second. Still debating on which, but I’m loving the variety in this game! Between perk combos with or without perk greed, gunfighter to make an op build, or with most of the guns feeling competitive, there’s something for everyone.
How good gunfigher is? From just checking various attachment stats, you don't really *need* 8 attachments, since, unlike previous CoD you can't really "stack" most of stats. Like you usually don't have more than 2 attachments that improve ADS. Or recoil on most guns don't even require to stack all recoil decreasing attachments. There are probably some exclusions, like Tanto, where you really want Rapid Fire attachment so you also need to improve you recoil afterwards. But most guns feel OK with 5 attachemnts.
Yeah I’m wondering, I’m thinking forward intel, ninja, stim shot…. So many good ones, tac mask might be good too since ppl can bring 3 tacs and I hate getting flashed
You get it so early that it's not worth it imo. Some guns need it, I used it on the Kompact for example to get the recoil under control but almost no guns need it. @@madzaisa
I got tac mask since it makes flashbang, stun, neurogas equipment useless. It literally functions the same way tac mask did in BO2 where you are immune to the effects compared to someone who doesn't run it. I full recommend using Unlock Tokens on Wildcards,Perks,Lethal or Tactical gear, and Field Upgrades as those are universal for MP,Zombies and Warzone and have actual value. Weapon unlocks are fine and all but if you spend it on the wrong one or that weapon gets nerfed in a few weeks,be sure to make it worth your time.
I think the purpose of gunfighter in this and in the new warzone is to let people use different things or their favorite non meta weapons. I'm just above average to good but gimme 8 attachments I'm make any weapon competitive, just below meta. Imagine the poor bastards rn who are still on rebirth rn, running dtir and static for the 8000th game in a row
I am not sure yet if i wanna prestige yet, but if i go the prestige route Gunfighter will be my first for sure. I love the 8 attachments for a great build gun.
I wanted to use my unlock on perk greed too, but I play zombies more than mp so I used it on Aether Shroud because I thought since zombies and MP have separate unlocks, they should have a permanent unlock each right? Nope. I find that quite BS tbh.
Only issue with perm unlocking perk greed off the bat is the good perks are late unlocks. I have it unlocked now after a couple prestige’s. First unlock I did was the VAL and second was actually Mutant Injection so I can fly through my early ranks as fast as possible in zombies.
I know TheXclusiveAce isn’t doing zombies on his channel, but when it comes to permanent unlock tokens to use in prestiging, I already used one on the Aether Shroud field upgrade. As for other items to permanently unlock, I have a list of them including gobblegums to use as my go-tos: 1. Aether Shroud 2. Chopper Gunner 3. Decoy grenade 4. Molotov 5. LT53 Kazimir grenade 6. On The House 7. Hidden Power 8. Idle Eyes 9. Shadow Rift 10. Free Fire
i feel like its kinda useless to spend tokens on multiple items in one slot, e.g. the gersch and decoys in tactical. if you have a preference for one, you're pretty much always gonna be taking that one, otherwise you can always pick the other up in-game from regular drops
@@bori1986 Of course. Whenever you get cornered and you have no anywhere but here gobblegum available, always pop the Aether shroud so it could help you get out of any situations like that.
As a Zombie player, using my first unlock token on Aether Shroud was a no-brainer. But for my 2nd, deciding between perk greed and the void ammo mod will be tricky, because I'm starting to play multiplayer more.
@shawnmg it wouldn't be my first choice, even for "killstreaks". The chopper gunner is a little better imo, but the mutant injection is pretty darn fun to use. If you use it a lot, then you weren't an idiot for unlocking it. It's very valuable for you.
If you are gonna prestige, you have gotta do the campaign at least until you get the blueprint for the LR 7.62 since that weapon unlocks at like rank 40 something, getting that perm unlocked from just playing the campaign is insane.
I know this channel is mostly focused on mp but i would also recomend the chopper gunner for zombies, so that you can actually complete an exfil.... its also unlocked around lvl 45 i believe
To clarify for anyone wondering, you don’t get the Blueprints for the AMES 85, Marine SP or Jackal SMG for simply beating the campaign like Ace eludes to. You actually need to spend in-game money to unlock those specific Blueprints, all of them costing $3000 each.
