The lead singer is Axl Rose. His range is insane. He actually has an incredibly deep speaking voice

The video was filmed at two locations, Giants Stadium in New Jersey and Donnington Park in the UK. Guns N' Roses was still just an opening act at this time.
I saw them open for Mötley Crüe in 1987. One of the best concerts that I've ever seen.
And two people died during the Donington performance.

For me the best rock band of the 80’s along with faith no more they really were brilliant. It would be dire straits but they started at the end of the 70’s.

This is off Guns N Roses first album, Appetite for Destruction. The whole album is fire...Welcome To The Jungle, Mr. Brownstone, My Michelle, Nightrain and It's So Easy would be other good songs to watch. Their next album was a double album, Use Your Illusion 1 & 2. You Could Be Mine and Civil War are two great ones, plus the "trilogy" 3 videos that all go together: Don't Cry, November Rain, and Estranged.

Their song November Rain is off the scale. I think the video is like 9 minutes.
I grew up in the 80's and 90's and Guns n roses were one of the first Groups that really got me into music as a kid. . it all started with Pink Floyd initially. . then some hair metal, But Guns really kinda changed the seen, when they released Appetite it jst blew up, it was Tough. . . then i discovered Rap, as we called it back then, apart from Run DMC and the Beasty Boys, . The DOC really got me into hip hop. . . be cool to see u check him out. . "The Formula" or "Let The Bass go" . . off the first Rap Album produced by Dr Dre to go Double Platinum i think. . "No One Can Do It Better" in 1989. . . Also November Rain By Guns n roses is a pretty cool video to look at.
The only band back then was Guns N Roses and Metalica, Led Zeppar and others but only Roses and Metalica were all in my Era
Guns N Roses is the most talented rock band of all time in my opinion. No rock band has ever excited me as much as they did in the 1980s and 1990s. Paradise City is their best song, in my opinion. As a lead singer, no one compares to Axl Rose.

GnR was incredibly talented and one of the biggest at the time. Thing is, like many bands, egos got involved. But they’re albums are undeniably iconic.

Maybe take One In A Million with a grain of salt. I loved Slash's response when asked how he felt about Axl's specific lyric on the song, as Slash's mom is black. He simply said "it was disconcerting". Amazing and hilarious response.

You seen that seemingly endless WHOLE sea of people fam. They we're one of my favorites. I'm glad to hear you could recognize what talented musucians they are. I grew up on them. Paradise City is my 2nd fav song by them. I liked other songs off of that album too but my favorite song by them was a lot slower & lyrically 'deeper' called "Patience". It's on my favorite album called "Lies". I like all music bc I'm a drummer in a rock/funk band (learned @ Little Rock Central High School in the Marching band). Anyway youtube put u in my algoryrhm fam "SUBSCRIBE". ✌

Axl Rose is the singer and he wasn't "on" anything, thats just him. Slash is the lead guitarist. Also, having grown up in the 70s and 80s, I can state that in the 80s era of "Heavy mettal Hair bands," GNR made me forget ALL about Motley Crue, Cinderella, all those other "Hair Bands" from that era. And really, I equally listened to Iron Maiden, my all-time favorite metal band right along so GNR. Back then, I'd have had GNR in my top 5 .. easily!

Whatta jam! Thanks for helping me relive my early 20s. 1st time I saw them they were the opening act for Alice Cooper in Chicago. Had never heard of them but they blew the f*cking ceiling off the venue. Too bad Axl became such a douche but it doesn't take anything away from them once being a kickass rock n roll band..
