I've travelled to Jordan, Pakistan, Egypt, & India as well in the last 3 years. It amazes me when people who have never been there label these countries as dangerous. They watch the news and believe everything they see. I can honestly say that I've received more love from the people of these countries than western cities I've been to. South India and North India and North East India are like 3 different countries. Literally....
There is a reason why this country can seen as a mini - continent in itself.
South is safe heaven for Liberals and westerners. Clean and vibrant.
North East is almost like Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Very calm and collected.
North and central India is Controlled chaos, energetic, aggressive and not what westerners go through on the daily basis yet historically more significant.

This is the place where you guys LOVE to hang around. What do you expect ? People to be angels in this area . Sexual harrasment happens in all the countries in the world . @Proud Bangladeshi গর্বিত বাংলাদেশী He did mention West Bengal right in the beginning, and tbh the "west" in the name doesn't make any sense now, and it's tedious to constantly write "west" once you've mentioned it lol. We never claimed that we're ALL of Bengal, but we are Bengal too. I don't think many Bangladeshis say "plox come to Bengal", they'd rather say "please come to Bangladesh" and that removes a lot of confusion. Bhul bholle shudhre deben :3

@jaihind NatrajN I don’t know about Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. From my experience travelling there, there’s more tension between people of different religions there, people of different religions live in separate areas, and Muslims even speak a separate language in these states, Urdu. However, it’s relatively common in Kerala and Tamil Nadu for Christians and Muslims to visit temples from time to time and vice-versa for Hindus. There are even famous celebrities like Christian singer KJ Yesudas who prayed at Sabarimala but wasn’t given permission to visit Guruvayur temple. The people who don’t do this are religious hardliners from all religions and stubborn atheist Communists.