Perk Greed “bug”. For those of you having trouble with your perk greed only showing dexterity, here’s the fix. When you click on your extra perk slot, there will be 4 tabs at the top of your screen that will say perk 1, perk 2, perk 3, and extra. Make sure you tab all the way over to extra in order to equip any perk you want. I got stuck just clicking perk one and getting frustrated before I noticed this so hoping to save someone else a headache
i actually tried out perk greed with ninja/ghost/forward intel/double time before watching this video and immediately realized how much better that felt as an aggressive player. i probably would've gone to 1st prestige without perk greed so thanks for pointing that out!
I don't necessarily agree with all your choices, but with the reasonings you give, I respect them. (I'm also exclusively a zombies player so most of those don't even apply to me LOL) Looking at it through the multiplayer perspective, I would say everything except the scorestreaks I would agree with, for the others I would end up unlocking a few guns I liked to use. As for Zombies, (instead of doing the perks for multiplayer) I did perks for zombies and a few guns. But, it doesn't really matter at the end of the day because as soon as you hit Prestige Master you will just have everything unlocked always anyway. That's the cool thing, It is all based on personal opinion because it (and say it with me) doesn't matter. Great video and keep up the good work
I used my first on the ASVAL. Onto the second and I’m most likely using blast traps. Stims are relatively early & ninja is as well. Perk greed may be my 3rd unlock but to me, having my kit is more important than an extra perk just for the overall gameplay grind. I’d rather use things I love from level 1 (blast traps, ninja, Stims etc) than use perk greed when in reality you don’t really get the GAMECHANGING wildcard perks until 40 anyway. My vote is. Take your two most important things with you one your first two prestige. Whether it’s a Gun + lethal. Or lethal and tactical. Or a certain perk + a gun. Whatever it is, the grind will feel so much better having that. THEN on prestige 3.. go greed.
always appreciate the time and thought you put into your videos . i smiled when you said perk greed as the first one because thats what i chose all ready from my experience :D
I went combat axe for the first since it’s unlocked on level 52 I think. I don’t know why, but getting combat axe kills is the most satisfying thing in game to me. They are also the best lethal in zombies, which is where I usually spend my time. I unlocked Aether shroud for my second token. Don’t sleep on the zombies stuff as well!
I actually *insist* that your first permanent unlock be the chopper gunner; some of the best xp gains I've gotten are from +40 round games in zombies and it's super important that you're able to buy chopper gunners with scrap to keep yourself in the fight, especially if you're not very good and need to crutch (no shame, it's my favorite strat).
its validating when Xclusive Ace first 2 are the 2 that I was going to do myself. I already got perk greed with my first and figured pairing that with ninja was amazing cause ninja and ghost combo is so good
Similar list so far. 1 Perk Greed 2 Ghost 3 As Val (just because I kept predtiging instantly and wanted to use it before the nerf comes) 4 Harp 5 will be stim shot 4
Perk Greed was my first unlock too. The other thing this does is give you early access to the wildcard slot, which you otherwise wouldn’t have for those first few levels. I do need to unlock another perk though so I can use it and I think perk unlocks are a great way to go. Also 100% agree about not unlocking weapons with the AS VAL being a notable exception. S1 was out when I prestiged the second time, seeing there was no blueprint for the AS VAL told me they know its really good and aren’t making it easily accessible, so I unlocked that with my second. I’ve had a lot of fun playing around with Sleeper Agent so I was thinking of doing that though it’s kind of a meme.
I went with scavenger as my p1 unlock. It really helped with grinding the pistols and launchers camos so early in the game. Plus when you run smg and can rack up 7 or 8 kills, it helsp to have more ammo.
I used my first token on Perk Greed and my second token on the AS Val. And here’s a great tip, if you really can’t compete in Multiplayer, try out some Zombies. I plan to remain in Zombies until my next prestige when I’ll have the HARP permanently unlocked, and I’ll go to MP then
If you can't compete in multiplayer, how are you earning the HARP anyway? I can't believe someone is going to hide in Zombies because they don't have a scorestreak unlocked.
