I’m almost 82. I think I may be one of few ancient ones tuning into this channel. I enjoy tuning in each week and enjoy the tips. I had a slice of lemon in my tea and now put wedges in a glass of water, spray my pillow with lavender. From the comments, I read, everyone is a few decades younger than me. This blog reminds me to be kinder to myself. I’ll get my candles out too! Many thanks
Your first tip reminds me of the scripture I say as a Christian " today is the the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it." - Psalm 118:24 Puts things in perspective and makes me glad to be alive , healthy, and breathing right now and that could change in a blink of an eye🙏🏾
Another tip for self care: Make your home, your office, your room beautiful. It doesn’t take a lot of money. The main thing is to make sure everything is clean and orderly, and that you have some pretty spaces that you designed with decor you love, and situated it in an aesthetically pleasing way. Our homes should never be neglected. Space affects mood profoundly. Flowers, candles, etc, are a part of that. If you have a little extra money, you can go pretty gorgeous with this, and it is life-changing.
You are my hero in so many ways! I'm Debi and I've been retired disabled, since the age of 29 because of lupus, for most of my adult life. I have spent many a lonely day at home while my friends worked and made incredible reputations, careers, families, and lives for themselves (I can't have children because of the lupus). So I have had to find ways to take care of myself while at home alone all day (when I retired the term "self-care" didn't exist yet). I am an introvert masquerading as an extrovert, so there has always been a dichotomy inside and a balance to be found. I came up with some creative ways (volunteering being a big one) to help myself grow and learn and love, but you have come up with new ones for me that will enhance the rest of my life and make my last years BETTER! You ROCK, girlfriend. I love your Canadian bent towards life, too. I have several close friends from Canada and am lucky enough to know that you guys are wiser in so many ways than us Americans! So, cheers my friend. Keep on keeping on.
I wake up every morning, and say a prayer of gratitude. Today, I'm heading out to my weekly morning yoga class. Every day I connect with at least one person, and play in my art studio. At the end of the day, I make a cup of tea, plan my next day, and say a prayer of thanks. Gratitude and humility for all we have is a very powerful affirmation, a good foundation for happiness and contentment. Namaste.🧘♀️
Congrats on 70 👏🏽 I’ll be 60 next week and I cannot wait!! I totally enjoyed my 50’s, even with my two years of health issues, but I’m ready to delve into my 60’s. Have a great 60th Bday trip, Jen, when that time comes up 🐉
I'll be 70 next year, and as I m handicaped, my family travels me to Majorqua for this event, can't wait, my son in law's idea, french, living near Montpellier, enjoy your videos! thanks a lot,
Anne of Green Gables has been one of my favorite book series for 40 years now. In fact, I listen to the audio book on TH-cam when I'm falling asleep at night. That book may have been the reason I fell in love with a red haired woman and we had a baby girl, also with red hair, now 33.
Even if I don't have time to paint, I go into my studio area and do something to prepare for my next painting: cut down full sheets of watercolor paper, tape a piece of paper to a board, check which paints need refreshing, etc. More often than not I actually end up doing a quick painting sketch.
Hi Jen. You are incredible. Simple things (with the exception of travel) to boost our moods. I love candles, lots of daylight streaming in the window, going outside feeding the squirrels, birds, bunnies, and deer. Filling the birdbath. I'm lucky to have a big picture window where I can see nature at its finest. Reading a great book, doing a daily workout (walking, weights, etc), and above all, cuddling my 3 kitties. So calming. Having pets reduces stress, increases serotonin and endorphins. Last but not least, everyday, I treat myself to two squares of dark chocolate. Heart healthy, and delicious. ❤❤
Hi Jenn... I know it seems mundane, but I count my blessings. It only takes a minute and instantly makes me feel better. If you do it while standing in sunshine it makes it even better. Thank you for your videos.. There always seems to be something that I can adopt or think on.
