This is a brilliant way in which you teach Hungarian. Absolutely brilliant. I love the countryside. I am in the US. My grandfather was from Hungary, so when I was a child I understood basic Hungarian, since my parents spoke it, but I have not used it for many years. I figure after 3 months of living in Hungary, I will be able to speak basic Hungarian.
Once ruled by Austria-Hungary part of the autonomous region of Serbia is also very beautiful. I was amazed to see the planned city, railways, electricity and so on.
RURAL HUNGARY - MORNING WALK Part 1 - Karcag: Hungarian Learning Vlog. Video has attractive content and attractive form. Watched the video May 28, 2023. Thank you
I hope to retire one day to somewhere quiet, simple and peaceful away from the U.S. A small country village just like the one in this video seems ideal. I value trees, fresh clean air, and kind people. It's especially helpful to have a video such as this presented in Hungarian for two reasons. One, if I'm ever fortunate enough to experience going to Hungary, I would need to understand how to speak with everyone there so watching this in the native language is very helpful (I just need to use translated subtitles for now) then watch regularly. The second reason is, it's a simple and relaxing video, even the music, so I could watch it over and over again, especially if I'm stressed.
I’m glad you found it interesting and relaxing! I also have another channel about Hungary which is completely in English. Here is the link to it if you’d like to check it out: th-cam.com/channels/TgHUgiWeSxd1ieGjZTsZuQ.html
Thank you for this lovely presentation. I am Hungarian, living with my Scottish wife in Canada. Growing up in Budapest I was fortunate to have relatives that lived in these beautiful villages that you are showing us today. I’ve often wonder where they are today as I cannot remember the name of the village. Would love to do a walk about, much like you are doing, as I have such fond memories. One of my favourable memories was watching a morning routine whereby cows from individual houses joined a herd walking through the village toward a nearby pasture. In the evening the herd returned and the cows would find their way back into their respective homes. Then of course the milking in the evening was another another highlight. All done by hand with the bucket below the udder. Rob & Hazel
Thank you for the lovely comment. I also have a vivid memory of cows going to pasture in my grandparents’ tiny village and the bells clinking around their necks! There was something magical about that! I’m releasing another village walkabout video from my grandparents’ village on my other channel this week. My other channel is all about Hungary, but in English although I do interview Hungarians sometimes. Here’s the link in case it’s of interest to you: th-cam.com/channels/TgHUgiWeSxd1ieGjZTsZuQ.html The village video should be coming out on Sunday, if all goes well. :)

Kösz szép....thanks. It was a pleasure to hear (and understand) your speaking Hungarian. Your little town is delightful....and I found it a great way to help understand some of the vocal I had forgotten. I learned Hungarian as a child growing up and have had a few visits there. But I don't converse with anyone at all. So many words have left my memory. I now live in a small but growing, town in Australia. I will be happy to watch more of your videos to pick up my skill.
I have been to a small village, just one street, a small city, and a town near lake Balaton. I love Hungary. The culture, the people and the food is amazing. I also love palinka. The sounds of nature in the village were amazing. I also enjoy the fact that nothing is wasted or thrown away, things are reused or repurposed.
Thanks for this video. I grew up in a similar little village in Somogy megye, and sadly I am struggling to speak Hungarian. Videos that have 'Pesti Magyar', lol, are not fun to listen to, for me personally. Yours was perfect, I understood every word. And of course, it took me back to a more pleasant time, my youth.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video! So pleased that you understood what I was saying as well! ( I still had a bit of cold when I filmed this video, so I was worried that my speech wasn’t as clear as usual.🙃)