Counterpoint- beware that if you plan on taking zombies seriously (EEs or high rounds) you’ll still be kneecapped! Notably you’ll lose access to most ammo mods and streak/equipment crafting recipes, which is devastating since both are practically mandatory to deal with Elites. If you “main” zombies or even plan on frequently using high rounds/EEs to get back up the ranks, I’d recommend getting either the Shadow Rift ammo mod or the Mutant Injection scorestreak. Note that for the former I also recommend researching the Big Game mod, since activating Shadow Rift directly on an Elite will instakill them.
@@peabrain6872 What’s your problem? Are you implying I should use my valuable permanent unlock token on something completely useless like a smoke grenade? Come on. Perk greed is unlocked at level 54, the AS Val is unlocked at level 55, and the HARP which I plan on permanently unlocking next is unlocked at level 42. I want the most use out of my tokens. So why would I ever waste them on things that won’t help me compete in this era of matchmaking? Get real.
@@Tatman2TheResQ If you’re really taking offence to my decisions, you need to get ahold of yourself. This is my copy of the game and I can choose to play it however I want. I aim for long killstreaks and without my HARP, it’s not happening when you cannot loop streaks. And if I’m content playing Zombies, then why not let me be? Because I’m not fighting SBMM dumping 5 glue sniffers on my team like I’ve been doing for the past years. With the one exception being Black Ops 4, I rely on the Advanced UAV style streak if I want to go on a long killstreak. Until BO6 allows me to loop streaks where I can just depend on the UAV, I am firmly staying in Zombies until I have enough tokens to unlock everything I need for Multiplayer to compete effectively in my skill bracket. So instead of trying to sound cocky and trying to make me look like a frightened little mouse, how about you get your average recent KDR to the 2.0 mark, play Multiplayer and see how well you compete. I know what the matchmaking is like and I refuse to play Multiplayer until I’ve gotten what I need. In that regard you might as well as call me scared because I’m busy levelling my weapons up in zombies before taking them into MP. It’s a ridiculous argument you’re presenting. Given how SBMM works, it’s in my interest to go in prepared instead of half assing it and going in without my preferred perks, streaks and attachments
I think my second unlock token will be used on field upgrade Sleeper Agent, it isnt tr best but boy its a lot of fun just running around the enemy team not knowing and then get a knive in the back 😁
@@tommie5811if they aim at you on controller, they still get aim assist. So probably the best way to avoid it is to move with them like you are actually a teammate, so they won't shoot you. Also, there's a perk that counters it.
Good timing on this video. Level 53 right now and going to prestige once I play tonight. As of right now, in order, I'm leaning towards unlocking perk greed, stim shot, ninja.
When I looked at the level progression unlocks I knew I'd be taking perk greed as my first unlock. Tac mask will probably be second. I'm kinda sad though, the loadout I use for domination modes has an AR and shotgun with overkill, it's such a good combination. I've been running all greens for those modes, flak jacket, fast hands, and guardian, and the strategist perk lets you see equipment. I'd love to add tac mask to that, but then no shotgun. I also run smoke grenades as my tactical with a thermal scope. So good for clearing objectives before jumping into them.
Honestly i went immediately for ninja because those levels up to unlocking it were the most aggravating moments of the game hearing my own footsteps all the time
I tried to get the Battle Axe as my first permanent unlock, and accidentally fumbled around in the menu and got the GPMG-7 Light Machne Gun. I was really upset, but after trying it and levellling it up, it's one of my favorite weapons.
As I mainly play Zombies my first 2 unlocks were AS Val (just like the AR and don't wanna wait 55 levels to use) and Aether Shroud (last upgrade and really useful) will probably use 5 unlocks for MP items.
I feel like perk greed and ninja are definitely the best 2, but if there's no blueprint for the AS Val in the season 1 pass, I'd get that one at 3rd prestige. Imo the AS Val is the best weapon in the game in multiplayer by a wide margin and being the last unlock makes it worth getting early for me. It's competitive with SMGs under about 15 meters and is the best gun in the game between around 15-35 meters and still usable past that unlike any of the SMGs.