So…fellow social introvert here. The anticipation of social interaction is much worse than the actual interaction (in most cases). If my person is with me, my daughter or granddaughter, I am usually okay. Otherwise, I must wear my sunglasses until I absolutely must take them off to be able to see. I am invisible with my shades on.😀 If you visited me, we would take our tea to the nearby state park and sip it while sitting in one of the swings there. We might rent a paddle boat and paddle our legs to exhaustion around one of the huge lakes in which the fall foliage is mirrored. And if the air is coolish, we’ll spray lavender oil on our wrap that we throw around our shoulders. 💜🍁💜🍂💜🍁💜 (who says virtual visits aren’t self-care?)
Yes! Megan Follows is the only Anne Shirley for me too! I visited Prince Edward Island because I loved the story so much. I also read all the books. So much wisdom to be found.
While I don't do it every day, I will often head to my local coffee shop for a latte and sit in their garden. If I have some time to spare, I may read or write a letter.
I just found your channel today and so I’m binge watching. Every video so far I’ve found myself shaking my head in agreement throughout the entire video.
Lovely tips Jen. Reading/audiobooks are really good for me. I’m like you, just love pottering in my garden. It’s not pristine - it’s friendly to the little creatures, birds and bugs, so not overly tidy - but I love it! Brings me joy and planning for the future in the garden is so good and positive.
Turning 60 in 5 days, Nov 8. These were fabulous! Self-care: taking meds, drinking water (not just diet soda), wear earrings when going out (makes me feel a little more put together), floss then brush teeth at least twice a day, hand lotion for sandpaper hands, soft and strong toilet paper, brushing my hair daily, getting fully dressed even if it is the weekend and I'm not going out, eating vegetables every day. These are pretty sad honestly. But. Things have been really hard lately, so the above is fighting back depression....
Hi Jen! I'm a single introvert of 65. I find your channel refreshing and the topics you discuss relatable. I usually start my morning with meditative music, a podcast, and exercise. I also forest bathe in my near-by park. Nature can be very therapeutic. I love doing practically any word puzzle: Crosswords, Text Twist, and Bookworm are my favorites. You brought up so many good suggestions!
Hi Jen I am 66 and I have a full routine first thing to take care of me exercises, yoga, medication, prayers and affirmations and I am set up for the day. Thank you for all your great tips. Have a lovely day 👍😉🇨🇮☘️Eire
I had my 80th birthday in May. Seasoned cruiser, but taking my first solo cruise in December. I love your positive attitude, Jenn. I have fond memories of binge watching Anne of Green Gables. I was visiting a friend in Washington. My friend was working, so I stayed in my pj’s all day. It was cold and raining outside, but I was in my own little world with a warm fire and Anne for company.
My big feel-good scent is cinnamon. I remember it from my Ohio winters at Christmas time especially. It just made me feel so cozy and relaxed as i watched snow flurries outside my window. 😊
Hello, I started following you just before you hit TH-cam gold and I keep tuning in every week to tap into your wisdom. It is what has now turned me from content consumer to content producer. Thank you for what you do 🙏
Love this! Thank you. I always try to do a short 10 min yoga flow in the morning. I love stretching before I am up and about for the day. I live in NYC and walking is my main mode of transportation. There are TONS of stairs and ramps in our subway system. Luckily I live fairly close to my office and walk home most nights- it’s about 1.5 miles door to door. This isn’t hard b/c it’s a habit.
Self care habit - I bring fresh flowers into the house. In season I cut them from my garden and in winter I pick greenery from the garden and enhance with grocery store flowers.
