I have just completed Camino Frances from Sahagun, about 380kms. My mornings began at 4.30am, completing walking about midday. I was a tourist until 4pm, then look after my feet and my clothes, then sleep about 8pm. I loved it, I miss it.
Great video I’ve just finished the Camino from Saint John to Finisterre love hearing from other pilgrims my partner and I did it in 32 days but next time I’d definitely go a little slower
My key to succes was quite simple...just keep walking Not succeeding wasn't really an option in my mind, i loved leaving before the sun was up so i could see the sunrise and after that get a café con leche and a napolitana con chocolate and i was as happy as i could be 🙂
Personally, I think using an alarm in a dorm is inconsiderate. I agree 20km is ideal, though I tended to do about 30km+ most days, maybe next time I will go easier and enjoy it better. I would love to do again with less dorms while eating more with others.

This would be a perfect scenario- less dorrms and more community meals! We agree 👍