For my fellow Zombies players out there. The Mutant Injection is a great perma unlock. At level 39 it may be a little early, but you need to be that level to even buy it from the crafting table. And as someone who uses these all the times specifically against Abominations I'm essentially locked out of playing consistently above round 30 without this unlock.
I am a camo grinder and I got Dark Matter on all weapons and let me say if that is your objective in this game, first is gunfighter that changes the game completely especially if you play HC Faceoff, so no point in perk greed, the next for sure should be ninja, you want recon, so when you spawn you can lineup with the head whilst have a glimpse trough walls. The rest comes naturally depending in what you grind. For me I unlocked perk greed at prestige 5 simply to do melee and also for that Bruiser is a musthave
Penso che Ninja , anche se non toglie completamente il rumore dei passi , sia davvero molto utile. Grazie come sempre, video molto ben fatto ! Continua così 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼❤️❤️
Tbh I might get the AS VAL as one of my first unlocks. Not just cause it is the final thing in the game you unlock in the military ranks, but also because I just love it so much. TTK is fantastic, integrated suppressor is very nice and lets me use either Tactician or Perk Greed without much concern over attachments, recoil isn't too bad, has to reload often but the time it takes to do so is STUPID fast (also it gets a lot of different extended mag options), and it is probably my overall favorite AR in the game right now. Probably a personal thing, but I am having a blast with it and don't wanna have such a nonexistent time frame between prestiges to use it
The way I plan to use my permanent unlocks is to just unlock the last non-weapon items going backwards. Not really much logic in it besides saving myself some time to get the last unlockable item each prestige. It’s simple and works for me.
If you got bo6 right away and play the game often, unlocking your weapon of choice isn’t a bad thing at all even if you get it later. While a neat list one of it is based on your skill and it always comes down to personal preference. 👍
I bought the battle pass and 1 bundle (I know, I’m horrible for that) which pretty much perma unlocked over half the guns in the game, so now it’ll be quite simple to choose what to unlock
I did Perk Greed, then bankroll and as val. at lvl 17 which took a half hour, i had my uav and counter unlocked to spam on HC kill confirmed with green specialty
First thing I unlocked was Dark Aether Shroud. It is the last special ability you unlock and is very useful in zombies. Especially when doing the Easter eggs.
I’m just gonna really quickly think of one for zombies: 1: Aether Shroud 2: LT53 KAZMIR (or monkey bombs but I like the kazmir more) 3: Mutant Injection 4: Weapon Of Choice (for instance I would pick the ASG-89 because it’s the gun I use for high rounds and is considered to be the best starting weapon) 5: I’m gonna go with decoys on this one, mainly because decoys are like mini monkey bombs that you can start with and really help for doing basically anything that involves you not being able to shoot at zombies - aka the valve on liberty or bomb diffusion on terminus 6: If you exclusively play terminus, go for Molotovs, they’re necessary for high rounds unless you want to scavenge for 3 off the zombies you kill. If you play exclusively liberty, the mangler cannon for crafting the jetgun 7/8/9/: just get guns and gear you want, for instance I’d probably get the GS45, LR 7.62 and CIGMA 28 in that order for the last 3
I can understand your picks, each of them make sense. I personally though may end up avoiding weapons altogether because I'm not too picky on what I use or rushing the camo grind, alongside that even if there isn't later unlocks getting a blueprint early in season one, I do grab bundles sometimes, and never know for sure even pushing later seasons. Perk Greed was absolutely my first pick, even if it's not as good as it was in Cold War, still a lot of value and very late. Otherwise, I may mention some of the later zombies related unlocks could be worth considering for people who play that, more field upgrades and ammo mods.
I went with the AS Val my first prestige and don't regret it tbh. Im grinding camos, so when i did AR's and at prestige i was able to roll over and finish the AS Val
As someone who is playing MP to rank weapons for when warzone comes out. I am using my first on OVERKILL so I can have numerous MP loadouts with an AR and a SMG. This way I can have plenty of weapons to choose from off the rip.