Hello friend, I, too, am an introvert but i am retired so it doesn't matter. I liked all of your ideas and already implement some of them . The Wonder Woman pose is great. Take care of you and thank you for brightening my day❤
Once again, you nailed it. I so relate to this video, too! Before I even started the video and saw the title, I thought, "I hope she talks about drinking water, lighting candles and gardening." You did not disappoint!! However, I'm not a fan of lemon, I prefer lime in my water. Just as delicious and not bitter. I love gardening -- a little at a time. Even if I just go out and do it for 10 or 15 minutes, I feel accomplished and relaxed. And if you don't have a garden, find someone who does and ask if you can work in theirs -- I'm sure they would be OK with it. If someone came to me and said, "Can I work in your garden for a few minutes each day?" I'd be thrilled! It's not a weird ask. Sometimes people just don't have the time to tend to theirs, so it doesn't hurt to ask. Oh, and the travel thing. I don't like traveling. I did a lot when I was younger and I'm done -- however, I still love to "plan" trips. I do the same -- I just never go. Another thing I love to do that is totally fun and relaxing (and takes me out of my 'every day') is I go on real estate sites and pretend I'm a multi-millionaire (I'm not) and look at mansions. I look at those homes one can only dream about that has, like, 13 bathrooms, and I love taking virtual tours. It's wild and so fun! I've looked at homes/mansions all over the world. I highly recommend it if you want to step out of your reality and see how the 'other half' (or 1%) live! Thanks again for a great/fun video!!
You mentioned doing a daily puzzle for a shot of dopamine. NOW I understand why quilting (piecing quilt blocks) makes me feel so positive! My daily boost is starting the day with a simple morning QiGong routine - outdoors. Even 5 minutes helps.
Great ideas! I like to put a few stitches in the needlepoint canvas I’m currently working on. I also thank the Lord at bedtime for the day and in the morning for keeping me safe throughout the night. Thank you for the garden scenery, your Foxglove look so happy!! 😊😊
Hi Jen, i could send this message to you every time I click into your channel. Thanks Jen for another easy to listen to video and would never want to miss one.🎉
This one I can do year round indoors it takes care of my physical, mental, looking forward attitude, light therapy, and my love of gardening…indoor hydroponics (Aero garden) or some knock off, Rise or Gardyns. I can do vegetable’s, fruits, plants or flowers. Plus it’s fun to grow things that will also take care of me!
Self care habit that gets me through the day: Definitely tea :). But also I've been listening to Bach WTC for an hour a day using hand mudras with it, to re-wire my neurological net. Lots of fun. I'm feeling smarter and more orderly every day. I love the idea of re-wiring my brain for entering a new season of life. The brain is plastic and rewires itself constantly. So, I've decided to take advantage of that fact, and purposefully rewire it in an upgrading way! The older I get, the more intelligent, the more mentally ABLE I get. At least, that is the intention :). Also, I'm addicted to my plants. And I paint therapeutically :).
Good morning! I have added you to my self care routine! I like to brew coffee in the morning, even though I rarely drink the whole cup. I listen to a 10 minute meditation on my way to work. I have 4 cats and I take time everyday to sit with them and snuggle. They calm me. Sometimes it is in the sun, early in the morning and sometimes, in bed, after a stressful day I will take one of them to sleep with. I am not a fan of lavender, but I do like the cozy scented candles, like apple spice or vanilla. I hope you have a wonderful weekend 😘
ALWSYS LOVE these videos! To relax I drink hot tea, and read great books. Not opposed to afternoon naps toooo! But the rest of my day I’m usually on my feet doing meal prep, cleaning, organizing, gardening etc etc. Not a TV watcher normally. Also to relax I get out with friends weekly and sometimes we do lunch and an afternoon movie matinee! It has become our new thing! I always feel happy I’m in the theatre watching an afternoon movie and not working !!
You are such an inspiration to me! I've been wanting to start a TH-cam channel for so long but have had a million excuses why NOT to do it. I'm not skinny enough. I'm not pretty enough. I'm not disciplined enough. Who would want anything I have to say/show? What value do I have to give out into the world? etc. etc. But lately, I've come to the end of my ability to tolerate my career J.O.B. I'm given all that I have to it. I've learned everything I can from it. I realize that there is so much more to me than I am able/allowed to demonstrate in my job. I feel like I've outgrown that job. When I'm there, I cannot feel any kind of connection to it at all. It's like I've molted inside of my skin and that skin is still intact around me...just not attached. I'm ready for freedom!!!! Thank you so much for being so relatable! So kind, down to earth, enthusiastic about your life. Your backdrop isn't fancy. You just share what you are doing and do it in a positive way. You are a psychologist :). I just love the topics that arise spontaneously in your lecture. You have so much to offer the people who are drawn to you! You make people smile. And, isn't that the whole point?
