I mix cream cheese , cottage cheese, sour cream , stevia and cut up some strawberries for a snack. Plenty of protein , low carb , satisfying. Thank you low carb love for consistency and continual inspiration.
Cottage cheese has carbs. Sure it’s low but if you want a really easy carb free chip, get Trader Joe’s Havarti cheese slices. 7g fat, 0g carbs, and their everything bagel seasoning. Preheat iven to 350f. Cut cheese into tiny triangles (they expand), around 8 triangles per slice, and place on parchment paper. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on each one. Put them in the oven for 3-5 minutes until they’re all melted, remove and place them on a cooling rack for a few minutes and they are super crunchy and delicious. 2 slices of cheese makes 16 chips. Combine that with some 0 cal pickles and you can munch away without the guilt.
Nice. You can also put a big dollop into the skillet and then when one side is done, take it out onto a cutting board, preferably wooden for less stick, and cut the circle into whatever size and shapes. Then put the pieces back into the skillet and finish.
The only thing about the hidden Valley Ranch mix powder, is that it contains maltodextrin… Which will spike your blood sugar very badly. I have a huge bottle of it I am gonna have to throw away now😖
I tried to make this in the microwave in the past and it was a disaster the first time. The cottage cheese always needs to be freshly open! When you have a bit more liquid in it won't work. If you drain your cottage cheese it will work even it's not freshly opened! Thanks for the recipe Mayra I will try to make it in the frying pan too!👍😘
Myra, thank you!!! Since I found your channel, I don’t feel like my life ended because I decided to live healthy! Every one of your recipes are delicious. So glad to hear from someone who didn't particularly like cottage cheese before this. I've been procrastinating over making some of these but finally bought some cottage cheese this week. I also bought a few other cheeses to experiment with too. I've tried making super thin zucchini crisps in the oven but they always seem to stick to the pan. I'm going to give the frying pan a go instead. I'm not too happy with all the keto recipes I've tried for bread replacements or crisps so I hope these turn out to be something I WANT to eat. Wouldn't that be good?
Thank you! Cant wait to try this! I've lost over 10 lbs so far and LOVE LOVE LOVE that you continue to give us more and more helpful tips, tricks and snacks! Thanks again!
I made them in the microwave which I have done twice now. I did not use Trader Joe's. I used Good Culture Simply Whole Milk Classic Cottage Cheese. That did work pretty well. I did have to microwave them for quite a bit of time, but it did work. They were good and definitely a good substitute for regular potato chips. Fooled me. I would be curious to try Trader Joe's since that is what most folks say works best.
I need to try the microwave version! I’m sure the taste is very similar. I think the reason why people recommend a Trader Joe’s brand is because it’s the cottage cheese that worked best for them but if the cottage cheese you used worked, even better!👏
Hi I made them before in the microwave, but it takes longer than than the stove top. So now I’m going to make them in stove top. I didn’t flavor mine before cooking, but I sprinkle some Ranch flavor for popcorn and it was delicious! Thank you for testing them in stove top. You’re amazing! 💕
I saw this on the keto twins and tried it in the microwave. The one in the middle gets a little burnt but otherwise they turned out perfect 👍 I used just regular Knutson full fat cottage cheese, cause I don't have a Trader Joe's near me
That is such a cute place I like the camera angled that way! I’m definitely going to try these. I don’t like cottage cheese with fruits, I used to like to dunk regular chips or triscuit in them 😆 but I will try this out instead! Trying to get summer time fine. That looks delicious ❤ if I haven’t told you before, Myra you are the bomb 💣
A chip of any kind is merely a vessel to deliver something else to your mouth like salsa, dip, etc. I like having “mouth feel” in my eating so this chip just might be a great option. Easy enough to make and serving with Keto friendly guacamole will be my first test Thanks!!
I've been wanting to try these. Thank you for showing the stovetop way! I don't like those cheese whisps, I'm thinking these will be just the ticket! Love cottage cheese~

I commented on that post but started subscribing when you were at around 996k or so and it’s been incredible to see how fast you hit the 1 million mark. This recipe looks great! I will be near Trader Joe’s tomorrow so I’ll have to stop in, lol. Thank you! I look forward to watching your past videos to get some recipe ideas and all of your future content as well. 🤗❤️

well I live in the country and there is no such thing as Trader Joes...I used off brand cottage cheese total fail!! so I will get the kind you used when I visit my daughter in Knoxville...!! Thanks for all you do oh BTW you look amazing!!!
I love chips and find is so hard not to have them when I am trying low carb. I will try this for sure. I am older, but I remember loving cottage cheese when I was young. It was dense and creamy . My mom use to make cottage cheese with can peaches on top. It was wonderful, But now, every cottage cheese I try seems watery. So I no longer eat it. I will try Trader Joes and see if its better than what I have been finding.
When storing your cottage cheese,, turn the container upside down. Before eating stir good. I only eat Daisy brand. .. no artificial ingredients or preservatives.
I bought TJ's cottage cheese and used my non-stick pan. They failed. My pan was old and was starting to peel, so I threw it out and bought a new pan. They still failed. I put the cottage cheese in my Vitamix blender and tried again. They still would not crisp and when I tried to remove them to turn them over, they curled up and broke. What am I missing?
I have to try these and investigate your other recipes. I am type 2 diabetic but I just crave snacks such as crisps and chocolate and I really have to change my habits and get on top of this. These look good. If pasta, potatoes, chocolate etc were allowed I would do so well but it's all the things that I love that I can't have 😞
I saw chips made with a combination of shredded cheese---just the kind out of the bag---and cottage cheese combined. Haven't tried it yet myself, but the person baked them in the oven for about eight or ten minutes, if I remember right. One can watch them for the first batch, though, and figure it out.
Just made these awesom chips yesterday 😋. Soooooo good. I used Chipotle chili powder seasoning in some and McCormick seasons-all in some others. So worth it. LOVE
Awesome I I tried to make them in the micro-wave, but I whipped the cottage cheese and it really didn't turn out to my liking, but this recipe looks much better! Can't wait ta try it!
I love cheese chips, but my gripe about them is that after the crunch, it gets stringy. Do these? (btw... we did try the protein powder coated chicken and it was delicious!! It did work better to first dredge in protein powder before and after the egg.)

Use parchment paper for microwave. I like to add hidden valley powder (dip mix), for a ranch chip. YUM!
Good idea !
😋 yummy
The only thing about the hidden Valley Ranch mix powder, is that it contains maltodextrin… Which will spike your blood sugar very badly. I have a huge bottle of it I am gonna have to throw away now😖
Now I have to make them! I’m gonna try with dill. I loved those dill pickle chips 😍
I have made these in the microwave at 70% power and they are great. I used parchment and seems easier than stovetop and more crispy.
How many minutes/ seconds?
Yes please. Timing?
@@aim_red it Varys with each microwave but about 4 min or so. I haven’t done it for a few months.

Thank you so much for that comment. Mine is way too runny.
Mine was opened for several days and was fine
Blend the cottage cheese. It works better plus you can add spices for flavor and addition of egg white protein works also.
Might be good with a tiny bit of Parmesan added to the cottage cheese?

Cottage cheese has the same PR team as Cauliflower, cause the transformation of this ingredient is insane.
This is so true and funny. I almost spit out my tea laughing. Great comment.
