when I was in ninth grade one of my teachers had a terrarium in her class one day we arrived in her class room and my desk was next to it I noticed a new and unusual plant growing in it the whole class knew what it was so when she arrived I asked her if she knew what kind of plant it was she said that she didn't that it was growing in a garden at her apartment complex and liked it and took it then we informed her that it was marijuana it didn't last long after that

My friend Ashley, has cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair. She was ahead of everyone in her creative writing class, but because of doctor appointments that were excused absences, her doing a months load of HW in vocabulary lesdons over a weekend, and having a D in the class, she was instantly removed from that class, and put into another one, and is now forced to do a test AND a 5 paragraph essay on a book she never read with the class, by the end of the week.......sometimes I feel like they pick on specific people to put bad things on for no reason when they just want to get better in life.......school really sucks when it comes to punishments for no reason.

No joke, but one of my former teachers literally wouldn't grade half the stuff that i turned in unless it was absolutely perfect, if you don't know what i mean, she basically didn't grade a thing if it wasn't on printer paper but on notebook paper. You could have the best one pager on earth, and she wouldn't grade it if it wasn't on the kind of paper she wanted, so, she would simply leave it as, "Missing". Then there was also times she wouldn't hand out any homework and still say it was missing when nobody had it. It's teachers like that i hate most because not only do they pick on you, but they also don't grade stuff that has been worked on, i mean you could turn in a blank paper and still get the same result.

I'm sorry but that would just cause chaos in a classroom. Verify for yourself, yes. But if everyone thinks they're right and won't let a teacher teach then it's just going to cause students to have no respect in the classroom, and a class in which no learning will take place. Teachers are human too and make mistakes, and quietly coming after class for a discussion is one thing but to cause a teacher to lose-face in front of a whole class could be devastating for everyone. Teachers come into their position after years of education and training (and continue that throughout their career) and that certainly qualifies them respect. As a student you should never blatantly follow but you do not have the right to destroy the learning environment.

Yeah, my older brother had something silly happened to him back when he was in middle school. Our father was rightfully ticked off and after talking with the school's principal about it, his school suspended the teacher from holding a teaching spot and I think she spent the next 6 years as a cafeteria cooking staff's assistant and never held a teaching position again. All for writing my brother up for getting sick during an exam day after rescheduling a previous exam due to an injury he got doing sports, lol. Goes to show that school staff need to think before they act.

One of the staff that deals with people who skip class and collects them for detentions had to come and get us, our French teacher was pretty pissed but understanding once we explained the situation. She even emailed him a complaint lmao. The annoying part as well is because we did our exam one at a time, I would do mine, then my friend was after me to do hers, then another person and so on. Because we ended up being late, that then ended up holding everybody else up as well. So well done to Mr Idiot for not only screwing up mine and my friend's exam, but everybody else's in the class 🤦🏼‍♀️

The story of this young man being punished for ultimately saving his classmates life sounds like something that would take place in the KISD schooling system, and it's unfortunate because we're a predominantly military town. Most children in the schooling system here are children of military service men and women...which is truly sad. I grew up on a small farm, and used a knife a million times a day, so I instinctively always carried a small pocket knife. one day the principal called me in and said they were going to search me for weapons. I told them if they touched me they would be left with no intact bones. he gave me a dirty look, reached out and tried to grab my arm, so I broke both of his. I told him that if he tried it again I would make good on my threat to break every bone he had left. they were going to press charges, but were told that I had every right to defend myself against an illegal search.

The most ridiculous punishment I ever got was I got two determtions for having messy hair in class. Side note, it wasn’t messy. I have naturally curly hair and some hair looks messy but isn’t. My mum ended up calling the school, angry at the ridiculous punishment and I ended up only serving one of the detentions because my mum called up after I had gone to it.

Blackfox13 it is. I’ve had people look at me weirdly as if wondering why I’ve come to school with messy hair. It’s not messy, it’s just my hair.

I once got a detention for being beaten up to the point of bleeding out of my ear by a female classmate. I never even raised a hand in defense. Yeah, I was pissed over that.