I don't do it enough but I love setting aside some time for a guided meditation. I should do it every day! It makes me feel so good. Also writing in a gratitude journal every day. I read before bed every night as well.
Another great video, Thanks! I take my 2 little dogs to my neighborhood park everyday for a walk. I tell myself I do it for them but I think it help me too. I am also an introvert with social anxiety so any outing is a success in my book. The positive self talk is a really good tip as it can make a huge difference in mood. I drink my morning coffee in my favorite cup and I have been changing my window treatments to bring in more light. I would love to sit out on my patio with my coffee but unfortunately I am a mosquito magnet! Might have to invest in a screened porch. Thanks again for the great tips.
I enjoyed your eight thoughts for self care. My question is, where are you planning to go for your 60th? I'm trying to out my next birthday trip plans and wanted to ask, are you going alone? Are you going with a friend, your brother, or meeting someone where you're going to visit? I've traveled a little bit, I am 66 and think of myself as an adventurer, in the sense that i do not go to places people would for rest and relaxation but to experience the country one on one with the people. To me it is adventurous and makes me feel more alive. I've sweated it out traveling down the Amazon on mission trips, going into villages, walking the plank, sleeping with thousands of bugs all over me, quite exhilarating, freeing, and heroic! I've also loved my travels in Cambodia. The people are so gentle and have experienced great pain from the past regime. There's so much color to the people in their gentle way. I like to ask a lot of questions, but in some cases, I have learned to keep my mouth shut and just do a lot of reading because I didn't want to be offensive, not knowing what pain was behind the cultural ways. I still want to see the Swiss Alps. The grandeur of the mountains in Tuscany - the painted picture live, and just want to sit around with people from around the world and learn. Right now, after the loss of my mother, I'm kinda stumped and just don't have the gumption to get out the door sometimes, but I know that that would be the best thing to do.
I won't say where I'm going until I've returned...but, originally I didn't feel comfortable going there alone and had booked a group tour. Now after obsessing over the places I want to see and go, I've cancelled the group tour and am indeed doing it solo. I asked family members if they'd like to come with, but it's a pretty expensive trip at an inconvenient time for many, so, I'm going on my own. Excited and a little anxious, but mostly excited!
Spain and Portugal are nice to visit too. I went to Malaga solo in June and felt safe and loved it. Am off to Medegorie next week solo. Am freewheeling to 66!
Thank you for reminding me that I must take time to do some of these. I have been having a drink of lemon juice in warm water every morning for more than 20 years now and I wouldn't start my day without it, it's so refreshing. I drink herbal tea every day, but I love the thought of making it a special moment in the day by taking my time making it and then sitting and looking out at a view whilst drinking it. Unfortunately, I don't have a garden, I wish I did. I'm not able to take an afternoon nap because I work full-time in a busy office, but I do often feel as if I could do with a nap. My job is stressful and I've not been dealing with the stress very well just lately; so, I have recently started doing 15 minutes of meditation when I get home from work and before I do anything else. I am now also going to try out some of your great tips. Thank you 🥰
On my daily walk (less natural and more urban, but not too noisy), I make at least one quick sketch of something I see. This is not about "making art" but about taking a few minutes to observe something closely. While I'm drawing, I shut off everything else in my mind because drawing takes that kind of focus. I spend no more than 5 or 10 minutes per sketch (a tree, a car, a leaf), but it's like a mini meditation. Yes, I do it even in the rain (I live in Seattle)... I have a waterproof sketchbook. No excuses. 😉
Thank you, Jenn. I enjoy your videos. I have started thanking the universe when I wake for keeping me safe while I slept. Also, as gardener that is preparing for the close of this season, while looking forward to next. I read that one of the key take-aways from the at school gardens, was the amount of hope it evokes. I couldn't agree more. The simple act of planning next year's garden is proof we hope/plan for it to happen.
