I used to work in several stores, selling high end china, crystal, and silver. I have a love for fine china. Having been trained on lines like Herend, Bernadaud, Rosenthal, as well as more common lines like Wedgwood, Spode, and V&B - I know the workmanship that goes into each piece. Gorgeous tile at that museum!! I laughed out loud at Joerg's dance in the "pub" display. That's some fancy footwork. Lol!

I have never cared for the geometric designs in tiles----but oh, such beautiful ones in the Arts and Crafts section! I loved the Mother and Child one as well---and the Cottage design that was behind you, kirsten. So many lovely tiles....The China shop was amazing! So many beauties! I adore seeing those old factory buildings--what a slice of history---and the old beehive designed Kiln was fascinating to see close-up. Thank you Kirsten and Joerg---this adventure was a pleasure to watch ♥

I agree, some of the tiles could stand out as pieces of art. A single tile could be framed and hung. Absolutely stunning. Loved the various displays and history. I think I would have to choose the tile and then build the room around it.😉 Joerg cracked me up with his little impromptu dance. We don't usually see that side of Joerg. The tour of the pottery and china museum was fascinating. Thank you for sharing your day out with us. Looking forward to more adventures.

Absolutely stunning works of art! I loved the tiles so much. The butcher shop scene was probably my favorite. My family owned and operated a small Italian mom and pop grocery store for close to 100 years and my father was the butcher. Lovely video, thank you. 💜💜💜

Really enjoyed this little adventure, Kirsten and Joerg! Those tiles are amazing and I would have such a hard time not buying a few for my home! Even a half dozen for a nice kitchen splash! Thank you for taking us along. The craftsmanship and beauty of these works of art aren't seen much these days. We do have several very old buildings (banks, grain exchanges, commerce, hotels) here that were built in the early to mid 1800's and some of them have the most gorgeous tile work which likely came from England! These building interiors (and exteriors too) are why so many period films are shot here in our city ...

Hello! I really enjoy coming along on your adventures with you! I am ashamed to say I live not far from these museums and still have not visited them all including these! I was blown away, it’s so interesting! I will have to go now. I watch a lot of cross stitch and quilting channels and they are having the same problems with these scams you mentioned. Thank you for the warnings.

The tiles were exquisite! Thank you for taking us on your adventure.
The scammers are on every TH-cam channel I watch! Doesn’t matter the subject, cooking, crocheting, gardening; they are everywhere and it is no one’s fault. Everyone just has to be careful, and as you said, don’t respond.

I have my grandmother's Royal Albert American Beauty bone china. I'm so proud of the set. It's beautiful. I'm always happy to see someone else appreciate china the way i do.

Lovely adventure. I absolutely love antique tiles. And yes, they are a variety of art. True artisans created such beauty. Same with porcelain, fabrics, wallpapers and furniture. I love it all and could never tire of seeing samples. Thanks for letting me tag along lol.

I want to live in the country side of Jolly Old England! So much more romantic the USA! (But I love the USA). My favorite room was the gentleman’s study and the cow, sheep and pig animal tike mural. Also the peacock mural! Thank you for showing the tour to an old American girl!

Beautiful and fascinating. Joerg dancing and Kirstens "Muttley the Dog" laugh made my smile😊. I have (from my grandmother) a King George and Queen Mary Silver Jubilee tea cup from 1935. In the bottom are beautiful painted flowers. Made my appointment by the Paragon China Company in Stoke-on-Trent, now part of the Royal Doulton Group.
Another wonderful vlog. Thank you both 🙂.
Kirsten..an idea!.. I have special tiles I use as decor, but I also have some special tiles I put felt on the bottom (the sticky felt to put under furniture so it doesn't scratch wooden floors) and I use these tiles as coasters for my tea cups. Maybe you could do the same with one or two tiles you love 🙂. Then you only buy a few 🙂.
