Hi thank you for this video it help me out alot , my check light was always on and i took it to the mechanic and he change the gas filter and it came back , now that same wire that you are showing now , I notice in my car one of the wire was cut and I took it to the electrician and he put it on back, and the problem was solved, it's good when you can notice a fault and also know your car.
My check engine is on and the car is not holding steady in traffic. This is a 2012 Toyota vitz. We changed the 02 sensor, clean the transmission, change the injectors.. The machine is reading transmission even though it was cleaned. Mechanic saying we need a new transmission. What do you think. We also cleaned the gas filter but the check engine light is still on.
Well then seem you the expert on toyota vitz..after having all these issues with the valve and blah blah blah,i bought a 1nr transmission and engine to put in the car..i change out all the wireloom etc.the problem is that the original computer is damage so i had to change that computer..i bought one with the same codes etc..before i wasnt getting the check engine light, now with this computer i am getting the check engine light..the problem is the car turning over but not starting..at one or 2 time it start but not keeping up..however the electrician who scan it got a code pointing to the imbolizer, saying that the computer came off a button start toyota vitz and mine is a key start...can this be? Is this even possible..because the two computers are the exact codes.
I feel your pain. These electronic controlled vehicles sometimes can be difficult to deal with. If your original computer had issues it should triger most if not all engine check light problems related to the vehicle. If you install a computre that have more engine system parameters to read than your current engine system, the computer will report these non-existing system as errors and your engine will never run good.
Whenever you have car problem with these new vehicles, a mechanic is no the first place to go, an auto-electrician is the first person to check once engine check light appears.
@@ShelDockToyotaVitz hi I have Toyota vitz 2012. I have a problem with uphill reverse. When I try to reverse uphill the reverse gear disengaged. When I turn the steering wheel full anticlockwise the gear engage and the car is able to move reverse uphill but it does not do the same when I turn the wheel full clockwise. What could be the problem?
@@josephtheuri7495 does the transmission slips when reversing or it seems to go in neutral when you turn the steering clockwise? If it seems to go in neutral, it may need a bit of adjusting.
@@josephtheuri7495 whatever condition exists causing a transmission to slip would be caused within the transmission itself. There are solenoids controlling reverse and forward mode. There may be a problem with the reverse solenoid or its electrical circuit.
If it is transmission fluid then you have a leaking transmission. The first thing is to identify the area of the leak. If its a small leak you can clean the area thoroughly then use ULTRA GREY to seal the area. Squeeze and perss it into the leaking area then seal the top of this area with some of the ultra grey.