I have a hot bath with aromatherapy 2x a day. In the morning & evening( I am retired so have the time). I also meditate for about 5 minutes before sleeping at night. I have an app with different short meditations. I also read a positive thought daily. I walk daily in nature. Just a few of my daily rituals.I like the power stance will check out that Ted talk.
Your videos and your channel inspire me, you give a lot of value to people, thank you, Jen! I just started creating videos for my channel and I really hope they will be useful to people. In this age of anxiety, it's important to find content that just helps you relax and think about something nice.
Oh I love Anne of Green Gables! I remember watching that as a little girl on PBS. New subscriber here, came for the wisdom as I'm turning 50 soon, and also enjoying the content creator videos. I'm just starting mine.
I try as much as possible to add a self care moment into the day. Hand cream or foot cream are easy to forget about but make such a difference. I find any kind of face mist refreshing too- store bought or a homemade refill.
Bonus! Bonus! I love corny. And you are adorable. Always good reminders; thank you. I always say thank you when my feet hit the floor in the morning and last thing at night as I close my eyes. Specifically, "thank you God for the ever increasing health and abundance in my life and the lives of my loved ones."
Don’t know if you can get it in Canada, but there was recently here in UK a brilliant series called ‘Anne with an E’ - like you I have loved Anne and her attitude to life since I could read
Lovely video, Jenn! I too work from home and have a candle on my desk I light when I begin working. The coziness of the scent and the flame help keep me focused at my desk 😊 Other little self-care practices for me are meditating and walking in the woods (my favorite). I am all about that Japanese forest bathing 😌
Good morning, Jen. Thanks for sharing. Your ideas are positive and doable. I just drew a sketchy sketch of Wonder Women Me Pose. I do love power pose. Every morning I do my Bible in a Year and Catechism in a Year podcasts with coffee stretched out on my loveseat with my cat, Jade, on the back of the loveseat. Spiritual thoughts outside my daily concerns (Sounds a bit holier than thou, but it’s the only way I can express myself.) and coffee lifts my mood and enables me to ‘start’ my day and not drag through it. I’d like to hear how others kick-start their mornings if you are willing to share.
What's interesting about Lucy Maud Montgomery is that even thought her character "Anne" was so upbeat, she wasn't. She suffered with significant depression and apparently committed suicide. You can notice even how the tone of the AOGG book series changes from the beginning to the end. But I do agree that Megan Follows is the best Anne and I even have that same DVD set. Great video and I try to incorporate all the self care practices that you've mentioned
Any extra charge for the bonuses? I didn’t realize you can freeze lemons. That’s one hack I will use for sure!!! 😊😊😊. You have such a great sense of humor 😂
U really keep inspiring me. Your views r huge and u do nothing fancy. Sit and talk to us in your home. I do enjoy your wisdom tho at my age if 51! Let me get back to posting my content regulary!!
Wasn't it the Pringle girl that was such a snob? Yes, I too loved watching / reading Anne of Green Gables. Walking outside and naps are so luxe...the seasons are changing. Have a great day! 🌱
New subscriber here. A lot of your self care tips are my favorites. I love getting up before the sun and watching it rise while I’m on a walk or swim. If I’m not feeling well, I at least grab a cup of tea or coffee and sit in my back patio and watch the sun wake up. I also love hearing the birds and squirrels wake up and start the day too. It’s spiritual for me. Went a few decades not really putting my self care first so I’m a bit greedy with it now 😂 Really loving this time of life having extra time for myself. Great tips!
"May peace be with you_" is what I share with the planet while walking at 6:30 am with Georgia ))smiles Appreciate these rituals and celebrations! YES - walking with nature!!! Emphasis = quick nap ))smiles TU for your share!!! _____PS: A trip to Ireland for writing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! = happy dance!
First off, hello Northern neighbor! Thank you for posting this. Lately putting in eye drops in my eyes is considered self-care! And listening to you has done wonders for well being.
