These artillery ones were the longest yet due to the additional damage types. Originally this was supposed to be a single video and after 2 hours I had to scrap the original recording
pen dmg can be really good but it also has a down side... your unit can under/over pen and a strong atg mostly over pen the enemy tank wich means the pen dmg is useless in that moment but if it penetrades it is very good but most of the time the atg wont benefit from it because it will over/under pen the enemy unit thats why i prefer pure dmg skills that will work permanently
You mitigate it with pen damage modifiers. However, yes, you're right flat damage from multiple sources isn't effected so adversely like the ATG pen mechanic is. Realistically it's only there to counter SH and MBTs and after that, it's pretty much useless unless you're in the field shooting down aircraft or plinking tanks.
Guardian of truth has a 40% pen damage buff for skill training. I unfortunately awakened him years ago. I’m going to skill train death adders skill to get 120% total pen damage
I can't actually remember if I cut that section out, I made this video over a week ago and forgot about it. But yes, in the original unedited version I believe I did cover that. I am still tempted to put a few quid in him to ramp that particular skill up. I might wait a while before I do though as he gets expensive
Love the deep dive series, almost watched all of them. The video on power sickness really helped me I appreciate it.
Glad you got something out of it, happy to help anyway I can (:
Thank you for all your videos. I know they take time to put together. I find them more informative than any others out there.
