Hajime Isayama is such an underrated artist... he doesn't get the recognition he deserves, but at the same time he doesn't care for it and keeps doing his work sincerely for his fans. Such a humble guy.
Yeah, he was judge for his rough art style, but good and average art can be seen a lot of time but, a good story can rarely be seen anywhere at any given point of time
Tbh him and ONE (Mob psycho and OPM) are insanely inspirational. To entirely make yourself big through the story alone in a visual medium is some great shit. (ONE is probably even more insane. I could draw better, yet this guy is pretty successful just because his stories are so good)

He was an amateur to everyone, but he wrote incredible stories that even experienced writers couldn't right, like Levi was an amateur using ODM gear, but was better than 90 percent of the people who were actually experienced with ODM. He also suffered a lot of losses, even if not physical ones, to make the manga, just like Levi took a lot of death and suffering on himself just to reach 40 years old, let alone work in such a dangerous job that is the scouts.

From the very first chapter, hints of the end were already there. This man is next level in terms of planning, foreshadowing and knowing what he wants to do with his story. He's already one of the best authors and story tellers ever in my eyes.
I already was hoping to be able to write and illustrate my own stories, but Isayama's work has inspired me so much to really take it seriously, practicing drawing and writing almost every day, I hope to write something half as good as SNK

I echo his sentiments when he thanked Isayama for entertaining him and his friends; if I had a chance to talk to the author, I would tell him his story has had a profound impact on my life, emotionally and philosophically. I was coming of age when Eren and his friends were coming of age, and I'm glad I got to see its beginnings as a teenager and the end of it as a working adult. Attack on Titan is a masterpiece.

This was a nice interview, but I cannot be the only one who felt the negative tension between them. The interviewer clearly only watched the anime, and asked questions based on what he saw. But in reality, Isayama is the writer of the manga not the animator.
S4 is the final season. it will end during the Fall next year in Japan. perhaps Mr. Isayama can make the spa Attack on Titan as the theme. but I will definitely see the next live adaption movie of the anime
45 pages a month? You are so incredibly talented person... As a comic artist myself i tell you its not easy to draw comic actually..even drawing a page consume me about 2 to 3 days.. He did a very good job finishing comics fast and quality drawing

Attack on Titan isn't really that impressive compared to the series mentioned above. However, at the end of the day, Aot is a god-tier series and Isayama deserve so much love.

love it when anime or movies in general use real martial arts moves into their work and not just flashy moves. Attack on titan and john wick do this. Series like these you can point out a bunch of moves if you practice martial arts.

I echo his sentiments when he thanked Isayama for entertaining him and his friends; if I had a chance to talk to the author, I would tell him his story has had a profound impact on my life, emotionally and philosophically. I was coming of age when Eren and his friends were coming of age, and I'm glad I got to see its beginnings as a teenager and the end of it as a working adult. Attack on Titan is a masterpiece.

It's literally Asian literature where everything is sort of implied. But, I get why there's a lot of western people who doesn't really like it, and I don't blame them. Western media always reveals everything especially at the very end.

This was a nice interview, but I cannot be the only one who felt the negative tension between them.
The interviewer clearly only watched the anime, and asked questions based on what he saw. But in reality, Isayama is the writer of the manga not the animator.

Well since its 2020 now it wont finish in fall. Isayama says he plans to end the manga this year. But the anime will end probably mid 2021
45 pages a month? You are so incredibly talented person... As a comic artist myself i tell you its not easy to draw comic actually..even drawing a page consume me about 2 to 3 days.. He did a very good job finishing comics fast and quality drawing

I really hope he takes a break after this because he’s giving AoT his all to the end, even with what is being added to the anime because it makes the story better from his perspective. love it when anime or movies in general use real martial arts moves into their work and not just flashy moves. Attack on titan and john wick do this. Series like these you can point out a bunch of moves if you practice martial arts.
I'd pay good money to watch an hour session of the roundtable consisting of the top mangakas discussing their craft and their experiences sharing it with the world.