Hi Jen and fans, one of my habits on a colder autumn day is to make a "tea-compote" meaning boiling an apple in 1l water and adding cinnamon and cloves. No sugar. I drink this, warm, throughout the day. If you intend to drink it cold or at room temperature, add a slice of lemon once it's cooled down a bit. The apple can be consumed, too.
Wow so helpful. That TED talk was great. I've been in extream stress & overwhelm at work and noticed myself doing the Wonder Woman pose by accident and tried to NOT do it. I am all in now! I'm going to do it on purpose and notice not only how I feel but how my interactions go and how others may be affected.
I love, love love Anne of Green Gables too! Agree with all of your tips, (except for trip planning 😅) love that they are free and fast. I do 5 to 10 minutes of stretches in the morning and I find it helps get my brain get settled and focused, and helps with aches and pains 😂. Thanks for fun video 😊

There are quite na few of us here who are older. I am 70.
I just turned 80 ani wish I had found her a few years earlier. Just love her soft soothing voice.

As a caregiver, self-care has become increasingly important to me! I can't help them if I'm not doing well.
Look after yourself first!
I wake up every morning, and say a prayer of gratitude. Today, I'm heading out to my weekly morning yoga class. Every day I connect with at least one person, and play in my art studio. I totally need to learn yoga. This is 2024...everyone should be yoga literate!
A hot soak at the end of a long day makes me feel so good! I turn out the lights and only have a candle flickering in the darkness.
I used to like just having a candle, but now I have a big baby cat and he's too silly to be trusted. So I use a salt lamp instead.
All of this. Thank you, Jenn. I will be 70 soon. Embrace your 60s- it’s a great decade!🎉
Good to know! I think I’llbeat Jen to my 60’s by a few months.

I am not single but I am silver and always click on your videos as soon as I see them appear.
I"m not single or silver (yet), but I love her videos!
I'm 74 and still these suggestions are useful and needed! Thanks.
I’m 71, and, yes, I find these ideas work and are doable.
Anne of Green Gables has been one of my favorite book series for 40 years now. In fact, I listen to the audio book on TH-cam when I'm falling asleep at night. That book may have been the reason I fell in love with a red haired woman and we had a baby girl, also with red hair, now 33.
I don't know why you came across my feed, but you are such a delight!
Anne of Green Gables is a favorite! Nature walks, scented candles, memorizing scripture, setting goals, and talking with God are what I ❤ to do.
Reading a good book, having a good cup of tea, and cuddling the cat are self-care habits for me.
Hi Jenn...
I know it seems mundane, but I count my blessings. It only takes a minute and instantly makes me feel better. If you do it while standing in sunshine it makes it even better.
Thank you for your videos..
There always seems to be something that I can adopt or think on.
Put the kettle on and use the pretty cup.
So…fellow social introvert here. The anticipation of social interaction is much worse than the actual interaction (in most cases).

And if the air is coolish, we’ll spray lavender oil on our wrap that we throw around our shoulders.

(who says virtual visits aren’t self-care?)
I’m in my 50s now and just learning about self care. Thank you for the tips ❤
Yes! Megan Follows is the only Anne Shirley for me too! I visited Prince Edward Island because I loved the story so much. I also read all the books. So much wisdom to be found.

Forest bathe! Love that phrase! I always wondered what that was I was doing!
I love perfumes. I spritz some on in the morning and take a few moments to savor the scent. It boosts my mood and gets me ready for the day.
What are your favorites?
@@madelinekimbro2440 I love all the Dior perfumes. Also, Fame by Paco Rabanne, Bee by Ellis Brooklyn and Coco Madamoiselle by Chanel
Hi Jen I am 66 and I have a full routine first thing to take care of me exercises, yoga, medication, prayers and affirmations and I am set up for the day. Thank you for all your great tips. Have a lovely day 👍😉🇨🇮☘️Eire
I LOVE naps♥️💤‼️🙌🏼
I’m a huge Anne of Green Gables fan, too. I visited PEI in 2016. Beautiful area! Your idea to quote Anne every day is brilliant.
