Hi, my name is Patrick, but you might know me as the King of Core AND More. Today, I'm going to walk you through a few of the updates and upgrades that ETE REMAN makes to its ever-popular 4L80E transmissions.
Up north, life's all about working hard and playing harder. That's why we've improved our 4L80s so they're as headache-free as possible.
Like a good townie bar, this unit is all about making connections. On pre-1994 versions, we've updated the case connector to the latest design. And an updated pigtail harness means no worries trying to communicate with the older generations.
Inside the 4L80E, there's even less to worry about. That's because the fully remanufactured valve body, complete with recalibration kit, improves pressure control and shift quality. While the updated actuator feed limit valve prevents missing shifts or premature clutch failure.
And, like third row seating, the upgraded 34 element intermediate sprag means increased hold capacity for your tranny.
What do the 4L80E and the King of Core and More have in common? Well, for one, we don't stress about much. With all-new shift solenoids, and updated force motor, and an updated pressure regulator, the 4L80E can handle the pressure. Plus, an EPC solenoid that's independently-tested, means your internal pressures stay under control.
Last, but definitely not least, we've fixed a pesky GM flaw by installing a No Walkout rear case bushing, so no more worrying about damaging the case or output shaft.