Yeah, I'm torn between ninja and primary gunfighter. Having all the attachments is so nice. Perk greed too, but I think I'll be able to live without it till my 3rd prestige since I'm probably going to want the extra attachments most of the time. 😅

That’s what I did along with aether shroud.
*On the zombies end of Prestige tokens:*
If the AS VAL isn’t a Season 1 blueprint, I can absolutely recommend unlocking it for zombies.
As val Beeing underrated 😂
@@thunderstorm924 Upvote
there's an AS VAL wallbuy on terminus that me and my buddy just speedrun to get because it's also on the way to the third power generator. we learned quickly that it is an absolute monster for rounds past 25, and since it's a wallbuy it keeps scaling up in rarity as the rounds progress.
I agree, and already plan on, 1: perk greed, 2: ninja. Unlocking ninja is a game changer.
Ninja is bugged right now and hasn't worked since launch, according to lunchtime. Your enemies still hear your footsteps, so I used my 2nd unlock elsewhere
@@Popsthechutewhat this is good info. It definitely makes ur footsteps quieter for yourself but if it’s bugged for enemies that’s a waste of a perk rn
Probably the same i experienced on perk greed. Shit was loud as hell. But if you say it's quiet for me and loud for others notmally. Damn. @@Popsthechute
Ninja doesn’t even work right now
@@william9922 Also footsteps in this game are not loud... don't know what Ace is on about but I've been knifed from behind or shot from up close by people that don't run ninja and I couldn't hear a damn thing... and my headset is actually top notch... this CoD has the most silent footsteps of the last decade...
Perk Greed was my first, too. Absolutely a no brainer with how late you get it and how useful it is.
Or you could be a man and use gunfighter😉
It feels like a big step back from even the MWIII Vest system which itself felt like a needlessly restrictive framework at launch. Hopefully it's more fleshed out over time like the Vest system was, but three games in a row with perk system gimmicks in pursuit of "meaningful choices" is really starting to wear on me personally.
I want the enforcer specialty but most of the red perks are trash. Green perks are meh, blue perks are the only ones that are semi useful. Treyarch needs to rebalance these perks and get rid of the colour system all together.
@@InvntdXNEWROMAN yeah, I still use enforcer but I feel like perk greed is necessary if so to at least get one other good perk
you're the man!
Sleeper Agent - way underrated. Used my token from Prestige 2 to permanently unlock.
came here to read this. totally agree
@@seemorecakesta87 Ong bro it’s so much fun to use. Every time I use it I yell “A RED SPY IS IN THE BASE” at the enemy team
1:11 Correction: You need to "purchase" the blueprints with the campaing cash you earn through missions, cash which is used to buy upgrades to your character. Just completing the campaing isn't enough.
You get the sniper rifle from the cradle but yes, must buy the other 3
it's not that hard to get 9K in campaign.
On the casino mission you can reset a certain check point and farm a safe with 1000 dollars in it
I got enough cash first run for the blueprints through the campaign unlocking no other upgrades lol.
The best token usage is probably
1. Your favorite wildcard
2-4. Your favorite perks
5. Favorite field upgrade
6-7. Favorite tac/lethal
8 and on is dealer's choice
HVe u been able to use it straight away because I can’t view it due to wildcards being locked when I prestiged
@@AdnaanRavatgo to the progression section and do it that’s how I did it
I was JUST about to spend my first permanent unlock token, and I completely forgot about Perk Greed. Thanks Ace, you're the GOAT
I snagged the Stim Shot first permanent unlock. I do play aggressively so having that ready to heal has been a life saver.
I know TheXclusiveAce isn’t doing zombies on his channel, but when it comes to permanent unlock tokens to use in prestiging, I already used one on the Aether Shroud field upgrade. As for other items to permanently unlock, I have a list of them including gobblegums to use as my go-tos:
1. Aether Shroud
2. Chopper Gunner
3. Decoy grenade
4. Molotov
5. LT53 Kazimir grenade
6. On The House
7. Hidden Power
8. Idle Eyes
9. Shadow Rift
10. Free Fire
Gobble Gums aren't locked by perstieging. Gaining then via levels is just a means to add 1 more of that gum to your stock.