All correct. People who benefit psychologically from gardening are many, thank you for talking about this topic 💕💗
You mentioned doing a daily puzzle for a shot of dopamine. NOW I understand why quilting (piecing quilt blocks) makes me feel so positive!
My daily boost is starting the day with a simple morning QiGong routine - outdoors. Even 5 minutes helps.
I am an introvert as well. I like your channel. Thank you for all your help! ❤
Great ideas! I like to put a few stitches in the needlepoint canvas I’m currently working on.
I also thank the Lord at bedtime for the day and in the morning for keeping me safe throughout the night.
Thank you for the garden scenery, your Foxglove look so happy!! 😊😊
I used to use the Wonder Woman pose before challenging meetings at work and it 100% works!
Yes! Gardening is my cardio and boosts my planning abilities as I must think seasons in advance.
Hi Jen, i could send this message to you every time I click into your channel. Thanks Jen for another easy to listen to video and would never want to miss one.🎉
Wow, thank you!
Your most positive affirmation should be that you live in Canada.
Taking a break by listening to one of my favorite music and dance!! Yepp, all by myself! 💃
That's something I discovered as very helpful! 😊
Love the frozen lemon wedges. I’ll try that!
I like this woman. You are a breath of fresh air
The grandeur of the mountains in Tuscany - the painted picture live,
and just want to sit around with people from around the world and learn.
My husband, TLOML, died last Saturday. Now I need this channel and Jen.
Anne of Green Gables was one of my favorites. I named my daughter Morgan because of this book 😊
Love the Google When files. I’m going to remember this Golden Nugget! Thanks, Jenn!
You are Awesome! I’m about to turn 59 & your channel is both informative and encouraging! Thanks for being you!
Thank you 🥰
A great self-care on Wednesdays… watching your videos! 😊
Thank you Jenn….such an excellent posting! So restorative! I love your channel!
Journaling, reading devotional, reading Bible, praying, listen Christian music all these center me.Thanks for the great tips.😄
Yes! Megan Follows is the very best Anne! Since HS that has been a comfort show for me. I can't even begin to count how many times I've watched it! 💚
I walk my dog in the morning in the neighborhood park. Good way to start the day.
Thank you Jen! I love your video's so much ❤
Thanks for great idea's
Most welcome 😊
I enjoyed this list! I have a list of my own - it includes doing drawing or art for a little while every day.
Thanks for the joy❤
Always!
Bonus! Bonus! I love corny. And you are adorable. Always good reminders; thank you. I always say thank you when my feet hit the floor in the morning and last thing at night as I close my eyes. Specifically, "thank you God for the ever increasing health and abundance in my life and the lives of my loved ones."
I am glad to listen to you. It makes me happy.
Don’t know if you can get it in Canada, but there was recently here in UK a brilliant series called ‘Anne with an E’ - like you I have loved Anne and her attitude to life since I could read
Yep, I've seen Anne with an "E"!
I try my best to start and end my day with a prayer 🙏 . I ask for the Lord to help me through out the day.
Love it!! Wonder Woman pose!! ❤🎉
I plan trips too! And music is very therapeutic!❤
Any extra charge for the bonuses? I didn’t realize you can freeze lemons. That’s one hack I will use for sure!!! 😊😊😊. You have such a great sense of humor 😂
Not sur Eid vitamin c will be retained once the lemon is sliced but the taste will be good.
Great list! Quick 5-10 minute meditation. This may be similar to your garden time. Something to distract away from the mid day work stress.
U really keep inspiring me. Your views r huge and u do nothing fancy. Sit and talk to us in your home. I do enjoy your wisdom tho at my age if 51! Let me get back to posting my content regulary!!
Thank you so much 😊
I do those puzzles daily, plus the NYT crossword! I love that ritual. ❤
Hey Jen I’m just taking a minute to watch you pre nap. Thanks as always.
My favorite book the Bible KJV , And much Gratitude 👍
I watched the TED talk. She is great! I am practicing the “Power Pose”