@ Ok. I might use permanent unlocks on something else then.
i feel like its kinda useless to spend tokens on multiple items in one slot, e.g. the gersch and decoys in tactical. if you have a preference for one, you're pretty much always gonna be taking that one, otherwise you can always pick the other up in-game from regular drops
Is Aether Shroud that good?
@@bori1986 Of course. Whenever you get cornered and you have no anywhere but here gobblegum available, always pop the Aether shroud so it could help you get out of any situations like that.
Best unlock is blast traps bro. You throw those out it’s like 10 more kills a match. Stairways, doorways, around corners. They are crazy underrated.
I like blast traps but do you not just feel like virtually everyone uses flak jacket, making them ineffective a lot of the time.
I plan to use mine on sleeper agent, it's a late unlock at 51 and it's just so fun
Underrated for SnD
A lot of people run vigilance tho so it’s not really useful. Unless I’m one of the few.
As a zombies main, my first unlock was aether shroud and then I did decoys. Totally different priorities between the multi and the zombies priorities
It’s unfortunate how much ninja is needed for foot steps, it being a blue perk makes it even worse with the recon specialist being OP.
Well if i pick ninja i wont go all blue as in most cases im rushing with an smg and i need double time 🤣

As a Zombie player, using my first unlock token on Aether Shroud was a no-brainer. But for my 2nd, deciding between perk greed and the void ammo mod will be tricky, because I'm starting to play multiplayer more.
We should get an unlock token for each game mode >.>
I'm an idiotic team player, I was kinda boxed in using healing aura to carry teammates 😂. I messed up real bad using a permanent on that.
Am I an idiot for unlocking mutant injection? 😐
@shawnmg it wouldn't be my first choice, even for "killstreaks". The chopper gunner is a little better imo, but the mutant injection is pretty darn fun to use. If you use it a lot, then you weren't an idiot for unlocking it. It's very valuable for you.
1st was perk greed, 2nd was the as val.
3rd will be ninja
If you are gonna prestige, you have gotta do the campaign at least until you get the blueprint for the LR 7.62 since that weapon unlocks at like rank 40 something, getting that perm unlocked from just playing the campaign is insane.
I know this channel is mostly focused on mp but i would also recomend the chopper gunner for zombies, so that you can actually complete an exfil.... its also unlocked around lvl 45 i believe
Mangler Injection is infinitely better. Trust me Choppers aren't that great especially solo.
I just use a monkey bomb to clear most of the zombies.

Gunfighter was my first perma unlock, hands down do not regret it
Ace, can you do a video on the dexterity perk? Is it actually helpful or a placebo?
Yes please
i actually tried out perk greed with ninja/ghost/forward intel/double time before watching this video and immediately realized how much better that felt as an aggressive player. i probably would've gone to 1st prestige without perk greed so thanks for pointing that out!
Can we get a ninja perk breakdown video and how it interacts with the louder footsteps field upgrade?
Ninja perk is also way louder for enemies than what you can hear
Done and scheduled for Sunday
THEN on prestige 3.. go greed.

I like the way how black ops 6 made blueprints relevant this time around.

Feels illegal to be this early
I went with scavenger as my p1 unlock. It really helped with grinding the pistols and launchers camos so early in the game. Plus when you run smg and can rack up 7 or 8 kills, it helsp to have more ammo.
As a ffa player the game becomes unplayable without ninja
Same with SND.
Unfortunately ffa is already unplayable because of the recon specialty
Definitely appreciate this video as a casual player that plans to prestige. Thank you Ace!
Still strongly believe blueprints should only unlock that EXACT blueprint permanently. No editing the gun.
Man thank god you mentioned the arrows on the harp. I thought i was getting insane because the enemies always moving backwards 😂
I used my first token on Perk Greed and my second token on the AS Val.
And here’s a great tip, if you really can’t compete in Multiplayer, try out some Zombies.
I plan to remain in Zombies until my next prestige when I’ll have the HARP permanently unlocked, and I’ll go to MP then
Metanoob
I think my second unlock token will be used on field upgrade Sleeper Agent, it isnt tr best but boy its a lot of fun just running around the enemy team not knowing and then get a knive in the back 😁

right on par with my first two. I would always rage when people heard me in other games, but in this one I can 1000% hear everyone stomping lmfao.
I took the AS VAL for my first permanent unlock, I don't regret it.
This is a great idea! I was just trying to think of the perfect way, and I gotta say I love this, and I'm actually going to try it out. Thanks
Honestly i went immediately for ninja because those levels up to unlocking it were the most aggravating moments of the game hearing my own footsteps all the time

I wasted my first one on the AS Val but this video made me feel better.😅
I feel like perk greed and ninja are definitely the best 2, but if there's no blueprint for the AS Val in the season 1 pass, I'd get that one at 3rd prestige. Imo the AS Val is the best weapon in the game in multiplayer by a wide margin and being the last unlock makes it worth getting early for me. It's competitive with SMGs under about 15 meters and is the best gun in the game between around 15-35 meters and still usable past that unlike any of the SMGs.
The problem is that if AS VAL is too good, it could be nerfed soon enough.
Very sound advice. Great vid = instant sub!!
One thing to keep in mind, when you prestige, you also lose everything for warzone, where things like gunfighter are even more important
I'm finding the grind incredibly slow this time around. I haven't even fully leveled one gun yet.
2:09 Reminds me of RuneScape leveling. 92 is half of 99.
Exactly 😂

That's what I used it for, definitely should've used it on Perk Greed but the AS VAl is an absolute laser
The way I plan to use my permanent unlocks is to just unlock the last non-weapon items going backwards. Not really much logic in it besides saving myself some time to get the last unlockable item each prestige. It’s simple and works for me.
feels good that his first pick was my first pick too, smort.
Man I needed to see this video before I spent my token. 😂😂😂
I did Perk Greed, then bankroll and as val. at lvl 17 which took a half hour, i had my uav and counter unlocked to spam on HC kill confirmed with green specialty
you deserve to reach a million subs this cod season 😁
First thing I unlocked was Dark Aether Shroud. It is the last special ability you unlock and is very useful in zombies. Especially when doing the Easter eggs.
I used mine on the Val. The next time I'll do perk greed or gunfighter. Didn't realize how much I would miss gunfighter 😂
I’m just gonna really quickly think of one for zombies:
1: Aether Shroud
2: LT53 KAZMIR (or monkey bombs but I like the kazmir more)
3: Mutant Injection
4: Weapon Of Choice (for instance I would pick the ASG-89 because it’s the gun I use for high rounds and is considered to be the best starting weapon)
5: I’m gonna go with decoys on this one, mainly because decoys are like mini monkey bombs that you can start with and really help for doing basically anything that involves you not being able to shoot at zombies - aka the valve on liberty or bomb diffusion on terminus
6: If you exclusively play terminus, go for Molotovs, they’re necessary for high rounds unless you want to scavenge for 3 off the zombies you kill. If you play exclusively liberty, the mangler cannon for crafting the jetgun
7/8/9/: just get guns and gear you want, for instance I’d probably get the GS45, LR 7.62 and CIGMA 28 in that order for the last 3
i used my first perma unlock as the AS VAL, solely for getting gold camo on it while simultaniously progressing prestige.
You can also save it as a zombie loadout. After I did prestige 1 I still was able to access those loadouts
The only downside of perk green is that it does nothing for you at the very earliest of levels when you don't even have 4 perks to equip at once.
Throw on a double xp. And get ninja with your next token
Thanks for the video. You had some great tips. I plan on taking wildcards for my first prestige.
Yeah, I'm torn between ninja and primary gunfighter. Having all the attachments is so nice. Perk greed too, but I think I'll be able to live without it till my 3rd prestige since I'm probably going to want the extra attachments most of the time. 😅
